you are told the company is under administration. This to me seems a deceptive practice. They should make it obvious on their home page, before you buy anything, that they have gone into administration.

interstate and living in various parts of Australia, I continued to recommend their jewellery to clients, based on the trust and goodwill built during those early years.

Recently, I placed a custom order and have since learned that the business has gone into voluntary administration. As a result, I am now facing the loss of several hundred dollars.

I find this extremely disappointing and, in my view, unethical. Particularly given the loyalty and promotion that helped support the brand’s growth. Customers placing orders were not adequately protected or warned, and it is upsetting to see long term supporters left out of pocket.

I hope this review serves as a caution to others and encourages greater accountability for customers affected by this situation.

The most disappointing aspect was placing a second order before receiving my original custom order or being aware of the voluntary administration, only to discover that the company is still operating and accepting new orders while failing to fulfil existing ones. I became aware of this only after placing the second order. I would appreciate a follow up response and would be happy to amend my review if the situation can be resolved.

have spent more time away from my engagement ring than I have with it.

As if that wasn't bad enough, my wedding band has lost a stone FOR A SECOND TIME NOW (owned for less than 7 months) – a serious issue for something that is supposed to last a lifetime. Every time I’ve returned to the store for repairs, I’m left with nothing but poor service and frustration.

I have been incredibly patient but after multiple repairs, these rings are still of poor quality, and it’s clear this company doesn't stand behind their products or care about their customers. My experience with their customer service has been appalling – they failed to offer a lasting solution, leaving me stuck with faulty products. I demand a refund for these faulty products and I suggest staying away from this company.

If you're looking for quality jewellery and a brand that actually values its customers, do NOT waste your time or money here.

until April this year to have my rings replaced/repaired due to poor quality. I was told that they have so many returns/repairs that just goes to show there is a quality issue. I had to reach out every step of the way to get things moving. You don’t answer your phone, leaving a message telling people the best way to contact is an email but then you never respond to them either. In the end I was flat out lied to which should never happen. It took 21 days to post out 2 rings. I was told they were coming from different stores and Australia Post was the issue with both, what a coincidence. Only to finally receive my package containing both rings from the same store. My sister also had issue and she was told she was speaking to the Queensland Manager, who advised rather than repair a ring under warranty it would be easier to just give 30% off a new piece. Save your money and spend it somewhere they actually take pride in their product and service.

Would give 0 stars if I could. Similar experience to other reviews - I have purchased 3 rings from Secrets, and ALL 3 of them have had the stones fall out within weeks. As I was picking up one ring that cost me money to have the stone replaced - even though they apparently come with a life warranty, my other ring had a stone fall out and the main stone was loose within 2 weeks of purchasing. I returned the ring and asked for a refund, they refused and said it would be sent away - then weeks and weeks later, they come back and said the ring was bent and I caused the stone to fall out!! I wear this ring occasionally to work and that is it, and I would expect any ring to last longer than a few weeks. I too had a horrible frustrating experience with [Name Removed] from online sales who was so unsympathetic and accused me bending the ring, it was the most frustrating and stressful experience, that is still ongoing. I have a docket to show the ring was not bent before they took it away for weeks, and apparently it was wear and tear that the stone fell out after a few weeks of purchase. She was accusing, and said i did the damage. They want me to pay half the cost of the entire ring to have the stone replaced - again, the ring was only 7 weeks old!! I get the same response, generic and uncaring, and I keep escalating this and asking a manager to contact me, but I get the same uncaring [Name Removed] with her patronizing generic email saying it was wear and tear and to pay them more money to fix it...why would I pay half the cost of the ring to fix a ring that cannot withstand a few weeks of wear, without the stone falling out? Your lack of empathy and compassion is quite disgusting, the fact that you had trouble working out what ring i was talking about shows just how many you have there returned - 2 of them being mine!!! I will be taking this further, and am still waiting for someone from management to contact me with a solution.

I was absolutely furious as I did not even take them out of the box I didnt need to as I could see when I opened the box they were far to tiny, so they could have already been bent when they were sent to me I wouldnt have know due to not taking them out of the box. Waste of time and money – Having several items from a store I ordered another online. When it didn’t fit I was told to find a store to exchange (and get fitting size right), went to a store who couldn’t exchange it because it was “damaged” despite never being worn. Store manager told me this happens constantly when people buy online and recommended I never do so again - good advice as it turns out as trying to resolve with store was a complete waste of time and effort.

condition. I contacted Secrets and sent it back to them for an assessment. To my utter disgust, the assessment came back laying the blame solely on me and NOT once would they admit that perhaps the loss of diamonds were due to the bad quality and poor workmanship of the ring!! I was therefore refused any compensation or repair work on the ring. This is NOT the first time this has happened, i had a previous ring which had lost a few diamonds and sent it back for repair not once but twice and to this day the ring has yet again lost more diamonds and am unable to wear this ring ever again.!! I have learnt my lesson and refuse to buy from Secrets EVER again, they are an absolute waste of money, and their organisation is completely unaccountable! From now on I will be saving my pennies and buying the real thing which should last an eternity!!! You would probably get a better quality ring from a toy vending machine then one from Secrets any day!!!

had lost one of them. I had no idea where I had lost but we had our own pool and my partner saw the earring shining so we found it and a day later Found the back and yet again it had broken in half. There jewellery is lovely and not cheap but they are buying cheap backs and it would have been no fault of mine if I had lost the earring but again they are not cheap. you're looking at $1,000 for the same thing it's really deflating. Michael Hill has offered the same products with some only increasing by $100 for REAL diamonds. Can I also ask, what's with the sales of "Save 20%" ....."ends tonight" it'll be back, they only ever have 20% off, all year round - maybe that explains the price hike. Increase by 30%-40% offer savings of 20% hahaha
