My experience with real pet insurance has been a supportive one. They are understanding and their customer service team are outstanding. We LOVE Real Pet Insurance – This pet insurance is the only insurance we pay for that we have actually got something back for. When our dog was young we didn't need to use the insurance but now that he is older, lots of things are covered - it's wonderful! Show details ·  1

Very helpful! Made the application process very easy – Thanks to Josh for making the process very smooth sailing, he was very polite and was happy to answer any questions I had. In terms of the plan only time will tell, being my first pet and my first time getting insurance. Good! – Had an emergency visit to the vet after my dog (insured for 12 years) became lame during our walk. Not sure what happened - insect bite? Did claim by mail, not processed straight away as I had to contact vet again requesting consultation notes. Claim was then processed quickly. Show details ·  1

Quick and easy to claim – We were very satisfied with our last claim. Our 18 month old dog was hospitalised for four nights which wasn't cheap. Once he was home, we submitted the claim to Real and the payment was in our bank within a week. Show details ·  1

Always good service I think – I am not sure that my claim has been finalised. My correspondence said that my claim had been divided into 2 parts. Only 1 part had been finalised as far as I could see. I have been waiting for further correspondence. pre-existing and routine care which it most definitely is Not. Not only has it stumped myself but also our vet who has had to email them consultation notes 3x now to have the claim reviewed. Think twice before changing to them as claiming is extremely difficult and is not quick. **Since writing review claim was reassessed again and claim accepted. Not a pleasent first claim experience but it has been resolved and they now have all of our girls health visits on record, hopefully that makes the next time around abit smoother.
