I called up on Friday last week to ask for internet (at 5pm) and an order was placed for the NBN on Monday. After 48 hours my NBN was active, and after some teething issues with my modem I was able to connect. Everyone I spoke to was helpful, and efficient. By the time I had realised there was an issue with my router I was able to speak to someone local who fixed my problem over the phone in under 10 minutes with a professional manner. There was a small issue with the password issued over by email not being correct, but that was identified early and sorted. Early days, but I feel that the customer service was on the mark.

I’m a very happy convert to Pentanet. The Pentanet product is outstanding but the customer service is off the charts good! 5 stars for the fixed wireless. Will interwebs again.

Finally a product where you get what you pay for! No more "typical" evening speeds that aren't even close (or usable) to what you are told or charged.
Having been on the NBN with other suppliers this fixed wireless is a breath of fresh air. So easy to arrange, came within a day to install, no issues, super friendly. Up and running straight away with a very simple modem/router setup.
And the speed, exactly what promised, super fast 60/10mbps day and night, consistently delivering. Best of all it has worked out cheaper than my previous NBN Pla...n that could only deliver 27/1.5mbps. Every person I have dealt with at Pentanet has been exceptional, the overall experience is top class, a real credit to the company. If you can get the Fixed Wireless then go for it!
Amazing Service that Australia Deserves!
After deciding to put an end to poor LBNCO service from one of the providers (with overseas customer care), I decided enough is enough and googled to find Pentanet and the reviews were great. Sent a query later arvo for a call back and received a call the next day morning. Cruisy application over the phone under 10 min. Peter Bullen, great bloke who answered all my queries and was very informative, and I got an appointment the very next day morning; the tech rocked up early and got it all up and running before lunch. Thats right! No waiting time for service to be running cos Fixed Wireless is just O-some. Fast internet speed, good reliability and this Co is just killin it. Thanks Pentanet!

Experienced Bad internet serviceby pentanet
I been using pentanet from more then 2 years. It was good before but now its frustrating. Bad custoner service even. They just only consuntrating on Wildcats these days.
Speed not stable talked with them they have no solution instead of saying turn off modem and turn on after 10 minutes.
I just switched from Optus to Pentanet. Under Optus we were disconnected from WiFi for about two months; they simply could not troubleshoot effectively to solve our NBN issue. So I switched to Pentanet and within 2 days I had an NBN technician at my house and I was up and running almost immediately thereafter. I firmly believe I would have suffered another month or so without WiFi if I had not made the switch to Pentanet. So impressed with their customer service and the speed with which they solved my problem

Signed up after dealing with redbroadband hoping for a decent wireless internet connection to my home because NBN isn't good at all and was the best decision of my life. you get exactly what you pay for and I couldn't ask for more
Product is fantastic and very easy to use/ set up, but the one thing that separates Pentanet from others is there service! Their team is awesome and very easy to deal with and will spend time with you understanding how to fix something (or set things up) rather than sending you a manual and leaving you to it. Couldn't recommend them more highly!

We changed from Telstra 50/20 plan to Pentanet's 50/20(both are FTTN) and found that available bandwidth was appalling. We have a Fingbox wired into the modem which gives an accurate account of the performance, complete with monthly reports. Many emails were sent back and forth with support for over 2 months which resulted in a call back from one of the directors to say that their backend provider for NBN was going to change. Six weeks later, Pentanet's backend was changed which made a huge difference. Now the drop offs are mainly down to the...rain which effects the copper to the NBN node so we're going to try out the 30/10 fixed wireless set up as latency is a bigger concern than downloads. For the Covid/work from home, we use a VDI solution which avoids having to download/upload large files. Looking forward to the new service that will be configured this week as there are so many positive reviews. Fingers crossed!
The Best in WA
The best net I have ever had it's incredible. My previous provider was offering me max 35 but with Pentanet im getting 117 easily. So fast to stream videos and play games online. I Could not be more happier with the performance. Thank you guys!

