Rubbish. Yes, we have experienced the same decline across the range. First the original turned to mush. We swapped to multi grain. Same experience. Now that is less dense, fewer ingredients. Bye Sanitarium. Were walking away for good. Show details

Whilst I love the Weet-Bix product, I have been increasingly frustrated with their products structure and durability. It should be now called Weet-Crumbs as the "bix" just falls apart and when the packet is opened at home after a purchase, it has about 10% of its total in crumbs (all at the bottom of the packet). Never mind the "bix" size also… Read more
shrinking (but not the price). This is a drop in product standards which Sanitarium should be ashamed of. The attached photo when enlarged shows the crumbs at the bottom of the bag.
Weakbix – What has happened to Weetbix? The bix have no structural integrity anymore, to the point where the box is mostly Weetflakes. Please Sanitarium, use the power of prayer and the savings from your tax-exempt status to fix the bix! Show details
Recipe has changed – I have been eatig wheatbix for over 50 years. The latest box of wheatbix I bought yesterday seemd to have the texture of sand and taste different. The price has also gone up and the nutritional values are different than last packet. Something has changed for the worse and if next box is the same I just won't buy them again. Not nice and enjoyable to eat now Show details
Weetbix has changed and is a very inferior product – Wow weetbix. I can't believe you would do this to your iconic Australian product. I have been a "weet-bix kid" all my life - and it has been a staple in our house as long as I can remember. For the first time ever I can going to boycott your product and change to the competitor's brand. Weetbix has changes - please don't tell us otherwise because… Read more
we can tell the difference. It goes soggy within seconds of putting milk on and is very unpleasant to eat. The biscuits are definitely less dense than they used to be. The other evidence for this is that the biscuits break easilyy and disintegrate in the bag - by the time you get to the end of the packet you are left with a large bag of crumbs that you have to throw out because it is inedible mush. What a massive disappointment.
Quantity of Biscuits per box – Last Fortnight I purchased a 375g box of Original Weet-Bix - I've noticed on the serving panel it states there are 12 servings (2 biscuits) per serve however inside the box there are only 22 biscuits equating to only 11 serves. Is this a blatant rip-off to the public or what.... I purchased this size box as I don't usually buy them anymore but wanted to try them again because I could. Show details

I Love Weetbix. Til Death Do Us Part, ha ha – I've Been Eating Weetbix Since 1987 & I Can Tell You This. They Are Still My Favourite Breakfast. I Love Weetbix. And BTW The Weetbix Slippers Are A Grade 10 Star To Go With Your Awesome A Grade 10 Star Weetbix. Mind Blown At The Quality Of The Slippers. Where Can I Buy More. And Bring Back The Weetbix Tins. Lol. Love You Weetbix Until Death Do Us Part Show reply
Great as breakfast or snack – Weetbix is high in fibre and iron so it's a healthy option as both breakfast and snack. However, this tastes bland but that's because it's mostly wheat (although there is some sugar in there but definitely not as much compared to other breakfast cereals).
A healthy food – I like eating healthy and I eat a bowl of weetbix with milk and bluberries for breakfast. But my only worry is, I think I am not absorbing the iron in weetbix because of the milk and berries. Any better options?

Sanitarium has changed something in the Weet Bix recipe. This has happened some time back. Now taste terrible, smells of chemical and taste of chemical. I was getting sick in the gut for no apparent reason but by accident finished off a packet of other company breakfast food and back to healthy so stuck with it but thought I would try Weet Bix… Read more
again and same problem. My advice to customer because Sanitarium are in denial, is to NOT by any Sanitarium product. Tell your friends any body else who will listen to do the same. Sanitarium need to be open and honest about the fact that they have created a problem and fix it

Wheat flakes – Wheat box an Australian icon has changed it something in how they make it. Now they crumble and fall apart before you can get them out of the box. Should be called wheat flakes. Show details

without a doubt, this is my partners favourite breakfast and a very simple one! All you need to do is add milk and optional sugar for a filling meal. Sometimes I add summer fruit ontop for a tangy twist. You can't get more aussie than a bowl of Weet Bix! Show details
Weat Bix not the same anymore – I have been eating weatbix everyday for the last 50years and I am so disappointed with the texture now. They flake and fall apart even before you take them out of the packet. Horrible to eat and they don’t soak up the milk anymore. I used to have them as a snack with butter and jam spread on them but it is impossible to do that now. Shame on… Read more
Sanitarium for changing the receipe. I will no longer be buying these and nor will many of my friends who are complaining about the same thing.

