Robert Timms Espresso Questions & Answers
Are your Coffee Bags Compostable? Cheers.
Hey, I just wanted to know what material is used to make the coffee bags? Is this plastic or any other poly thermal material?
I would like to know the same thing actually. But looking into comments made from 3 years ago until recently I can't see any response from Robert Timms which is a bit dissapointing. And it does not reflect a sense of trust between the customer and manufacturer.
I have had a one line reply from the company Robert Timms on 4 January 2023 “Our coffee bag is a combination of polyethylene terephthalate (PET), polypropylene (PP) and paper”.
100% PLASTIC. I just tested an emptied one over a naked flame, toxic black smoke, burns up into a hard ball, definitely plastic. Very disappointing as I love the coffee but will be cutting them open now and brewing through my paper coffee filter bags and then no longer buying RT
Why does robert timms coffee does not mix well with soy milk. I notice that every time I use Robert Timms coffee with my soy milk there is a separation ; there is sort of gunk at the bottom and it does not mix well; I know the milk has not expired so what is the reason.
As I learnt recently, different "milks" work best with a Darker roast, lighter roasts are more acidic and will curdle various other milk types
How is Robert Tim’s decaffeinated coffee eliminate chemicals?
Hi.. I am a many year user of your Mocha Kenya instant coffee sealed individually wrapped 28 box.. My Issue is are these GF/DF & Plastic free as I am having Bowel Problems from constant 4-5 cups a day over 5 years? Just need to rule this out or swap to granulated in a glass jar if Health at risk due to plastics ect. I use GF/DF & Yeast free products and have black coffee.
I can only suggest you go to the Robert Timms AU web site: external link and scroll to the bottom of the page. There you will find a 'contact us' tab, where you can complete a form to ask them your question. Please share any reply you receive.
lynshere ... There IS plastic in Robert Timms coffee bags, and a nasty plastic at that! There is a most unpleasant aftertaste. I had two cups of coffee and felt nauseous. I would suggest you do not drink it ever again to protect your self from further harm.
