My experience with Pique Fox to date has been so smooth, thans to the team. Amy Francis has been my Contract Administrator in charge of the building and approval processes. Amy Francis has been proactive in dealing with any changes to the drawings/contract and would prompt you on some of the things that we had overlooked e.g that only gas appliance in the home will be the cooktop. well before work starts. Application and approval of building permit was very much on time and this was communicated through. Amy kept us informed as soon as our files were moved to Scheduling department and gave us an indicative duration of how long this was going to take. We are happy Amy has remained our main contact person during Scheduling until we move across into Manufacturing.
This was our first experience building something ourselves and with current build timeframe and the cost of standard builds in regional areas being out of our price range, getting a modular was a no brainer. end-product we wanted for our dream home. We went for a walk through the display homes at PIQUE and as soon as I saw the pitched roof and huge feature windows I knew we were at the right place. We were even more encouraged by the fact that three houses in our new development were also with the same builder - two even on our street (at first we were a little worried about how it would look, but after seeing the amount of designs and possible variations we knew we could easily make it our own). We are currently in the process of finalising our build with pique and the whole process has been so personal and transparent. During every interaction we’ve really felt like every member of the team was working in our best interests and it’s made all the difference to our experience. It feels like we’ve had a minimum of two/three people on hand to answer our questions or respond to our requests the entire time. We did make quite a few changes but it was so easy to modify the modules so that they were exactly what we wanted for our dream home and compared to our original quote the end cost came in surprisingly under our budget. I’ve even changed all the lights switches so that the home is smart light compatible which is something I was told couldn’t be done by other modular companies. We’ve heard some horror stories about first builds from our friends who have gone with other companies so we were pretty cautious going in - but we’ve not had a single thing to worry or stress about so far and all our friends are blown away when we tell them our move-in timeframe is probably looking like next year! It feels like we really lucked out by choosing PIQUE and we would recommend them to anyone who is looking to build something high-quality on an affordable budget.
Our prestart meeting with Bethany was so great. She walked us through every step and made it all so easy. She had so many great suggestions of things to consider and even though it was the first time we had every met her, she had all the details and specifics of our project crystal clear. This is the second house for which I have been provided advice about the pre-start stage of construction. Like the rest of the Pique team, the Prestart Consultant provided excellent customer service and made me feel comfortable making the difficult decisions necessary to complete the house to the highest level of comfort for many years to come. We started our Pique journey with Fox in Jan 2024, the building was impressively dropped on site in March 2025 - aligning very closely with the 12 month expectations we were given. construction usually with a fortnightly photo and we felt informed throughout the build. While communication between shires, contractors and builders is not always as straight forward as hoped it felt like Fox were always great to get back to us within reasonable times and this led to a relatively stress-free and exciting experience. We love our build and there were zero issues with connections to all utilities. A particular highlight for us is the polished concrete flooring. It should be noted the discs on which the building sits mean the building is raised about half a metre off the ground and this should be factored in. A small issue with the front door lock was repaired as quickly as possible even though our site is rurally located with no fuss. We would recommend Fox to anyone thinking modular or otherwise in built up areas or remotely.
Slower to get started than I would have liked but so far, so good. Just completed the administration phase of our build and Dave, Bethany and Amanda have been responsive, helpful and patient. Very very impressed. From start to finish Fox Pique have been really great to work with, friendly staff, easy going, not the forced type salesman trying to upsell everything. the Jurien Bay Condo. It is very well made, insulated perfectly and extremely quiet with all the doors and windows shut. Obviously there were some cracks in the walls due to transportation but nothing structual, only negative we have about the place is the paint internally is a little thin, but apart from that we can not fault it. Big thank you to everyone down at Fox for making this whole process easy. I'll have to bring down an esky full of crays when i get too many haha. Until next time!

Excited for our home – We are currently waiting for our house to be build and hope to have it finished around April, we are so excited to see the final result. The prestart was a smooth process and we have received good communication from Fox/Pique, now we are waiting to be updated on the start of our build. entire team treated us with kindness and respect at every point, even when I was pestering them for updates. We were lucky enough to be able to see our home mid-construction in the yard and it was incredible to see how it all comes together and how quality the workmanship is down to the very core of the home. We also appreciate being given the opportunity to visit their construction yard a few months ago, allowing us to see first-hand the different stages of various modular builds and their quality. Pique construction now well under way – Next stage of the house construction has been completed. The bases have been delivered and frames for the walls and roof have been put up very quickly but at the same time very well. for Fox and with the Fox site supervisor has been very good and professional. I’m really looking forward to seeing how construction progresses from here. I recently dropped by the Fox display houses at Boom Street and bumped into the Operations Manager who was very pleasant and certainly on top of the job - knew my project very well. Even the sales rep I first discussed Fox modular homes with sent me some progress photos!

Bethany in pre-start has been such a delight to deal with, giving us the support we needed to make all of those decisions, big and small! It was a fun experience, rather than the stressful experience I thought it would be. Communication from all team members has been prompt and comprehensive. especially at the moment in housing, is outstanding. - The team have all been excellent to work with. - The updates on the progress of the project have been clear and timely. - The willingness for the company to accommodate specific needs is excellent - They have been very cooperative and helpful in working through some contract and legal matters. - The final cost ended up being slightly under the estimate cost, which I very much appreciated.
Cons: There's really only been 2x instances that I feel were avoidable that could have been improved, and these were essentially communication errors. 1 - A request I made regarding paperwork submission was ignored, which led to some minor delays/difficulty. 2 - The indicated overall project time was, in my opinion, unrealistic, because it didn't include a timeline on the pre-start variables, design, legal, and other matters. The build time is exceptional, but the lead up time took much longer than we expected, and we feel that could have been communicated more clearly, as it has somewhat complicated our situation. I do acknowledge though, that you can't possibly put a set timeline on this part of the project, as it's really a "how long is a piece of string" scenario, and dependent on numerous variables. Clearer communication and addressing the possible time scenarios would have been helpful.
Based on our experience so far, I would absolutely recommend working with PIQUE on your project, as the overall experience has been mostly simple, straightforward, high quality and thorough, and I think quite affordable for what is being offered.
