but the team has been very responsive and they are turning up next week to fix those issues. Special thanks to Banaj our sales consultant for being very helpful. He has always given prompt responses and has helped us a lot during the process. From the initial process till the end, his services were impeccable. I won’t even think twice to contact Banaj again to build my next home. It’s rare to have such a person in this field in the current day. In short I am very happy with the build so far.

including the sinks, island bench, and bathrooms. These small imperfections took away from the otherwise great presentation.
One of the biggest disappointments was the corner cabinet design. The cabinet is so small that it’s practically impossible to access the space inside. When I raised this concern with Sherridon, I was told it was too late to fix and was made to feel like it was my responsibility to spot this design flaw—even though it clearly stems from the layout provided to us.
On a positive note, compared to all the previous site supervisors we had during the build, Rob, our final supervisor before handover, was exceptional. He was communicative, attentive, and consistently provided clear, well-taken photo updates. Thanks to his efforts, our home handover was completed efficiently and even before winter, as we had hoped.
In summary, while the house is beautiful and the overall outcome is something we’re pleased with, the journey had a mix of highs and lows—with standout praise going to Rob for his professionalism and communication.
Cody our site manager has been absolutely incredible. We have reached the lock up stage of our home ahead of schedule, he has been so communicative with updates, and has been so open inviting us at each stage to walk through the home and view the progress. This the fourth house we have built, and this has been the best experience. The whole team at Sherridon Gippsland have been fantastic from the very start to the finish. The experience with Sherridon throughout the build has been great. We had some delays with the bank prior to the build but Sherridon was really patient with us and waited for us to sort it out. Our site manager [Name Removed] updated us weekly via the Sherridon online customer dashboard and was always happy to answer any questions. We really liked that they got an independent inspector to review the house on the same day as the PCI because they already flagged everything that needs to be redone before we went in. This was reassuring because we were worried we were going to miss things during the PCI.
We had a couple of pricing variations after the contract was signed due to new rules introduced by the government as well as other things which was a bit frustrating. I wish there was a bit more forward thinking and provision made in to the contract so we didn’t have to scramble to pay for the additional costs. Also I wish we were contacted by phone by the customer liaison to explain the variations prior to sending them via email.
Overall, we are pretty happy with the house and our experience.

valued. As a young homeowner, what appealed to me the most with Sherridon Homes was their Welcome Home Package, that included numerous offers that I would have otherwise paid for with other builders. Throughout the builder, they delivered high quality work, with a process that was smooth and consistent.

So the saga goes on 90 thousand dollars later, still an unfinished home that needs to be knocked down and rebuilt. live near by, we know nobody entered the house in past 2-3 months. We were told we will get the house by June/July, and based on that we booked and planned furniture, flooring etc... now we are told we will get the house by September, our complete loan is disbursed and now we are paying full EMI for our loan... very upsetting journey... we can see the tiles outside the house since Mar/April, the wet area is pending since that time, we thought of celebrating our kids birthday in new house, now we are calling other shops to hold the delivery of furniture, paying extra for change of rates carpets installation, and flooring people... nobody talks no response... we just get emails to approve variations and sign on incorrect architectural design, any request we make which is logical no body cares and consider which we highlighted on Nov/Dec 2024..
I have been asked multiple times to remove this review. Its close to hand over, all Sherridon cared about is getting OC permit so that they can now delay forever. We notified them we have to travel to Overseas in advance and we gave them the dates that we are travelling from Dec 15th to Jan 15th, they are telling us that they will be giving the handover on 17th Dec, isn't it black mail sort of thing... Sherridon is not a good builder, I would never suggest anyone for them. They say the report Darbecca has given is minor report can be done in a day or 2, report generated on 28th Nov and Handover on 17th Dec, I am literally helpless here.. just paying 5000$ in EMI to bank, and paying rent $2200 to my current house, paying hold and difference in price change money to my Carpet installation, floor installation, furniture in warehouse, everyone want to clear the warehouse this End of year. I don't know what came into our mind that we chose Sherridon.
They are telling us to take out this review and not to use as a leverage, What I have is no one to talk to or if I can take any action for this kind of stress I am going through. They just say "this is the process and we have to accept it" We want another inspection before the handover, we have lost trust on them, because of the delays, now things are getting stolen from the house. I know they will install the stolen things, but that will just be delay and delay and delay and I am the sitting duck.

a little. Few items were picked up during PCI which were acknowledged by the builder and fixed. I wanted the handover early which they honoured my request thanks to supervisor burak, Manager brent and ralph P for that. This was my second build with sherridon homes and i can say that i am satisfied with the build.
Follow-up · There were alot of issues, from paint job to wrong hardware ,we were told site supervisor will handle this in the first three months but only a few issues were resolved and site supervisor referred us to contact warranty department. It took another 6 months to get everything fixed. But then there are minor issues keep popping up like cracks in bricks or cracks in cornice, warped doors etc.

We also want to sincerely thank the Gallery team and especially our consultant, Tracey. Working with Tracey was one of the highlights of the experience. She guided my wife and me through the selection of the interior elements of our home with incredible professionalism and patience. Her aesthetic sense was outstanding, and she helped us make choices that not only looked beautiful but also felt practical and modern. She made what could have been an overwhelming process feel exciting and enjoyable.
Another huge thank you goes to our sales consultant, Viola Vitto. Viola went above and beyond from the very beginning. She didn’t just help us choose and refine our house design as there were many customisations during the design process, she took the time to provide honest, practical advice about what works in real life and what may not. first-time homeowner, I felt the contract terms and the process for managing variations were not adequately explained, cant be justified for company with this size. We were repeatedly issued couple of variations and were asked to make immediate payment, which created considerable financial pressure and felt highly unprofessional. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company and would certainly not use them again. Post hand-over, after living in the house, as you do, start to realise some things that you may not have noticed when doing walk-throughs. All these items were bought up to the builder for rectification. They initially responded to the first email, however, now I am getting crickets! It feels like Sherridon are more interested in showing you interest, but once that have your money, your kicked to the curb. The issues which I have bought to attention to Sherridon homes is the scratches across ALL my windows. These scratches were not made post-handover. Holes and imperfections are visible through all my flyscreens. Some of my kitchen cupboards have been un-usable as they are unable to be opened at all. All this information was taken down by Sherridon appointed 3-month inspector. I am currently in the process of reporting him as a missing person, as he has disappeared, just like my communication from Sherridon homes.
If you're looking for a homebuilder that's going to take your money and give you minimal aftercare, then Sherridon is the company for you. Like I said, during the build they were fantastic, but that's because they didn't have my money in their hands yet. I will be going elsewhere for my future business.

chase them up multiple times to get even the most basic updates.
Worse still, the final outcome deviated noticeably from what was clearly stated in the contract. The agreed-upon details were not followed, and the lack of accountability was unacceptable. It felt like once the contract was signed, attention to customer service and commitment to the agreed work dropped off entirely.
Please don’t be misled by a lower price point—it’s simply not worth the stress, frustration, and lack of peace of mind. Building a home is a major life event, and you need a builder with a solid reputation and integrity. Unfortunately, in my case, Sheriddon Homes did not live up to that standard.
