I have a note 5, problems loosing connection, people can't hear me when I call. returned to Samsung x3 times, they say can't find a problem, therefore can't fix. They refuse to replace or refund. I have had it brand new since 30th July

2017. Where can I go for help? I'm on a pension with a disability, so unable to just get another phone. Thanks.

Hi Margie, I also own a Galaxy Note 5 and have heard of other users experiencing this issue. I think the best course of action would be a hard reset if you haven't already tried. This will reset your phone back to the way it was when you first purchased. So it will remove all photos, contacts etc. So it's best to back them up or save them to a pc.

Hard resets are incredibly easy to do and should fix most issues you have. Google how to hard reset Galaxy note 5 and take it from there. Your phone should be back to working order in no time.

A hard reset may work but also who is your provider? Approach them as well to determine if it is a coverage issue. Try a friends sim card with a different provider, do you still have the issues with some other network? If so it is still under warranty so return to place of purchase & request a replacement. Start putting something in writing regarding the previous visits for repairs & any further requests should you need to approach consumer affairs/fair trading in your state.

Thanks so much . Before the Note 5, I was using a Sumsang Core Prime, with providers Vodaphone and Telstra, and not a single issue, I'm still with Telstra, have taken the phone into them to their tec guy, checked it out, and it seemed to be o.k. As soon as I got home, the same problems started again. I have kept a record of phone calls and reports returned with the phone from Samsung. I did phone the place I got the phone from, they told me to phone Samsung, as I had a two year warranty with them. I will try the hard reset and friend's sim card etc. Once again, many thanks.
