1 Hubert  · Awful – Paid for a tyre change, guy showed up but couldn’t change the tyre. No refund either, so disappointed.
5 Julie  · Fantastic service – Arrived as per booking; job performed professionally; price competitive. Very satisfied.
5 Ruth  · Quick service – Very pleased with the service. Took 30 minutes to come and got the battery changed quickly
5 Darren  · Quick, best price, competent – Showed up on time, did the job, cost less than anyone else I could find. What more could you ask for?
1 Hasan  · Dodgy premium service – They say unlimited calls & rows but not as they do not cover tow if it comes from same problems. Read their dodgy term & conditions.
5 Win. L  · Saved my day!!!! – Couldn’t be happier with the service, the lady was so helpful and so was the gentleman I was very happy

Roadside Response Wollongong – Adam from the Wollongong branch was amazing, was there within half hour of the call and fixed the car within 10 minutes. He was super friendly and professional.

Ripped off – Paid for service. An hour later call saying no techs available. Wasted an hour waiting. Asked for refund. Told it was immediate. Money not returned. Totally screwed me over.

Worst place ever. If you are really in trouble, don't trust them – My car just breakdown this morning on my way to the work. I have to park my car on the bus lane for safety. After that, I called them at around 10 am this morning. For the 1st phone call, they act to be really nice and helpful. They said they sent someone to check the issue and charge me around $250 immediately. I keep waiting for more than one… Read more

hour with my car on the bus lane until the mechanics come. He just simply checked the battery then go away. He told me that the company will call me again to ask for a tow. However, after he left for 20mins, no one called me. So, I made 23 phone calls before they get back to me. They told me the tow will come within one hour while I have waited until 2pm this after and no one come to save me. They keep asking me to wait with a bunch of excuses like "traffic busy" "school holiday". Finally, a warm-hearted lady saw me and said "why are you still here? I have seen you since this morning". I told her the full story and she called a tow company she know which is "first choice towing". They send the driver to me within 10 mins and help me solve the problem. I don't know why this company can still be on the top list in google search. I will definitely send this and all the evidence to the fair trading. This company needs to be shut down since it is not helping people in a very urgent case. I can't believe how can they still exist and rank as the 1st company in google search. Also, please give my money back right now.

$450 refund immediately – Be aware of these money hogs called [Name Removed] and [Name Removed] which will call each other bosses and make customers fools. They are day light robbers to rip off people's hard earned money in a jiffy. Mostly people call a mobile mechanic in stranded Emergency situations where their take advantage of the customers plight and fleece customers.… Read more

Horrible these people should be snatched off the licence going around looting people's money. Just for a 10 mins job they made a mountain of it and sponged $450 and above all how shameless to call yourself good man ripping off people's money. I need my $450 refunded . I will take this to the NSW Fair trading site if my money is not refunded. As the problem still persists and by taking to the mechanic shop the genuine man said nothing is wrong just a loose connection and fixed it for free. You people need to be sued.

Pack of Scammers – Difficult to even rate them a one. Deliberate misleading scammers. BEWARE!!! They need consumer investigation. Had flat battery in covid queue, was in someone else's car so explicitly asked if they could check NRMA status. They immediately debited $285 from my account. Waited 2 1/2 hours, was shocked to see it wasn't NRMA when they finally… Read more

arrived. When I rang to complain they were rude and on the defensive. Kept saying they would check the recording. I asked for a copy but they said they couldn't supply. They NEVER asked for my permission to record in the first place. When I rang NRMA to inform them of these scammers they said I was the 4th 'victim' that morning they'd had complaints about. So contact NRMA if you are also a victim of Roadside Response so they can build evidence.

Disgusting scammers charged me and never turned up and the website records wrong address by default. Dog trapped in car – The website has a default address in the address bar, despite me allowing location and then imputing my address, which it found on the map, it recorded the default address. I didn't notice this until they billed me, as there was no confirmation on the form actually showing my address. I emailed them twice as soon as I put in the order saying I… Read more

have no reception, please email me (we run a satellite dish for internet). They did try to call me, my message says I have no reception, please send a text. They never did. So they billed me saying the work was carried out with a message underneath: "Full fee applicable due to driver being onsite - No answer on phone" They would full well know that address as it's the default one on their website. They have not replied to any of my emails, not sent a text. I'm driving out when I have a working battery to contact the bank and dispute the amount. The worst part is, my dog was trapped in the car and we couldn't open the boot as there was a cage and ford had kindly not installed an emergency manual release. We did get the dog out, with no thanks to this organisation.

I'm wondering if one of the business owners is at this address. Smells like a scam to me. I am reporting it to scam watch https://www.scamwatch.gov.au/report-a-scam I'm not including the screenshot with my actual address on the map.

Roadside Response - I'd recommend them! – Roadside Response were the most prompt of the 3 providers that I rang. They were able to commit to a installation immediately. They arrived very promptly. They personally followed up (phone call) to ensure that I had received a receipt and warranty via email. In short, they provided excellent, personalised service.

Don't Recommend This Outfit! – Not usually a reviewer, yes they provided the service as required but we have been charged twice. Over two months and multiple phone calls for a refund on the second charge and still nothing! Most expensive tyre change ever at $240 as l was away and couldn't assist my wife.

