It's the last what you think about when own it. Half year we had water with strong smell of plastic from the kettle. After that, the kettle started turning off randomly. Today, my husband found it flooding with the base in water cos it started licking from the water level panel.The worst jug we'd ever had! We 'enjoyed' it for 11 months just for NZ$90 on Xmas sale.

I found SOGA electric kettle is made from food quality 18/10 stainless steel and is not made with aluminum
