I had an issue and they sorted it out
I was given the wrong information regarding a component from their technician however they went out of their way to resolve the issue quickly.
Very helpful and responsive service.

Catastrophic service, would never recommend or do business with Scorptec
I have ordered Samsung G7 32 inch monitor and picked up at the same day from South Melbourne store yesterday afternoon as I urgently needed a replacement.
Right after I got back home and open the box, I found the screen is actually faulty, I even kept the power adaptors cables etc. sealed and untouched, see attached below.
And then drove back to South Mel store first thing in the morning, hoped that I can easily change or get refunded.
Sadly the staff said: Oh we have to send it back to Samsung for assessment balabala, we are simply just a ret...
Excellent! Great experience. Helpful and understanding when I ordered the wrong item.
Excellent! Made an online order and ordered wrong item. The team at Macquarie Park were exceptional and made the process easy with great communication. Was able to assist in rectifying my mistake quickly and clearly. Now have my new monitor and couldn't be happier. Thanks to all that helped. Definitely recommend.
Scared and peeking out the blinds
Paranoid idiots still havnt opened their store doors to walk in customers in Clayton whilst the rest of the state is back open. Absolutely rediculous locking down their own store when the state lockdown has ended. Lost a customer for life. Click and collect only so dont waste your time driving there expecting to walk in the door, you know, like every other business not under lockdown... Keep hiding under your bed...
Good Customer Service
Went in to return damaged Motherboard I received. Claiming online took overnight. When I went in person, they were happy to replace the motherboard with another model as the one I was returning was no longer in stock. I was panicking and couldn't make up my mind on a different motherboard and made a few mistakes but the staff at Macquarie Park Scorptec where helpful and patient with me. Probably the quickest warranty claim I have ever had during COVID.
Disappointed and poor customer service
Bought a laptop from Rowville Scorptec on May 2021. The laptop was not responding for the basic application such as Ms word and zoom. Before I purchased the laptop I explained my purpose and requirements to the staff and he suggested Asus $829. After purchased , within a week the laptop was not functioning properly and couldn’t connect to the internet and not even responded for the basic applications. So I returned the laptop and request for the replacement or return my money back. It’s still under warranty. The technician was so rude and no...t responding my email and phone calls. For 3 months I have been waiting and this issue hasn’t been resolved. I rely on my laptop for online study and work. I have explained my situation via email and no one responding. I am totally disappointed.

misleading listing, refuse return requests, very rude and Irresponsible customer service
bought a graphic card from their online store, just realized that it's a new release of 30 series card, ( it has new PCI Device ID) , they didn't state that in the description and they refused my return request, the staffs in their store are very rude, just don't care you if you got any problem
Excellent Staff . Custom Built PC a work in progress for a novice, Overall mostly satisfied. Glad I gave it a go.
Customer Service of in store Clayton Melbourne is 5 out of 5 stars. Each guy that served me was respectful and patient with my request. Friendly and Informative.
Originally I built a custom made PC from the online store, that went terribly from a communication stand point. The staff that finalized my order failed to read my notes and requests for the build, overlooking vital components and requirements for the system. I asked for a USB-C component on the motherboard, an additional sound card and a CD drive which were missing.
Upon picking u...p the system, I discovered these faults and had the PC returned and corrected. The staff at the Clayton store were understanding and made adjustments. The second time I picked up the PC I had a few issues with the system, but resolved most of them talking to their tec. However these was now an issue with the USB C adapter, and I had to take in my system AGAIN to resolve. They ended up giving me an alternate solution, but it looks in order to resolve my USB - C connection, I'll require another motherboard upgrade.
Most rude and condescending staff I've had to deal with in a long time
The staff act rude and condescending to anyone who doesn't know as much about taking apart computers as they do. Which is paradoxical because if we did know how to do these things, we wouldn't be paying them to do it for us in the first place... if you aren't some sort of computer genius and want to be treated with the slightest shred of dignity and respect, I strongly suggest shopping elsewhere.
Unsuitable Monitor (42.5inch), no refunds or exchanges
I recently purchased (24/12/2020) a Dell U4320Q monitor (Purchase Order Number: 1648631, paying $1,379) and am experiencing viewing issues surrounding the edges of the monitor simply due to the sizing of the monitor (42.5 inches). The viewing angle is too extreme when it comes the screen's edges and subsequently fades. At the time of purchase, I was unable to view a display model; the Clayton Scorptec store does not keep displays, however the sales assistant at the time assured me that the edges would not be an issue. I raised an enquiry with S...corptec yesterday (Rachel in Warranty Dept) regarding getting an exchange and was told that an exchange or refund was not possible at all citing policy. The policy however was in regards to restocking fees. When questioned about this point, Rachel made up her own policy saying “it refers to non-damaged products as well”, basically making up whatever policy suited her on the go in order to avoid refunds and exchanges. Do not buy from this company because you will not be able to return the product (even if hasn’t been opened). You will get a limited email response from the team with made up reasons, and you will find it impossible to get through on the phones. If you do visit in store, the sales team just redirects you back to email and phone lines. Scorptec is terrible!!! You will be buying a headache if you purchase with them!
Worst customer service
Worst customer service I have ever experienced. They fill their stores with uni students who might genius geeks but couldn't relate on a human level if they tried. All they want is your money and once they have it good luck getting any tech support

