A good service, had it since 2022 as we couldn't get comparable service and speeds from other providers for the price we pay. It's now September 2025, we have had the need to call Pentanet technicians out twice in the 3 1/2 years we've been with them. Once to upgrade hardware, and then to re position after storm damage. Great service from WA owned and operated business – I have been with Pentanet now for 6 years after leaving Exetel after 2. I am on a 100/40 plan and my speeds stay consistent or exceed the 100/40 connection no matter what time of day. call technical support 2 in 6 years. Been a local Perth based company you are speaking for someone local (not overseas who can't speak English). I like supporting a local WA-owned and run business. The staff and genuine, kind and quick. My only criticism is that you do not get to nominate the day you would like your billing cycle to be done to align with your other bills / pays cycle. You do, however, get a discount if you are an RAC member.
Faultless – speedy and reliable had no dropouts thus far, I have not had any negative issues or problems so cannot comment on the help or standard of service of something I have not yet needed. My initial contact and installation of my service was on time and couldn't have gone any better, the tech (Shanahan) was friendly informative and more then willing to answer any questions I have about the fixed wireless service.
Pentanet, the Betternet option – We've had pentanet for a good while now. No issues ever. It only goes off during planned outages or of my cat unplugs the modem. I can't recommend them enough. that was cool. No drop outs yet, great speeds, low latency and low ping. Also a pretty good price for everything you get.
They also have an app which I would highly recommend as it has some really cool features that I havnt really seen elsewhere, such as: blacklist, notification when user accesses wifi, modem lights and more.
I got this at the begging of sep 2024 and will update if my options have either changed or need tweaking.
Just wanted to add a small update as of 10/01/25 only ever had very minimal issues that resolved quickly, without needing to call pentanet. So I'm sticking to what I said, this is a great service and have recommended to a few more people becouse of how much i love the service.

issues escalated have been ignored. Just overall rude and seemingly disinterested.
Probably the interaction I found most shocking was when I was inquiring to make a change to my plan that was within the bounds of their terms and conditions - their customer representative refused. When I pointed out that it was within the terms and conditions as per Pentanet's website - the reply I received was:
"Pentanet, as per the T&Cs, reserves the right to cancel or change these Terms & Conditions at any time in its sole discretion."
I found this a very odd reply. So essentially any agreement or commitment they make you with is meaningless. Because they can change the T&Cs at any point in time to suit whatever is in their interests.
Would not recommend their services.

Outstanding service from Pentanet. Their speed, reliability, and local support have always been great, but their customer service truly sets them apart. When no other provider was able to help upgrade my connection from FTTN to FTTP, Pentanet stepped up and found a solution. They took on a challenge others wouldn’t, and I’m incredibly grateful for the effort and professionalism they showed throughout the process. Highly recommended.

I am absolutely appalled at the toxic culture Pentanet takes towards it's customers. I attempted to access the Nexus network but was told it would take around 6 months to roll out to my area, but that if I churned to their standard NBN, I could lock in the lifetime rate. them and take on that offer. 2 years later, still no access to Nexus, so I went looking for a better deal, which I found on Superloop. I was churned 7 days into the new billing cycle and requested a pro-rata refund for the unused portion of the month, which is standard practice for every other ISP I have dealt with. Despite this history and not having provided 3/4 of a month of service, Pentanet denied my request based on 'policy'. This is pure theft. Be warned, this company is just a cash grab.
We have been having continual outtages wih Pentanet for the last 4 months. They replaced the modem without avail and have basically been going around in circles with their technical support. into a contract and then you're stuck with them, like it or not. Pentanet have NEVER let me down, EVER. Please do yourself a favour, DO NOT renew your contract until you try Pentanet .... trust me ..... You won't be sorry.
Pentanet run a ‘good ship’ it was very easy to sign up, had absolutely no issues at all with connections and they are always prompt to answer any emails. And being Perth based helps too.

customer service I‘ve received during the switch was top quality. They were very friendly, professional, efficient - basically making sure that I was looked after from start to finish. I cannot fault PentaNet and have recommended my friends to switch. 200 hours and counting on Hitman. Need that stable internet to finish my online missions and be crowned Silent Assassin‘s top 10 global chart.
The connection is great. I would say that over a year I may had had 2 dropouts. It is good to see a local company growing. At the same time it would be good if the response to queries or questions were answered in a timely manner as they were at the start. A big plus is local support and the speeds are pretty good.

Pentanet is so easy to deal with and highly reliable. I switched to them in 2020 and haven't looked back. We were with TPG and they were unreliable and speeds were poor. I have referred many family members to Pentanet and will continue too. Show reply
Extremely reliable connection. Been with Pentanet for years and have never had any major issues. I really like that they are a local company and easily contactable. Definitely recommend.

I switched from iiNet and haven't looked back. I used to rate iiNet for their customer service whom I used on a regular basis but frankly speaking I have not required to use Pentanets customer service as it rarely ever faults. On the rare occasion I have called, their customer service is exceptional. Show details

PENTANET made the entire experience of getting the internet put on at my house, seamless.
