I would give Seniors Pet Insurance a 0/5 if I could. While it’s easy enough to register and start paying premiums, the experience completely falls apart when you actually need to lodge a claim. The online portal is incredibly outdated, full of glitches, and does not function seamlessly at all. I had to call twice just to complete the sign-up… Read more
process, and then had to call again to lodge a claim because the online system simply didn’t work properly. Basic functions either failed, froze, or didn’t process correctly. This is extremely frustrating—especially when you’re already dealing with the stress of a pet needing care. The whole purpose of having insurance is ease and support in those moments, not added complications. Overall, a very poor digital experience that reflects badly on the company. I would not recommend based on this alone.

Perfectly suited for my Senior Dog Max at 11 and there $2.90 cheaper than RSPCA for the exact same thing. After calling 15 different pet insurance companies only RSPCA and these guys could help me out. Show details · 1
Pet insurance – Claims were honoured as per the conditions of the policy. Premiums increased markedly each year becoming quite expensive over the 8 years. Not sure if this increase is dependent upon claim history. Claims were resolved quickly with gap payments being introduced a couple of years ago. the as peace of mind that large vet bills weren’t such a big hit to the bank account. We would certainly have any future pets insured and Seniors Pet Insurance would be our choice due to the customer service they have provided in the past.

Happy with the 80 percent return and Gap Payment set up – I felt very happy with the response time and understanding of my claims for my pet's long standing problems. When is an ‘accident’ not an insurance accident – I feel that the cover I have shouldn’t be called ‘accident’ - my pet swallowed rat bait which wasn’t covered in my policy. What actually is an accident??? However, the issue was dealt with well, and the claim resolved. My only criticism is the paperwork work. Waste of money – After three years of accident insurance I made my first claim after my dog ate human feaces on the beach path. In a short space of time I had to rush him to emergency where he tested positive to Marijuana and MDMA. My claim was denied as intoxication is deemed to be an illness not an accident.
