and was advised to depill it myself and contact them again in 3 months. I had already done this, as I had been following the care instructions on their website. I was not satisfied with this initial generic reply, as the problem has persisted and worsened over time.

After doing some research, I found that this is not an isolated issue. Many other customers have had similar experiences with Oz Design couches, reporting pilling and fabric wear as common problems. It seems like a recurring issue with the fabric quality, and it’s clear that this is not just a one-off problem.

The product does not meet the standard of acceptable quality as defined under Australian Consumer Law, which includes being durable, fit for purpose, and free from defects.

What’s more frustrating is the slow response and lack of meaningful resolution from Oz Design. They seem to avoid taking responsibility for the poor quality of their products, offering generic responses instead of fixing the issue. A satisfactory resolution still hasn’t been provided.

For the price paid (close to $3,000), I expected much better quality and customer service. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Oz Design to others. I strongly advise potential customers to consider reviews and complaints before making a purchase. I will update this review depending on how Oz Design responds, but based on my experience so far, I’m not feeling optimistic.

100% satisfaction – The attendants were extremely helpful to discuss with us all possibilities that would satisfy what we intended to have. They couldn't be better, specially Helen who helped us in this purchase as well as in a previous one when we acquired a table. needed and managed to add it to my deliver to save me having to travel the hour it takes me to get to the store. Can not rate the staff highly enough.

2 x 2 seater Cleo Couches – We bought 2 x 2 seater Cleo couches. Delivery was about 6 weeks late because of delays in shipping in country of origin, but we were kept informed re arrival.The couches arrived in good order, and the 2 men assembled them and took away all the packing.The process was very efficient, they messaged on the day before,giving a delivery time and rang when they were1/2 an hour away. NOT happy with the delivery service – the Driver did not respond to our request to give us at least ONE Hour advance notice. Will never shop Oz Design again – Purchased a modular that was damaged in transit then upon unpacking it we discovered the underside covered in mould. I am still waiting on a refund. Customer service has been terrible, no communication at all. Never again. Show details

Be prepared to wait – Pretty shocking. We ordered a table beginning of this year. Every month, we call and ask when it will be delivered. The answer is always in a couple of months. themselves. In our case, COVID is the answer to everything. Can't build a table because COVID apparently. They will not refund unless we pay 30% restocking fee. I should've read the fine print I guess. The rude operator is very quick to blame the customer for not noticing this little gotcha, and boy do they do it with glee!

Essentially, OZ Design sell you the idea of a product in store. All the risk on you, with a hand waving 6-8 week delivery promise, which has turned into 9 months (MONTHS) and counting. Essentially, they hold you to ransom.

I imagine the table will be out of fashion when we finally receive it, or, we'll have moved house and it won't fit in the new place. I'll probably have a long white beard and reminisce fondly about how nice the sales lady was and the promises of tabular glory soon to descend on my family, as I rock back and forth in my rocking chair, old and alone, wondering when it was my son last called, awaiting my dinner from the lovely staff at the sunny hill nursing home.

Tips: - If you really must buy from OZ Design, get a guaranteed delivery date clause in your contract, or a clause stating you can cancel without penalty - Give as little a deposit as you possibly can - Actually, just go elsewhere.

Fabulous customer service – First time buying at Oz design and could not be happier with the customer service. The ladies at the Northland store were so helpful and friendly. We absolutely love our new couch! There was a slight fault in the manufacturing and the Customer Service team were great to deal with and organised a replacement without any delay. New couches – Went and purchased 2 new couches from the manager who was very helpful. Placed order but the couches were meant to be 3 weeks but 5 weeks in they hadn’t arrived. Due to delays, and my having to have surgery, the store manager arranged for it to be changed from collect to delivery free of charge so excellent help and service. Show details

loading up. Upon inspection (after getting home and unpacking the chairs) I did note some minor blemishes on the timber of at least 2 chairs but chose not to complain or contact the store about it. Its been a few weeks now and I haven't really noticed those minor blemishes. Very happy with the chairs, they are nice and study and a little higher than many we tried which suits us.

Good quality furniture and great customer service – We are very happy with the Abby buffet , Abby wall unit, Mango Creek desk, and hall console. The quality is second to none. great if they offered assistance in unboxing and putting together. There was no communication about how the items would come, ie. packaging and assembly required. I struggled a bit on my own! Overall very happy with the pieces though!

We had a wonderful experience – We had a extremely helpful lady Helen , who was very informative and knew what was best for our space , also we had furniture delivered and set up , they knew exactly how to put furniture together, so basically very easy process for us .
