Does My A23 work on 5G network?

Hey Richard, if you own the A235G variant, only then would you be able to work on 5G. There is the 4G variant that does not go above 4G.

Why does it not have NFC???? I thought I was 'upgrading' from my S20 without massive cost. I thought A23 looked good and have just spent hours setting up after it arrived to find it doesn't have NFC!!! This should be a warning on the purchase as this is a normal part of life now. IM SO ANGRY

Hey Shell, the S range is our premium line and our A series range are devices built for the general consumer who isn't looking to spend too much but still get a premium experience. I am sorry you weren't advised of this. I do recommend always going through specifications of any device you wish to purchase in the future.

Hi Mike, Checking specs would have done no good as I wouldn't have know what I was looking for. 3 years ago I remember having to turn a function on when I downloaded the wallet but I didn't know what it was. I only know now because I had to investigate why I couldn't use my credit card on my phone. With the now almost cashless society I would say NFC readers would be a basic phone function. Get rid of the stupid finger print scanner and put one in. Even Oppo and Motorola's have the NFC function. Think it's time to re think what you think is premium vs basic. Thanks Shelley
