Pentanet NBN

and conditions, but that doesn’t make it reasonable.

I requested a pro-rata refund or goodwill adjustment, only to be repeatedly quoted their cancellation policy. Interestingly, they admitted they sometimes waive these charges for long-term customers, but apparently not in my case.

The actual internet service itself was fine. However, their pricing and treatment of departing customers leave a lot to be desired.

My advice is to shop around when your introductory discount expires and read the cancellation terms carefully. Don’t be fooled by all the local Perth marketing. Being a local company doesn’t mean better value or better customer service. I certainly won’t be returning.

procedures to try and find out what was wrong while I was on the phone. So when nothing worked, it was left for NBN to sort out. In the meantime, I had already received a message to let me know about the outage from NBN.

I rang to check in about 2hrs later and got Carol again when I rang, and she had confirmed that there was still no fix happened. I did mention to her that I had some urgent work to do, so she advised me to keep an eye on the modem and if all my modem lights came back on in the meantime, it would be OK to use again.

About 30 mins after that call, Carol rang me to make sure I had seen the system was fixed, and said as I had told her that i had some urgent work to do. She had been keeping an eye on the system to see when it come back up, and decided to ring me and let me know in case I had not noticed.

That was in my mind great service from Carol and was much appreciated, and in line with all the great service I have received over the years from Pentanet. Please pass on my thanks to Carol for her great service.

into a contract and then you're stuck with them, like it or not. Pentanet have NEVER let me down, EVER. Please do yourself a favour, DO NOT renew your contract until you try Pentanet .... trust me ..... You won't be sorry.

I am absolutely appalled at the toxic culture Pentanet takes towards it's customers. them and take on that offer. 2 years later, still no access to Nexus, so I went looking for a better deal, which I found on Superloop. I was churned 7 days into the new billing cycle and requested a pro-rata refund for the unused portion of the month, which is standard practice for every other ISP I have dealt with. Despite this history and not having provided 3/4 of a month of service, Pentanet denied my request based on 'policy'. This is pure theft. Be warned, this company is just a cash grab.

We have been having continual outtages wih Pentanet for the last 4 months. They replaced the modem without avail and have basically been going around in circles with their technical support. Terrible service – I used Pentanet’s NBN service and was highly disappointed. Their support was slow and unhelpful, and they slapped me with hidden fees when I changed my address. customer service I‘ve received during the switch was top quality. They were very friendly, professional, efficient - basically making sure that I was looked after from start to finish. I cannot fault PentaNet and have recommended my friends to switch. 200 hours and counting on Hitman. Need that stable internet to finish my online missions and be crowned Silent Assassin‘s top 10 global chart.

Outstanding service from Pentanet. Their speed, reliability, and local support have always been great, but their customer service truly sets them apart. When no other provider was able to help upgrade my connection from FTTN to FTTP, Pentanet stepped up and found a solution. becoming increasingly rare and really sets them apart from other providers. The speeds provided on my plan are consistently reliable and remain close to the advertised rates, with very little fluctuation.

The connection is great. I would say that over a year I may had had 2 dropouts. It is good to see a local company growing. At the same time it would be good if the response to queries or questions were answered in a timely manner as they were at the start. A big plus is local support and the speeds are pretty good.
