Britax Safe-n-Sound Maxi Rider V5 Questions & Answers
Verifiedl would love to have some advise on a comfortable car seat for my two and a half year old little girl , that suits a smaller 2 door car thanks?
Hi Joy, thanks for your question. We would recommend that you look at the new Maxi Guard SICT which is suitable for children from approx. 6mths to 8yrs fully harnessed. Here is a link to the product page which will give you all the features and if you click on the dimensions tab you can get the produsts dimension - external link we would also recommend that you visit your local baby store and try the seat in your vehicle to ensure that it's suitable for your families need, thanks, Britax Team.
I can only find pictures of this car seat in toddler mode. How does it work with the lap sash seatbelt - is there a guide for this to go through. Also some have mentioned the anti-submarine clip; how does this work and are there any pictures of this? Thanks
Hi Jo, thanks for your question. Attached is a link to the instruction manual which should ask all your question however if you would like to talk to us about this seat please give us a call on 1300 303 330, thanks, Britax Team.

I have a 4 1/2 yr old daughter who has one of these seats. She is bigger then your average 4 year old. I'm wondering if she should be in something different? Can you use these seats with a normal seatbelt?
Hi Stacey.kerridge, thanks for your enquiry the Maxi Rider is a convertible car seat so the inbuilt harness can be used up until 18kg's and then you can use the seat in booster mode. In booster mode you can either use your vehicle lap/sash seat belt or you can purchase a child safety harness such as the Protecta Plus harness. The overall weight limit for the seat is 26kg's please feel free to call our customer service team on 1300 303 330 if you would like to discuss your query further, kind regards the Britax team
