When I do call recording the phone only records my voice but not the person I am talking to. I have tried different apps but no change. What is wrong?

Check which recording mode you have put, standard, interview or speech to text. You can go onto samsung galaxy australia go to - using the screen recorder on my samsung and follow the step by step directions. Hope this helps.

Have been reviewing possible mobile phones over the past few days in price range $200-$350. Had decided on Samsung Galaxy A12 (for $299). Then I read these reviews and now looking at other brands. What surprises me is the "silence" from Samsung or other members is deafening. If I had purchased this phone then I would have taken these issues up with retailer and/or Samsung within the warranty period. What has Samsung or other members got to say about this?

Basically, the phone is good! However, one missing component that at this stage of play with these phones is NFC (Near Field Communication) is missing. This would enable credit card payments etc. to be done using the phone.

Thanks David - yes I noticed that NFC was missing, yet some in this price range have it. However this does not bother me - the less "active" financial apps or features I have on my phone the more secure I feel.
