Of course, none of this would have been possible without the strong support of the office team — Darryl (Director), Sharon (Contracts and Customer Experience Manager), Vicky (Colour Consultant), Adam (Operations and Digital Marketing Manager), and Angela (Administration/Construction Team). Each of them has worked efficiently to keep everything moving smoothly, while patiently guiding and assisting us throughout the process.

We’re genuinely grateful for everyone’s support and are so glad we chose Provincial Homes. We’re confident and looking forward to the upcoming construction phase!

We have recently completed building the Birch Grove 33 with Provincial Homes and we are very happy with the end result. The price was also reasonable, especially compared to other builders who offered fewer inclusions at a higher cost. We were also extremely pleased with the customer service provided by Alex at the Box Hill office, as well as by our site supervisor, John Abboud. Show details ·  1

The miseries continues - latest updates – This update/review will again reconfirm how Provincial Homes continues to prove that they are not as reliable as they claim to be, and wit will cover the latest in 2 parts. 1. Getting evicted from my current rental property, as the rental agent and the owner cannot believe that a home construction company in the Southern Hemisphere cannot deliver… Read more

a two-storey house in more than two years. 2. Contract signed in March 2021 - Delay officially accepted in March 2023 (finally) - but they won't pay $500 as per the contract. Instead, it will be adjusted with the final invoice. This is a breach of the commitment made.

Now in brief.... The delay from Provincial Homes continues to be a major problem. The handover date was pushed from November 2022 to February 2023 because Provincial Homes has difficulty managing their subcontractors in a timely and efficient manner, and this is evident with this ongoing delays and also via emails. As a result, I had to extend my rental tenancy contract from its initial termination date in November 2022 to March 2023. In February 2023, Provincial Homes reactively (Reactively- not pro-actively) informed me that the February handover would not be possible due to subcontractor management issues. Now the drama got worse with my current rental arrangement. My current rental agent and landlord got annoyed. They found it hard to believe that there is a builder in Australia who takes more than two years (the construction contract was signed in March 2021) and still cannot provide a date of completion. Consequently, my rental agent and landlord took the matter to NCAT. On April 27th, 2023, the tribunal ordered my eviction in three weeks. This means that agreeing to build with Provincial Homes, "the proven professionals," was a big mistake and hard working people risks becoming homeless if they decide to build with Provincial Homes. Two years and two months and still counting.

Furthermore, the irony is that Provincial Homes still cannot provide a handover date. It can only be concluded that this company is mismanaged, arrogant, and full of stories.

Secondly, on 3rd March, `2023, after two years of signing the contract, they finally accepted that they were running behind schedule. However, they won't pay the penalty of $500 per week as they mention in their sales pitch and in the contract as-well. Instead, they will adjust it with the final invoice. Moreover, on any day, if there is even 1mm of rain, they will consider it a rainy day.. What a filthy joke!..

I really don't understand how THE DIRECTORS AND MANAGERS, and the whole team at Provincial Homes can look at themselves in the mirror or even face customers when they clearly know that their incompetence is leaving their customers (we, the customers, pay for all the luxuries they have in their life) homeless or at risk of becoming homeless because they are not doing their job. They love giving excuses and the worst thing is that they are not ashamed of those baby excuses..

I am scared for all the hard-working families that may have fallen prey to Provincial Homes. I wish all the best to everyone who has fallen for Provincial Homes.

I hope that my and my families tears and pain is bringing the desired joy to everyone at Provincial Homes, especially the directors and the managers who sits behind closed doors and are busy counting their top line of 35% margin. They seem to enjoy seeing their customers cry and it seems like nothing makes them happier than seeing tears in their customers' eyes and smiles on their own faces.

I will again send an email to the general manager of Provincial Homes today, and see what new reactive stories are awaiting for me and I will update this space again soon after.

