I have a 20cm and 24cm Silit Silargan frypans. The 20cm pan appears to have a different lining seems more ceramic than the 24cm pan can anyone explain the difference please? And, is the 24cm pan lined with teflon as this surface is appears to have deteriorated a lot more than the 20cm pan. TIA

all my silit cookware including 4 frying pans, are enamel over stainless steel. i know they make other types but personally i love the enamel. its more expensive, however it cleans so easily ... even when my husband burnt the food so very badly in one of our saucepans, i was still able to get it back to normal. i have been using silit for over 40 years. once i bought the other sort of lining, but i didn't like it, and i've never bought that type again.

I have my frypan for about 4 years now. The shine on the bottom is gone. Is it still safe to use? Am I eating any nasty chemicals?
