OZ Design Furniture VIC, Springvale

Facts. OzDesign are trying to skirt from ACL laws and are creating their own playbook based on no merit. We are now on our third replacement table with significant issues. complaint manager” who doesn’t seem to actually understand the main issue. Table has 16 cracks in the grain. Just outside of OzDesign warranty but still within ACL laws. They want to send out an inspector to check the table which is absolutely fine, except they cannot provide what would happen afterwards if anything due to “depreciation of table”. Something which is not in the consumer laws”. Ironically the price of the table is now significantly cheaper as well.

I would absolutely not purchase from this company again based off the experience we have received. I would also urge other customers to do their due diligence with this company as well. Instead of OzDesign approaching this issue with seriousness, it seems they are more interested in playing a game of kick to kick with emails even with out extensive photo evidence.

“Here at the home of OZ Design, we make products, for life”. Misleading and a half. Life isn’t 3 years.

Don’t bother replying to me saying to email to “look into this” because I’ve done so for an entire month which has been a massive waste of time from a consumer point.

The purchase process was fine. The pickup process was terrible. You have to wait until the staff in the store have time to come to the pickup area. The product was still in the cage surrounded by other products. We had to move the other products out of the way to get to our product. Totally unacceptable. Show details

Very expensive delivery – Ordered a dining table over the phone and went into the store to pay. Was told that there was a $100 delivery charge which I found hard to believe. Table was delivered promptly in boxes and left in my loungeroom. I asked for it to be put together and was told it was drop off only. Rang the store and they told me you have to pay AN EXTRA $90 to have it put together. When I ordered the table they should have said assembly required. Show details

extremally disappointed as I received 2nd hand/worn out product after ordering – I ordered 3 bar Cristo stools which were very expensive but I received faulty/damaged product. request. I would not recommend anyone to purchase from this store as the product that they describe is not what you get at the end and the after care service is crap.

After sales customer service is terrible. Poor quality control on their products – recieved 3 damages items in an order. damaged inside the box. Where told to hold onto the item, luck I had the spare room to store a damage and dangeours chair. Going to take up to 3 months for replacements after waiting 2 months to take the inital delievery

Satisfied Customer – After visiting a couple of furniture stores, OZ Design had the shortest delivery timeline and best payment terms for comparable good quality 3 seater leather couches so won our business.