Happy customer of 2+ years - never going back to N.B.N!
We have been customers of Pentanet at home for over two years now. We started on N.B.N. and it was great - after a T.E.R.R.I.B.L.E experience with two other providers, Pentanet had us online in 24 hours and we had double the speeds we had with the other two even though our N.B.N. is only able to do around 60 speed.
I got a call about 6 months ago saying fixed-wireless was online in our area and there was no cost to change from N.B.N. so we went ahead. Its a little antenna dish on the roof that looks like a Foxtel one and we were up and runnin...g in about 2.5 hours with the same modem and everything and it just works really well all the time. The kid's and I game a lot and the wife works from home during the day so we got the unlimited package. During covid Pentanet called us because our usage increased during the day and they proactively asked if we were working from home, so they could recommend changes to our setup. We were happy with the way it worked even before this but we got the new Amplifi modem so we could prioritise our work computers to work 'first' and run a ethernet cable to the computers so they were lightning fast and the W.I.F.I was free for gaming and netflix. We also upped our uploads (apparently working from home changes the focus to be on upload as well as download, but just norma home usage is more about the download, we learnt this in a very informative Facebook chat with them!) and then changed them when we went back to the office again. Good that its flexible too. All in all really really happy and definitely recommend!
Very reliable, never had an issue.
Been with them for 1 year (50/20 unlimited). Local Perth service, when you ring them, you speak to a local who speaks english. A huge win in my book. No overseas call centres. Never had drop outs or issues. Bit more expensive compared to competitors, but worth it considering the reliability and service.

After being a happy Aussie Broadband customers for a few years I investigated the options when I moved home. I knew about Pentanet but I'll admit I was reluctant to go with them because I thought they were "alternative" for the sake of it - ie. the Australian Government has spent SO MUCH TAX MONEY on the NBN, why do they (Pentanet) need to build their own network? But the packages on their website were better than I was getting from Aussie so I gave them a call.
I didn't have to wait on hold (tick), the phone was answered by an Australian (tic...k) and I explained that I was interested in an NBN plan. The Pentanet employee checked my home and estimated that the NBN would be pretty slow based on the distance from the node, etc (boooo!). They suggested that I would get much better throughput from their Fixed Wireless service (eyes roll, here we go sales pitch. This gonna be expensive). I discussed my reservations about latency etc. and it was explained to me that Fixed Wireless was developed by gamers to Fix latency issues (.. hmm ok..) While I was on the phone, he used their high quality satellite imagery application to "virtually" stand on my rooftop and verify line-of-sight to the tower (pretty cool). Then we discussed the plans and I was able to get a Fixed Wireless service for LESS $ THAN THE NBN! And there was always the option to switch to the NBN with Pentanet if I wasn't completely happy with Fixed Wireless. I had nothing to lose. Three months on and I'm over-the-moon with my Pentanet Fixed Wireless!! I have been able to scale the data allowance up and down to suit my changing needs (working from home, etc.) and while some areas of Perth were really struggling with the NBN during the COVID-19 stay-home period, I had lightning fast, reliable internet all day every day. (and it's cheap) Pentanet "onboarding specialist", D'Arcy, was so thorough and helpful and I've discovered it's the culture of the whole company. Jayden, the installer was the nicest guy, super polite, efficient and helpful. Kimberly in accounts has been awesome when it came to adjusting the plan for WFH and setting up direct debit. You can tell it's a great company because the staff are enthusiastic, personable, thorough and efficient (and local, yay!).

I'm currently with belong and have been for the past 4 years with no issues, (NBN Ftth 50+Mbps). However I've recently moved to Armadale where its now Fttn less than 10 Mbps. Even belong emailed me to say they are unable to provide the speeds I'm paying for!

Should also add we're all big gamers (usually 3 sometimes 4 xboxes online at once)

Hi there, so im massive into gaming.. if i do switch over can i put the router in anyroom and hardwire my ps4 into that?
they can install a wan socket into your wall and you can enjoy fast speeds on their fixed wireless but its terrible and i won't recommend it im on fibre to the home and i don't have one issue ABB is way better than pentanet
Hey Mickey - that will depend on which service you're eligible for. With our fixed wireless service, we will install a dish on roof where there is line of sight to a tower, and then install a new data point in your home. Generally, that will be directly below the dish, but if you'd like it somewhere else, you can discuss with our technician on the day!
@Amy - your profile say you're in Victoria, we don't provide services outside of Western Australia so not sure how you managed to experience our Fixed Wireless!
