not interested in warranty
Braun series9 shaver head fell apart after 8 mths - took it back to Shaver shop who said there was no warranty on heads and I would have to purchase a new head ($75). I did - but also contacted Braun who sent me a new head! The Geelong Shaver shop were just not interested. I can't complain about the Braun after sales service though.

I've used Shaver Shop for over 20 years, bought a few electric shavers from different stores, lots of cans of Shaver Guard, always polite friendly service, knowledgeable, competitive pricing and not pushy. I can't comment on having to deal with them in terms of warranty or returns, but overall very happy with them and to keep using them.
Great little store
Great setup for a small store, good shop front, good displays inside store. You're free to pick up and look over products. All boxes kept out the back, removing a cluttered look.
Variety was better than I expected, - everything and more
Bought 2 products, given really comprehensive demo, wasn't rushed, no hard sell. The staff really knows his products
I purchased Brau Shaver 5140S Series 5 on boxing day from Narre Warren Shaver shop. I have been told Seriut 5 is good for my uses but after used this product it took me about 40 mints for shave( after trim). I went back to store and explained about this and they have admitted that this is our mistake to sold wrong product but we can't refund or exchange this product as i need to deal with Brau directly. As a customer it is very disappointing with their unprofessional service. Never ever go to this store in future. also they the store manager is very rude.

Didn't honour warranty of replaced product, claimed they had no record
I purchased an item from here, the product code being MG7730/15, and order number O_00426476. I went to the shop in roughly August to make a warranty claim when the product stopped working, which was obliged and they replaced it. At the time they took my details and inputed into the system that the claim was being made and gave me the new shaver with a new warranty.
This second unit also broke, so I returned it to the same shop I had previously on Lonsdale Street, however they claimed they had no record of purchase or replacement. Looking bac...k through the system they had record of the original purchase however still would not honour the warranty. Considering they took my details upon returning the product for the first time upon replacement how can they subsequently claim to have no record of this? I also had the broken physical unit which presumably they could match. The store clerk offered no remedies or in further checking of the system for records. Also totally unemphatic and were assertive that nothing could be done and no help could be offered.

Huge range of products available! I was after some middle-range clippers for my son and partners thick hair. The team member in store helped me in finding some which met our needs whilst not spending unnecessary dollars on features we wouldn't use. No pushy sales tactics. There for the customer.
Excellent customer service!
Friendliest staff I've come across in a long time, that weren't pushy. Helped me examine the range of products I was interested in, ensured I had all the information then asked if I'd like some time to think about it. Just wonderful!
5 O'clock Shadow - Very Poor service
Purchased a Philips S730 shaver - came with an out of date return guarantee flyer. The product was poor - Shaver Shop just directed me to Philips who is only interested in a fault not quality. Expensive shaver sold as quality. Shaver Shop told me it was because the sensitive shaver was designed not to give a very close shave, that why it is sensitive. Shaver Shop or Philips just direct you to each other. Very Poor service. The product and sales was very deceptive and misleading.
poor return policy
Return policy never stated correctly. We wanted to return a massage item bought and return policy says it can be returned or refunded within 21 days. The store assistants were rude and never accepted as they say if the package is opened then no return... never go there.... poor service castle hill, never expected. I will tell all my friends to watch out this store....

Outstanding, efficient service
I returned to the Shaver Shop Adelaide Arcade Store seeking assistance with my WAHL Beard trimmer which had suddenly stopped working and was still under warranty.
I was serviced by a representative stated on my receipt as "Duranheld M". This gentleman made the process extremely simple. He unpackaged my item, asked me what was wrong with it, gave it a test himself and verified a fault and within 2 minutes of walking into the store, he was onto a solution.
I can't say I have had service like this on too many occasions before. "Duranheld M" as...ked me what I liked about my product and what I disliked, we established that perhaps there was a couple of better options for me and I stated I did not want to pay too much extra ontop of my store credit from the Warranty refund of which "Duranheld M" kept in mind whilst going through recommendations. In the end, all of about 20 minutes, I had my warranty refund sorted, was recommended a new beard trimmer which I paid slightly extra for but am 100% happy with the product. The service overall was fantastic. There were 3 lads working the store around 11:00am 25/10/19 who should all be commended as they all helped out with opinions, checking stock availability etc. I would definitely return to the Adelaide Arcade store and recommend. Pre-Loved Products at Full Price
Went to our local store to purchase a hair clipper. Was informed which products were from USA and which were from China. One of the products was definitely made in USA but they insisted it was made in China and didn't want to sell it because it was on such a large discount.
Purchased the clippers with no issues, they were polite enough. Got home and found the plastic container they came in and can be stored in was broken, not very impressed because that was obvious from the outside.
Opened the box, out comes these pre-loved clippers. Oil was ...unused so they weren't even properly treated. Clipper attachments had been resealed and the plastic on them is bent making it difficult to shave properly. This isn't the first time I've received a used item from ShaverShop. They're so desperate to get rid of used stock that they gave me a toothbrush from a different model that wasn't on sale but worked out $20 more. Realistically this toothbrush was worth $120 less. It was an online order and shipped from a store 40+ mins away, and they insisted that I should take it in personally or ship it at my expense. When I insisted thay they pay for shipping they tried to claim I had opened and used it, so whoever I was dealing with obviously knew the item was second hand. They also claimed that they had lost out with the order and were doing me a favour because it was a better product while the price on the screen was higher. After much discussion with HQ and other stores, one finally agreed to swapping it out for my original order. I'm sick of bring sold second hand products, it's rife NOR Perth. Take responsibility when accepting returned, and sell items as open box instead of palming it off in hopes that your customer will forgive you. Many stores are now on my blacklist, and ShaverShop is now too.
Bad customer service, Key replacement parts not available
In the first Instance, the Wahl trimmer within the first 30 days the usage started to hurt and I realized some of the points on the blade were broken, without any physical drop; I went to Shaver Shop to claim it under warranty, and was denied straight on the face without a second thought. Trying to find a replacement blade in 'Shaver Shop's around for a month and the only store where 1 blade is available is 50kms away.
Though sub par quality is a major issue, then stocking standards are worse considering this part comes with their all best sell...
The product i purchased is the best Shaver i have had, quiet and powerful and easy to clean. Should have had it ages ago. Also would like to thank staff for their help.

Can be great but management is terrible
Ive shopped at shavershop for years and on the most ive had some great experiences but recently I have noticed on a couple of occasions when I have gone in there seems to be an area or cluster manager in WA, short guy with red hair pale skin whom spoke to his team members very rudely calling them idiots. I was suprised as i asked the young girl if she was ok as she looked visibly upset and she said that was her regional manager and this wasn't the first time hes used such abusive language as she said she was used to it. If he's a regional, his ...manager needs to do something about him, as his appearance was appauling, he had ripped shirt on his elbows and just did not seem very nice. Ive seem him around a few of the WA shops and if i do shop when hes there i will gladly go to coles or woolies to buy my blades and will tell my friends and family as well as I firmly believe that life is hard enough and to be abused at work is a terrible thing. I afvised the young lady to go to fairwork and i hope she has.
Excellent and professional service
I have been a customer for many years and purchased several shavers and toothbrushes. Service has always been excellent and this morning was no exception at their Galleries shop where I was very well looked after.