Disintegrating weetbix – A crumbled mess at the bottom of the containers and broken Weetbix throughout. Because of this I have now resorted to buying Woolworths own brand. Very disappointing after buying Weetbix for over 50 years for my husband children and now grandchildren. The quality now has led me to no longer being a Sanitarium customer. Show details

Dissapointing – Lying to your customers will not improve your sales Sanitarium. People like myself who have been eating Weet Bix for decades clearly notice the lack of integrity in your current product. If you have not changed the formula then why are so many turning away from your product? I'm done with a company that refuses to be open and honest with it's customers. Show details
Weet-Bits more like it – All previous comments are spot on. I’m lucky to pull one out of the box which hasn’t already fallen apart. In fact, when I open it each morning I can literally see them falling apart right in front of my eyes. However, the flavour still seems to be there so I guess that’s something. Show details

Falling Apart! – I used to look forward to my Weet-bix and honey in the morning. Recently I have found it to be so crumbly and falling apart as soon as I take it out of the box. We are a family of 4 and we have all noticed we need to eat an extra one since it has changed. I am fed up of paying for air, so we are going to try Aldi's own brand! Show details
Weet-Crumbs – Extremely disappointed. We're in our 70s and used to eat Weet Bix like biscuits with butter and honey, not any more, it's a battle to get them out of the packet in one piece. We're changing to Aldi, as are many of your customers. Your solution is.....more product, more compression. It wasn't broken why try to "fix" it? Show details

WEET BIX FALLING APART – I am 64 have been eating original weetbix for at least 50 years, for the company to say nothing has changed is bollocks. The last 6 -12 months the structure of the product has deteriated considerably, at first I put it down to rough transporting but it is consistent the bricks fall apart add milk and they get worse. At the bottom of the box there… Read more
is a crumbled mess enough to feed a large dog.
Just BULL by the company to say nothing has changed. I can't say I have noticed any tast difference. I suspect if each brick is not compressed as much less goes into each brick making it not as stable and enables it to fall apart, and as a bonus they get less product has to go into a box and that just makes for more profit. This is just my thoughts.

Poor quality control – Agree with prior comments. I have been eating Weetbix for 70years now & the last 6/12 months the quality has fallen drastically. They fall apart, are dry, sometimes only 1/2 a biscuit in space of one. All in all very poor quality control evident. They should be ashamed. Show details
Dry, crumbly biscuits – Sanitarium have said that nothing has changed with their Weet-bix. I believe that to be wrong. We have eaten Weet-bix for over 30 years and in the last 12 months there has definitely been a change; not the flavour so much, but the biscuit itself. It is dry and crumbly and breaks up even before you get it to your bowl. After sending in a comment to… Read more
Sanitarium, they said that they heven't changed anything and sent me a $20 voucher for Coles or Woolworths. I truly believe someone is doing something wrong. FIX IT PLEASE Sanitarium.

Great product, just be mindful of advertisements in developing countries – I have noticed the packaging in Fiji has all the sevens rugby players and how much weet bix they have eaten. With all due respect, most of these players probably never ate weet bix growing up and most of them even don’t eat it today. Jerry Tuwai once said in his interview that he came from a squat settlement and didn’t have basic necessities of… Read more
life. I understand it is advertisement but there might be a lot of young children loading up on weet bix with the dream that they will become great rugby players by eating this product. There are kids who can’t afford this product in Fiji. As stated on the box “The dream of pulling the white jersey.”
Demeaning advertising – Such a good product with such a poor television advert that demeans a young boy with its condescending presentation relative to the supposed superstar girl. Sexism cuts both ways. Show details
Something is not right – The past couple boxes have been crumby even with a good expiry date but I’m starting to notice my weetbix is a bit tasteless, I only have it with milk no sugar no yoghurt. I’ve been eating weetbix since I was a toddler I’m going on 40. I think I’d know something was wrong the recipe.
Why Not Consistent In Quality ? – Hello Sir, We as a family have never thought of any other breakfast other than Weetbix for the past 30 years. But lately I have found the Weetbix not baked or cooked to the right temperature for achieving the brown appearance, taste and crispness. Definitely in the production the settings are adjusted oftenly and there is no consistency. Weetbix… Read more
has been close to our heart and would like to remain for years to come. Hence requesting for a stricter check of quality. Just for you to get the feel - Try Aldi brand and your Weetbix resembled that, with less cooking or baking.
Pay some tax – I actually don't mind the product as food however, I'm continually sceptical of companies getting around tax law via the religious organisation route. Maybe the profits go back to the community? I work for a company that does huge things for the community - we still pay our taxes.
I’ll not be buying them again..!!! – Ok. Got through one packet. Just, pretty hard as taste was not right. Bought another box and same taste and texture. Therefore I’ll not waste my hard earned money on inferior rubbish.
