I believe that Pope stopped making these some time back. I still have one, but am not using it because of the potential unreliability. I have reorganised my garden watering system to use several single outlet timers from another manufacturer, Holman I think is the brand. These are easy to program and seem to be reliable - after only 6 months - time will tell. If you are ever in Melbourne you are welcome to my disused Trio free of charge.
I found it very good, and easy to set up. Unfortunately the one that received extreme sun and frosts didn't last the one undercover is still working great. I have managed to program a two station Orbit to work. Thank you.

I have one of these,up until now it has been great,however it jumps from am to pm and all over the place,have renewed batteries,turned it off nothing works.Do I throw it out?

You could contact Pope, but I believe that Pope have discontinued making this model. They still produce Tap Timers. I just bought two single outlet Pope timers (from Bunnings) that are much easier to program than the old triples.
how do you wipe the program to restart settings when the dam thing is going haywire
I suggest you remove the batteries for several minutes. This should allow the circuitry to discharge completely and (maybe) allow for a complete reset. If that doesn't work then you might have to attempt to reprogram each possible combination back to zero. I'm no expert, just a user of these timers. In my experience, the timer clears its memory when you don't want it to rather than the other way around as you want it.
Why both indepently programmed zones come on at the same time! I then get twice as much water but half the pressure with everything going at once! So some of garden is failing to get water
When I replaced the batteries in my 3 way timer the timer face does not appear.The face is blank. I tried 2 lots of batteries but still no go. Jenny

I didnt set up this timer and looking at the instructions I cant work out where or how to access the batteries to change them. Please assist.
Look on the back of the timer next to the QA sign and the manufacturing date. I always used a screw driver to prise out the battery compartment.

Could you please explain why it resets the clock!? It looks like it bugs, the whole screen is flashing and then I have to reset the time, but it remembers everything else (timing for watering). Battery is not low, I actually change them to make sure.

I bought two at the same time. One keeps time, the other changes the time randomly. It's very frustrating. I have been very happy with the one that is reliable, the other one drove me crazy so I took it off and left in the shed. Does that make it 50% reliable/satisfactory? hmmmm
On manual setting, why does the zones swap across zones?
Good question. And why when I put it on manual only Zone C does it activate all zones?
My aquazone trio has stopped releasing water. It doesn't work on program or manual. Have tried new batteries, but no success. Any advice?
I've had 2 trios and a duo for quite a few years with no real problems. The batteries lost power last night. Everything came back up a usual, apart from the current time. It justs shows a one (1). Cleared the screen using the start button without success. Runs ok on manual. What can I do?

I have a three outlet timer, and the second valve will not turn off completly until the third outlet kicks in, how can I fix it..
My water timer keeps changing the time of day I set the time to current time next day it’s changed to the wrong time so then the timer doesn’t work

Hi Guys, am having serious leak issues - it's coming out of Zone A even though it's deactivated as well as the B and C outlets.

My tap timer is showing that the water is flowing on the front of the unit, but there is no water flow on automatic or manual. Any ideas?
Is your water source turned on at source? You don’t have any splitters before the timer that might have a restriction system that has turned your water off ? Never had that issue
Why does the time keep changing?
I’ve never had that issue unless someone is tampering with it. Replace the batteries as a first point of eliminating causes.
Rubbish
I have that problem. Changing batteries didn’t help but I have now tried pressing OK for 20 seconds and the screen completely cleared plus new batteries. I started from scratch with programming. Will see how that goes.
Gai, did it work?
My Aquazone Trio Timer randomly loses it time and day settings, eg today Sunday 11:30pm the display indicated Friday 6:30 am. Has done this several times in the last year or so. Is there a cure? Otherwise it is a great timer.