The absolute worst customer service experience of my life! I wish I could give 0 stars – The absolute worst customer service experience of my life! I wish I could give 0 stars. I had my battery replaced by this company in May 2022. The battery was acting up and I proceeded to be locked out of my car in October 2022. The customer service told me that they could not get someone out to me as I was locked out of my car (caused by their… Read more

faulty battery) and I was outside of Melbourne at the time. I had to get a private locksmith out at a cost of $300 who also jumped my battery. I called back the following week as my battery died again and was told that I needed to go to a mechanic to get the alternator tested (at my own expense). I had little to no information about cars however the battery finally gave in and the RACV needed to be called out. He told me that there was nothing wrong with this alternator and that I was supplied with a faulty battery and it needed to be replaced ASAP. I was away from home, it was late at night and needed to get back home so I had to get RACV to replace it at an additional cost of $295. I called roadside assistance for a refund and they flat out refused even though I had the results from the battery testing (it was literally 0%), I also have the battery available for them to test.

They were awful to deal with, denied any knowledge of me previously calling and advised that they would call me back. They have now refused a refund and only offered to replace the battery (replace a functioning battery from RACV with another battery from a company who provided the previously faulty battery).

DO NOT EVER USE THIS COMPANY, I only wish I had read these reviews prior to using this company!

I think they're a scam – Initially came around because I had a flat battery. Technician dIdn't replace it because he said they were too busy. Charged me $375 for nothing (although later sent someone around to install battery when I noticed the fee and complained). 8 months later the battery is flat. They're not answering their phone at 7:30pm on a weeknight and message directs me to their app, which doesn't seem to exist (website says it's coming soon).

Great quality, good service, good price – I called them for a flat battery in Queanbeyan (just outside of Canberra) and they were fantastic. Good price, great service and excellent quality! They replaced my battery in April 2018 and it only just died! (6 years is great - I have been told that most car batteries only last 3-4). Very impressed.

This is not NRMA and bad service – I googled NRMA roadside assistance for my overheated car engine and this company pop up, in the rush of the situation I rang them and provided my NRMA membership number, they say nothing except saying that if coolan need fill up then it will cost $140, and asked for bank card. They turned up and fill water in coolan as they don’t have any coolan… Read more

with them, despite I told them my car model when rang them. Then they charged 140$. Lessons learned, always check and view the review before make call.

Pathetic company – Don’t use these clowns. All we needed was a jumpstart and check if we needed a new battery. We were told the call out fee which we noticed came out straight after the phone call without an invoice. We ended up needing a new battery which we were told would be a standard battery therefore cheaper than the quoted price. The guy couldn’t fit the… Read more

battery for an hour. Came back the next morning (Saturday)with materials to fit the battery properly(even though he told me it was right to drive). He told us we would get a call about price. Due to the money being taken out for the call-out without an invoice we moved all but $100 to our savings account so we could make sure they didn’t charge extra. On Monday we got a call saying we haven’t paid. 5 minutes later they started taking out $10 at a time from our account until it was empty. Called them up and they told us they attempted to call multiple time(they called once) and they would talk to their accounts team because they should not do that with the payments. I then put the remaining $70 in my account and was told they can transfer the rest when an invoice has been sent. The girl on the phone was the same one who called us on the Friday and the one we had a missed call from so she clearly lied about them trying to contact us and just said it was the accounts team that she needed to talk to about their job being done right when it was her calling and lying about calling multiple times. She then took the further $70 within 10 seconds of me saying “yes once I’ve received and invoice”. Clearly the same person who was taking $10 at a time. Absolute joke of a business. Extremely untrustworthy. I’d rather pay double to another company who can be even the slightest bit professional.

AVOID!!Horrible experience , staff member aggressive- got ripped off and no service provided- was mislead about fees – Really horrible experience , Paid $110 to get a jump start or new battery (would pay additionally if needed battery) and they called 10 mins later to say drivers didn’t have a battery and ETA has increased to 2 hours- I contemplated for 10 mins- i call back to cancel as I want a battery not a jump start but no answer, I tried the after hours… Read more

number and no one answered, - I decided to get the service I actually need from someone else - called this Morning and the customer service lady said I never called back which was really rude -she was aggressive and continuously spoke over me and hung up on me, really rattled by the experience of aggression. She said the $110 was a call out fee , to which I was told it was for a jump start and to check last night recorded phone call. I asked to make a complaint and I was eventually hung up on, she didn’t even let me make a complaint - really disturbed by the way customer service rep handled this and would never recommend or use this company again purely for the way I was spoken too on the phone. I asked for a manager and she said she was one which is concerning. I’m a sales manager and I would never speak to someone they way she spoke to me. I paid $110 and I got a call back saying there are no batteries. So now I would have to pay for a jump start AND a new battery the next day ? That’s ridiculous! Business says it’s 24/7 but can’t contact anyone after 6pm. If I could get through this could have been avoided. Being abused by customer service also add insult to injury.

Make sure you call the RIGHT company! – Roadside Response is not NRMA! I googled NRMA as I am a member, Roadside Response's phone number pop-up and I did not notice about it at 7pm during the rain with my boy. A new battery was put in my car by Roadside Response with charged $285. Eighteen months later the battery failed, rang NRMA this time, the battery was jumped start and been told… Read more

to monitor it. A month later, my car did not start again! Rang NRMA again with the test result "Replace Battery", but considering the battery is still in the warranty, called Roadside Response and asked for technician's checking, the result is normal. If you want to change battery, you need to pay.

I am not the professional, I do not know what happened for the car, just want to share my experience with everyone and reminder you to call the RIGHT company, to call the company you want, to avoid hassles.
