Worth a Read – It was a good experience to deal with people who were attentive to my needs. but the experience overall was pleasant. If I did not understand a situation all it required was a phone call and somebody assisted me. The rate offered is what attracted me when I did my own research after dealing with a broker who was only steering me into a subsidiary of a bank I have had previous experience with that was not a happy experience. After a week of garbage with this broker, I shook them off and explored what was offering out there by myself and was pleasantly surprised to discover your site and the rate offered. On calling your bank, the rate was confirmed, so we proceeded with the application which was confirmed in a few days.
Great local service – The loan application process was explained clearly and questions I had, answered promptly. Being able to speak to someone locally, that was willing to understand my individual circumstances, was a breath of fresh air, and we are saving $300 a month since moving from a "big 4" bank. Terrible customer Service from Bank – I made query to switch my home loans over & register interest to talk to home loan specialist, but got no call back. I submitted a home application & than got contacted my online loan team. Only contact via email with no dedicated contact or name of contact. Terrible service, I will be taking my business elsewhere. Disappointed as an existing customer – As existing customers were found the process frustrating as we were dealt with outside of normal business hours in favour of new clients. Further, our dealings lacked transparency as we were notified after we had signed all of our documentation that our product had changed. The interest rate is very competitive and we have signed a 3 year fixed mortgage so we will not be going anywhere for a while, but if we could break and leave for free, we would. Finally, the contract we signed has a date of first repayment, however we were made to make this first repayment one month earlier, which I still find confusing.

It was very easy! – Joining QCB from one of the "Big 4" banks was like a breath of fresh air. Not only could I email directly with the person handling my account but I could actually pick up the phone and speak directly with the person. Try doing that with a big bank- I wish you luck! Home Loan review – QCB customer service during our loan process was excellent, and we were updated regularly until our loan was approved. We did not account for Stamp Duty, and this was a learning experience for us, thankful we had some extra savings to get us over the line on settlement day.
