until after Christmas, and would probably be back in the new year. We looked at a few more chairs in other shops but went back to view Pine Discount again in January.

We decided to purchase the 2 chairs, because 1. the quality of the product, and 2. the very fair pricing of the chairs.

The only negative l had was the price of delivery, which l feel could be a little more reasonable, but on delivery, the two guys delivering even did the partial assembly that was required, so really there was no negative.

Generally my wife and l are very happy with our purchase, and certainly happy with the assistance, lack of sales pressure, we received from Michelle.

August 23rd 2017 Update: White Gloss Sydney Highboard

Bought a white gloss Sydney Highboard from Pine Discount Joondalup. Sales order number PSIN-185986. Also paid for delivery and for a carpenter guy to assemble it. I have bought from this store previously with no problems at all. Three reasons why I love this store on this occasion. 1) Love the white gloss Highboard and the fact that it was at a reasonable price. 2) The saleslady quoted the incorrect (she quoted a lower price than what it really was) price for a guy to come assemble it. But the store honored the incorrect quote given to me, with no arguments from the store at all. 3) Took the carpenter over 2 hours to assemble it (better him than me spending all day trying to assemble it as Instruction Book only had complicated diagrams, but no detailed written instructions) and when it was assembled there was a VERY small chip/crack on the edge. He informed his boss. The next day I was contacted and was told that piece would be replaced ASAP at a convenient time that suited me. Not once in this transaction with Pine Discount did I have any sort of problems or hassles. Very happy customer and already eyeing another Amelia dresser table. Thank you Pine Discount.

Worst Customer Service In History Never Shop Here – I purchased a 5 piece king size bedroom suite, mattress and display cabinet from Pine Discount Joondalup. This purchase was financed instore through HSBC credit card over 50 months interest free with a $59 annual fee. out on both the 12th and 13/01/2017 to fix bed issues. It was also determined that there were issues with the tall boy, lingerie chest and one bedside table. The drawers were not functional, and warped. The display cabinet was in poor condition and chipped. (photos sent to customer service at Pine Discount.) They did not have another display cabinet so it was agreed upon that this would be replaced when next shipment arrived in April 2017. Customer service personal (CSO-Pine Discount) arranged for a second delivery of the three remaining bedroom suite pieces on 18/01/2017. She had arranged for these pieces to be checked at warehouse prior to being delivered. During this delivery the carpet in the main bedroom and wir ended up with black marks caused by the boxes the furniture was in. [name removed] the carpenter came that afternoon to unpack and assemble these pieces. He determined that the pieces were not acceptable, took photos and also took photos of marks on carpet, and showed these to their customer service employee, she then sent Ian to warehouse to source these three pieces. He found an acceptable lingerie chest and bedside table. He then looked instore at Joondalup to look at Tallboy but was not happy with this. A third delivery was scheduled for Tuesday 24/01/2017 but the customer service employee rang Monday afternoon and advised that they would not be delivering any more furniture and that they would pick up all furniture except mattress and give a refund.

My only expectation through-out this whole process was that I would receive the furniture I had paid for in good, working condition. It has been very inconvenient having two deliveries of furniture, 3 home visits from the carpenter and numerous phone calls between me, my mother and the customer service team at Pine Discount to try to resolve this issue.

I spoke to customer service again the next day and she said my two options are keep the furniture I have (which is not of a good standard) or receive refund of purchase price less mattress cost.

I am extremely disappointed with the outcome of this purchase to date. I have recently moved house and my clothing etc cannot be put away in the drawers that I have received from Pine Discount as they do not open/close properly.

My expectation was is to receive a full refund of purchase price including mattress, as this was purchased as part of the bed set, refund of delivery cost, annual fee for HSBC credit card, and carpet cleaning costs. I also requested compensation for all the inconvenience we have endured over the month

went to the ACCC and they tried to help in getting my a full refund but pine discount wouldn't agree. so I had enough and told them to come pick it all up. the pine discount customer service team arranged the date and time to pick it up, so i emptied my room for them to get the furniture and they never rocked up, so i got home at 3am as i work night and had to put everything back in my room and had to call up the next day and organise another time because they can't get anything right.

Total cost for set was over $3000 and had multiple problem as well as their service.

Never shop here all you will get is faulty furniture and multiple dramas.

advance. Unfortunately, when the delivery people rang we were instead given a 3 hour window of their anticipated delivery. Not sure helpful when you're trying to work in the delivery with work but it all worked in the end. I am super happy with my new bed suite and have no complaints!

Not impressed with the chairs – Not happy with the Montauk dining chairs. We payed good money for them and two had broken in two months. They are very flimsy and are only glued. So happy with my lounge purchase can’t believe I didn’t do it earlier – I saw lounge in catalogue I gave Joondalup store to see if they had them in stock. Perfect Bed for Spare Bedroom – Very easy to put together and not wonky like other cheap beds. Love the Grey colour of this Willow bed, it has a slightly blue tone to it, very modern looking. Great purchase – Saw a corner lounge advertised in the catalogue, we went into the store to see it but none were available ,new stock was coming in. When the stock arrived we had a call, the store staff arranged for the lounge to be delivered to the store, so we could see the colour and sit on it.