New Build Home and Granny Flat – We have just completed our build with Provincial Homes and we are happy with the finished home. were handed over. Although there are some aspects of the finish on the home that could of been completed to a better standard the end result is what I would expect for the home building market, especially so considering the constraints on our build over the last 71 weeks due to Covid phase ii, rain and a scarcity of good tradesmen in the domestic home building industry. Steve did a great job in managing this, keeping trades on site as best he could and responding to our queries. The build has gone over program by some 19 weeks but taking into account weather as and lack of trades over the last 36 mths it is understandable, however I was disappointed it took over 6 months to obtain CDC approval once our HIA contract had been signed. I would also say that I found it hard to talk to people at head office when I asked for progress updates on the build and on two occasions found it necessary to escalate in order to have a response to my query. It shouldn't be that way and it is one area that Provincial could improve on. Clients are after all what keeps the whole business spinning around. In Summary. You will get a solid well built home if you chose Provincial, the quality and finish is there to a level that will keep 90% of customers happy but you may have to push out your expectations around customer service response times from head office once that HIA contract is signed. Ask for Steve as your foreman and your more than halfway there to a good build.

Alex was always honest and upfront, and very transparent which were important to us. This is why we were convinced having Alex with us was a very good decision. submitted our sheet August 2019. We have had a small chip in our ceaserstone repaired (January) and some chips in the gyprock spackeled, (December) some paint spots removed and a couple of small things repaired by supervisor (October). We have floor skirting coming off, and a wall in the kitchen is curved. We have mentioned about a loose bannister and sharp join at a corner in the sliding doors which we feel is dangerous, among other problems. During the rain we had a leak in the ceiling of the garage and water coming in the edge of the ceiling in the garage as well, and water coming in the laundry. We sent pics, email and messages, supervisor came out Tuesday and we had to work so our neighbour let him in. We have heard nothing since except not to use the lights in the garage. We are concerned that if we have more rain how much damage can the ceiling take, and what about the electrical as the water’s come in near the lights. Today I waited for the painter who rang nearly 2 weeks ago to make an appointment to come out, no one turned up and despite messaging the supervisor to ask for a number to ring them, his reply was “ok”, no phone number sent to me. We don’t have have a big list so don’t understand the problem with getting something done. We are very disappointed in the handling of these problems. All we want is these problems repaired properly.

build on our block as it was too narrow and would be difficult for trucks to access.

Dishearten I was contemplating an extension/addition (the norm in our area) but really preferred to build new and that’s when I decided to give Provincial Homes at Box Hill a call.

Adam answered and I was amazed by this gentlemen, he didn’t give me the run around or I will call you back. He was straight to the point and direct, asked me to choose what design I wanted and to list what I wanted to modify. Within 3-4 days Adam had already prepared our tender, we are super impressed with his professionalism and momentum. I can’t thank Adam enough for making this initial process so smooth.

No questions were too silly nor was no request too hard to accommodate. As Adam puts it “Nothing is too hard for Provincial Homes”. They have redrawn the plans to suit us on several occasions.

Being novices and our first home build we did have moments of being overwhelmed and confused, but Adam was always there to offer his advice and wisdom to help us choose what is best for our build.

When 5 Stars are not enough!!!! – If you have read my previous review, you would know that this is our second time with Provincial and now we have received hand over of our Shellbourne Design Home and are half way through our maintenance period. and has years of experience and his service is definitely worth 5 Stars.

From frame stage Jack Panozzo took over and wow..... I have not seen this level of service and dedication to his job ever. He is worth Infinity of Stars and what he does to go above and beyond is unbelievable. His communication skills are second to none, eye for detail, management of trades and overall understanding of what is required to be delivered in a build is exceptional.

From when Jack took over he had trades booked in day after day to keep the progress going, yes we where effected by the Covid-19 two week shut down of construction and trades not being allowed out of certain LGA's for a while etc, however Jack managed to source trades, materials and keep the process rolling straight from being allowed back on-site. His communication during this time is testament to his character, he had our interest at heart and did everything he could to make sure our home will be delivered on schedule.

Jack is a enormous asset to Provincial Homes and as they say often your building experience with a builder is as good as your site supervisor that you get. With Jack we could not be happier and like I said if there was an Infinity Star review Jack has definitely earned it.

Also to mention Sharon Tonna, she is the go to for anything during the build, always happy to take your call and follow up anything required in a very timely manner.

Angela at reception always answering the phone with a smile and will put you to whoever you need without hesitation.

As you can tell we have loved our experience second time around and if there is a another time we will be back to Provincial without hesitation.

They gave us a personalised service, where we always knew what was what and who was who, always there to answer questions and help with anything required. They are not a large scale builder where you get pushed from department to department and no one knows who you are or what you are after, Provincial really have their finger on the pulse and treat you like their number one customer.

Thank You Provincial for delivering our outstanding home
