Great pram! – We bought the Reds baby metro for my daughter from birth and we’ve had it for 14 months now! We absolutely love it, it is really good on tough terrain even while steering with one hand which is really handy when you’re trying to multitask. There’s ample basket space so it’s really handy when shopping. I really liked that it was big enough so… Read more ·  1

that my daughter could grow into it but not so big that it’s huge and chunky. It’s a good size pram.

We also brought black and it still looks new! No peeling on the handles whatsoever. We bought it with a cover set which we just take off and throw in the wash. I guess that helps to keep it looking new. The best part is that its an Australian brand so it makes us happy to support the locals.

The only thing we’ve had to replace are the wheels but we pretty much use this pram everyday! Even that was really easy, we just ordered a new set of wheels online, then popped the old ones off and the new ones on. This was a really good buy and we have absolutely no regrets!

Ticks all the boxes! – We love our Metro2. My partner and I are both around 6ft tall and don’t find the stride too short for us. Love that you can rock the break on and off from the top, the basket and easy fold are what wins it for us though. It goes down and pulls back up so easily and the basket space can easily fit a small shop or two bags. I highly recommend it! Show details ·  1

Perfect pram with a reasonable price! – My wife and I were looking for a pram for our first baby. We read many reviews and asked some friends to give us a recommendation. Some of them mentioned a famous pram brand. We went to a baby shop to try that famous brand but disappointed with the functionality and also the price. It didn't make sense. Then, we heard about Redsbaby brand for… Read more ·  1

the first time on productreview.com.au site. Apparently, they don't sell the pram in common baby stores but they hold a Demo Day (it's free). Honestly, we were a bit skeptical about this brand until we came to their Demo Day to try and see the pram directly. Design check! Functionality check! Assembly check! Price check! We realized that we had fallen in love with the pram on that day.

We bought this Redsbaby Metro 2 pram online with some accessories in December 2019. There was a discount at that time. However, the delivery wasn't quite smooth. The package was sent to Australia Post instead of our home so we have to pick up with a trolley to bringing it home :( Despite of that, we could assemble the pram from the box easily following the manual book.

Our baby was born in January 2020, since then we've been using the pram to many places, most importantly to hospital and clinic. The suspension is awesome, we could tell that because our baby is very calm and sometimes sleep in the bassinet. We also love how easy to pack and unpack the pram as we don't drive a car and mostly go by taxi.

I'd definitely recommend Redsbaby to our friends and colleagues.

Perfect! Best pram I ever had! – Very light weight, comfortable and easy to manoeuvre . I did a lot of research before purchasing and also went to a demo day and couldn’t be happier. I love all the accessories that are available and I decked out my whole pram for a very reasonable price! The clip on the toddler seat is a little sticky but over time I’m sure it’ll loosen up. Squeaky wheels after a long walk in the sun – We bought the Metro2 in March this year and started using after baby was born in June. We first had an issue with delivery. I ordered the green colour and they said it would be delivered a month later. A month had passed and I hadn’t heard from Redsbaby. I had to contact them about my order and they informed me they no longer had the green colour,… Read more

but only the black one. I had to contact them so they would tell me this?? Anyway, we ended up ordering the black one anyway.

After baby was born in June, we started actually using the trolley. We are a couple that loves being outside so we usually have good walks on weekends. We noticed that after a long walk in a hot day, the wheels start to get squeaky. I understand the issue is because the wheels are too tight and after a 20 minute stroll on a hot weather, the hub bolt and wheels support friction causes an expansion increasing the friction even further leading to this squeaky sound.

I contacted Redsbaby who sent me another pair of wheels. However, the same thing still happens. This is a design flaw. I’m contacting them again requesting my money back, and they suggested that I take it to service centre. But as I mentioned to them, the squeaky sound only happens after a long walk in the sun. It’s been more two weeks I wrote back and I haven’t heard since.

I regret buying this trolley!! If you are someone who doesn’t walk much with the trolley, go for it. If not, go with another brand.

Great pram – Love the metro2, easy to push and comfortable for bub. The bassinet was awesome for bub as a newborn, he is a big boy and was in there comfortably until just shy of 4m (nearly reached the ends but was still happy to be there). Love that it has a zipper to allow air circulation. I bought the UV cover and can’t recommend it enough, was great for him… Read more ·  1

as a newborn keeping sun (and people) away particularly with COVID around. It zippers shut so neatly and is easy to access bub with the stretchy end.

He loves the seat and I love the fact it can face me or be forward facing.

Great to walk along paths, grass with. Can be a little bumpy along rough terrain and up gutters etc but not badly so.

Love the look of it and the features, particularly the huge basket, I can fit multiple big shopping bags underneath. Is easily adjustable for height with my 6ft + partner and my 11yo able to adjust to suit.

It folds down easily and is compact when you take the seat off. I tend to fold altogether as is handy to put in the car complete so I can pull it out and set up with one hand.

Beautiful and practical pram. My favourite combination – My Redsbaby Metro 2 is a 2018 model and I have had it for a few months only as I purchased it second hand but in excellent condition. The bassinet is required from birth and can be used for a baby up to 9kg but I think most mums find that they put their baby in the older seat after 3 months. It is beautiful and thoughtfully designed with air… Read more ·  1

ventilation designed at the top of the head and in the canopy, it is very sturdy and it is nice to not have to put a seat belt on the baby. However, the cons I would say is that it is not used for very long and then ends up taking quite a bit of storage space for a while. You also cannot fold the pram with the bassinet, so it will take a bit more boot space. To be honest, I would probably buy one second hand as they are always up for sale because it is used for such a short time and takes up lots of room for storage. Then baby goes into the main seat and is for a child up to 20kg which is awesome as my second side is on the heavier side and at the top of his charts at the age of 4 but he does not need to be in it at all at this age - he is a strong walker - I am just noting the fact that it can take a good size child.

