I just bought the Russell Hobbs Addison Digital Kettle RHK510 a couple days ago. Is it bpa free? I don't find anywhere specifying this part.

Hi I just bought a RNK152 Russell Hobbs kettle . I was wondering if all the it’s inside elements are BPA free even the lid. Thank you for your response in advance.

I have owned my Russell Hobbs Heritage Red Kettle for 3 years, first the black on the lid started to disintegrate, rang the company no problem new lid was sent out, now it is leaking from the base of the handle. So disappointed as I loved the colour. After many years of owning my previous kettle I would have thought this one would at least last a few more years. I wonder why it has been discontinued!

Is the Russell Hobbs Colour Control kettle bpa free?

Yes it is a compact kettle built with durable BPA free thermal shock resistant.

Hope that helps you

To be honest, I am not sure, I thought BPA was only used in plastics?

My kettle leaves a "plastic" taste to any hot drink. At first we switched coffee brands, however it has continued to do it.

It tastes toxic. Prior to first use instructions were all followed after purchasing. VERY DISAPPOINTED.

It is only a few months old. Is there anything I can do to stop this, or is it faulty?

Hi Leanne I would say it's faulty as mine never did that at all.

I just filled it once boiled the water, tipped it all out and refilled it to use.

I would take it back if it was me. Hope that helps