I purchased an expensive monitor from the Clayton store and picked it up in person. In hindsight I should have inspected the box carefully but I was in a hurry and having dealt with this company for almost two decades I did not expect to be deceived. I paid for a new monitor but got a repackaged one instead. The box was not factory sealed but taped shut with packing tape. When I unpacked the monitor I noticed that the internal packing materials were loosely wrapped around the monitor. It would appear that I was supplied a refurbished or demonst...rator model. This was not revealed at the time of sale and is frankly a disgrace. The only positive is that the monitor is working well. However, if it has had extensive use prior to my purchase it may have a reduced life. Having read other reviews it seems that I am not the only one to have issues with Scorptec. Buyers be warned this company has a zero care factor after they have your money.
I used to tell people how good Scorptec are , now all i can say to them is that they are the worst of the worst in the industry . They treat their loyal customers like nothing when it comes to making themselves happy . I got a RMA card from them after MSI approved a faulty graphics card claim and it was scratched! They pocketed the money from MSI and gave me a USED card . Ontop of that they pretended to help fix my girlfriends PC and then stole it from her and claimed the original buyer charged back even though we had a written receipt and own...ership of the item. trust me this place is BAD , go buy from Centercom instead. The manager on duty dealing with the situation was [name removed], he is very incompetent, unprofessional. [Potentially defamatory material removed]
I'm starting to wonder if Scorptec is an elaborate scam
I visited a physical store two weeks ago and handed over $2000 with a promise that my computer would be ready for collection within 4 or 5 days and they would email me. After hearing nothing, I contacted them and was told that there were delays and it would take another week. After another week had gone by with hearing nothing, I rang again. Now I'm told that one of the computer components I need is out of stock and there is no ETA on its arrival.
In other words, Scorptec has taken my money but has given me no indication whatsoever about wheth...
Quick and easy
Their website could use a facelift, but other than that I have nothing bad to say about these guys. I ordered my stuff online then drove down to the store and picked them up a day or two later. Lots of products, quick service, all round good.
Questions & Answers
Hi scorpion, was asking how a store pickup will work? If I buy my good online how long will it it take to be delivered to your store? How will I pick it up? If I pickup my good form the store (after click and collect) do I qualify for the spin and win?
Hi Declan, if you place and pay for your order through our website our system should notify you if there is any stock that needs to be delivered to the store. If the stock is available locally this generally takes 1-2 business days, and you will be notified of the expected time frames once the order is processed.
When picking up your order you just need to give one of our sales team your order number or account information and present some government issued photo ID for verification. All orders picked up at our Macquarie Park that are over $100 in value qualify for the spin and win.