What I love about this pram is: * The canopy and that fact that it comes with the extension hood with the air mesh flow/viewing windows. I really feel this is important for naps when baby is covered by the canopy, airflow is important! I see so many mums cover the baby with a cloth but there is research into how hot this can get in the heat of summer, so please exercise caution when doing this (I confess I do this too). So I think by having the air mesh windows unzipped, it helps the baby get airflow. On a side note, I might compare this to a Bugaboo (Bugaboo being a hugely popular brand with the price tag to fit it). Originally, Bugaboo had terrible canopies that didn't block much of the sun at all and they do not have viewing windows, so if you child is facing frontwards and the canopy is down, you have to walk to the front to check on them. But eventually Bugaboo came out with extension ones and breezy ones (which are extra accessories hence $$$), however I like that the Redsbaby has a decent canopy with those mesh windows as part of its normal package and if you live in a really hot place, you can purchase a airflow kit which is like the breezy canopy as well as a mesh seat for those kids that get really hot in the chair. * I like that the weight is 10.5kg with the seat attached, normally for a full size pram they weigh about 13kg and for my back, I need the lighter one. However, I like to note that it is not as light as my Bugaboo bee (8.5kg) that I personally had and it takes just a little more space in the boot because of the back wheel that stick out (whereas the bee was more slimline when folded). However the Bee is a different style and the Bugaboo fox is more similar to this pram. * The fold of the Metro is good if the seat is forward facing as you can fold it together as 1 piece and you do not have to mess around with pulling the seat off however if it is parent facing, you need to take it apart. Though, some people may prefer that (if they have backache after childbirth or had a caesarean and cannot lift heavy items), so pulling it apart would definitely make lifting less heavy. * I love the storage basket! This might have been the main reason for getting the Metro as I can fit my son's balance bike and probably a foldable scooter when I go to pick up the kids, while the baby is having her afternoon nap in the pram. I then swap the balance bike for two school bags and they go into the basket perfectly. * The other reason I got this pram is because I wanted a walking pram with puncture proof tyres and storage and a seat that was easy to lay back. It performs well on grass and all terrain. While Hubby was a bit sad to see the Phil and Ted Double pram go, which was great for jogging, he would never let me go on grass because there was one time where we went over a lot of grass that had prickles and we had 2 tyres that needed replacing. Also, the double pram was great for storage as we used the second seat for storage instead and that doesn't work if baby needed to lie back for a nap, so that was another reason why we replaced this. * Adjustable handle bar is a bonus, I also love the extra pockets on the back of the seat, you can pop keys and a drink bottle there. * The range of accessories are great, as you can see, I have the winter cocoon on it in the pictures as I took these photos during winter time. I also find the price of the accessories reasonable, for example the cocoon is normally $89.95 retail compared to the Bugaboo which is about $199.95. * Other note, the belly bar has a swivel feature on either side, so easy to just swing to one side to get bub in, but I don't bother doing that. * Has an adjustable leg rest, which is great. * I also like the height of the seat for when your child is older (3+) and they can stand on the foot bar and hop in themselves, it saves my back from having to lift up a child. * So price is a huge factor, this pram retails around $769 new(with bassinet, $649 no bassinet) while the Bugaboo fox is $1350 -$1400 (Very similar) the Bugaboo bee has smaller wheels and is more for city pushing and is priced around ($900) The only negative is that I think you almost always have to pre-order, and if you want it now, that could be a problem and I find that with the brake on a ramp escalator the prams still slides slowly, so I have to hold on. Also sometimes, I haven't released the brake completely and I have to do it again (never had this issue before). On another note I recommend you pick a silver frame as black shows more scratches and they are bound to happen. I also wish the back wheels were more under the pram rather than sticking out to the side (even though that is a common feature), but I find that I run over my 4 year old foot all the time as he stands next to the pram and I also think it would be more slimline when in the boot of a car. So far I have found the quality good, as I am the second owner and we use this nearly every day, the wheels are holding up but I believe there are some people who have gotten a dud but I have heard the customer service at redsbaby are excellent but it can take a while for parts to come in. In comparison, I believe Bugaboo has excellent quality control, and when I had a bee+ for 7 years, the wheels had no marks in it. So, it can be hard to compare but I definitely think Redsbaby give Bugaboo excellent competition. It certainly has more features for a pram and looks lovely, it is also much better price and isn't it good to support an Australian company?!

Looks great, great on flat smooth surfaces – We had our Redsbaby Metro2 for a year before selling and buying a more suitable walking pram. well, which made the pram nearly tip as the front wheels always seemed to get stuck (going up smooth gutters and small bumps) it’s maneuverability on these types of surfaces isn’t the greatest. The pram also does not go too well off road either. Our pram frame also became extremely squeaky in the first few months but this was promptly dealt with by the redsbaby fantastic customer service team. They sent us a new frame and dealt with our enquiry very well. I do however love the look and comfort of this pram.. I love the option of having the seat face toward you or away and also that it lays practically flat - allowing baby to have a comfortable, safe sleep. The fabric is great and so easy to keep clean! We had a light color and it still looked brand new up until the day we sold it. Would recommend this pram if you plan to push it on flat even surfaces, and you want something stylish as this has beautiful finishing touches. The huge basket was a big winner for us too.

Had my pram for over 12 months now and I definitely love the storage underneath and how well it manoeuvres but I do find the pram itself very low apose to other prams Ive seen my friends use. Also it is very heavy to lift in and out of my 4WD which I wish it was a little lighter and less bulky. But overall I do enjoy my pram and love the look of it.

Secondly, the toddler seat foot rest is loose and does not 'click' lock as it is expected to. Quite flabby I would say.
