Hi I have a Sharp SJ-394 WG refrigerator, the refrigerator section is not Coolong however the freezer section is working, I.e. cooling. How can I get this repaired? Who is an authorised repair facility in Melbourne.

Hi Jay I'm having the exact problem with the SJ308V and have just purchased a replacement - it was a tough decision, because the freezer seems to be working. But I can't go without a fridge for several days during summer! There were some unusual cracking sounds in the past few weeks and a build up of frost at the vents in both freezer and refrigerator.

Hi JP, I have since found out that the circulation fan which is located in the freezer section is the one that circulate the cool air to the refrigerator section. I found this out by trying as to why only the freezer was working and not the refrigerator! You have to remove the plastic cover in front to access the fan. Sometimes the fan bearings can freeze, so some WD40 should do the trick. Good luck, Cheers Jay
Hi My refrigerator just completely shut down. Checked start CAP, relay, overload and compressor and found to be all good. Opened computer board and physically it looks intact with no signs of burn or blown capacitors. Fuse contunuity is ok and hoping you can help me with the rest in identifying the problem with the board. Computer board model number is QPWBFA326CBZZ.

The water is pooling up under the crisper box, needing to mop it up daily. Can I fix it or is it time to get another.
Have woken to fridge making a very loud whirring noise, but open fridge door and it stops! Close it , and it starts up again. Can anyone give me some advice before I call in someone I cannot afford? Thank you for your help.

Why is there only one adjustable foot on this model. It is impossible to get level and I ended up having to cut bits of timer for packing under the fixed foot. Anyone else had the same problem with slightly uneven floors?

Hi Lambrover, Thank you for your question. This is designed to be placed on a fairly flat surface where the one adjustable foot can be adjusted until the refrigerator becomes level on the 3 remaining feet. We understand that not all floors have flat surfaces however the purpose is to make up for any slight imperfections on the floor and not major uneven floors.

seriously? re one-foot adjustment response. Any older home and newer ones have uneven floors. A bit skimpy in the design category.
We brought this Sharp fridge from the Goodguys Mackay and we would like to know why the fridge fan is so noisey is this normal or is it a fault with this model We purchased it not two months ago. Awaiting your reply See Sender RAE
Hi rae550, Thank you for your question. Refrigerator noise levels are dramatically affected by installation variables such as surrounding cabinetry, room size and floor coverings. Does refrig. ModelSJ244V have a freezer control knob in freezer?
Yes it has a slider control for the temperate setting that you can slide along from Min to Max.
