I got my helix done it hurt soooo much. Wouldn't get another done (I have tattoos and have had labret done but that hurt like a *****) We had to wait 40 minutes before we got seen and we had a appointment. feel very comfortable like we already were friends. She said shes normally works at the West Lakes SkinKandy store, but was covering a shift down south where I was. Genuinely want to make the trip to West Lakes for my next piercing just to have such a down to Earth piercing like this one. (I think her name was Amelia but I could be wrong) :)

a doctor; whoever there wasn’t any pus; any infection; not swollen; was “fine” just the piercing healed inside my skin! But when I saw the face staff did was unbelievable in a sense that they are not quote fed and prepared at all I felt! This was in the Chatswood store! So had a look online for a proper professional piercer and she took in 1 minute my embedded piercing with no issues at all! Definitely do not recommend Skin Candy! Unprofessional staff and price is the same as a professional piercer! I would not risk with them!

Kylie at Kawana store did such a great job of making me feel comfortable even though I am 50+ and probably the oldest person she talked to that day. Very professional and knowledgeable and made sure I was OK several times. Recommend Show details ·  1

Recently had a Bridge & eyebrow piercing done, "Fletcher" was incredible, her attention to detail in getting the bridge perfectly centred was outstanding. I must admit, I had a bad experience with the Chermside store, so was reluctant to try the Uptown store. So glad I went. 1 week later and they look fabulous. Show details ·  1

surprise. Whilst more painful than I remember, Zara was quick, and more importantly, attentive to my breathing, guiding me through the process compassionately. I could not recommend Zara more highly, and will most certainly be recommending her to all family and friends who are wanting a piercing.

Penrith location: Booked in for a bar change on the date of piercing, arrived today (after driving 45minutes for the appointment) to have the bar changed only to be told that it was too early to change the piercing. Staff were rude and unhelpful despite it being their error in booking the follow up appointment. Disappointing customer experience and won’t ever use this service again. Show details

2-year-old with me who needed a nap, I let staff know I would book an appointment online and return. I booked an appointment for 11:30am the following day. My daughter attended with her father (my ex-partner), with whom I have a good co-parenting relationship. He has her surname, a photo of her birth certificate, and would have happily provided anything further if asked. Despite this, he was turned away due to “custody issues” because he did not have a Medicare card showing his name. At no point did staff attempt to contact me, even though I was in the same shopping centre at the time and a one-minute phone call could have resolved the situation or allowed us to rebook. Instead, there was no flexibility, no alternative offered, and no effort made to help. When I contacted customer service, I was told proof of guardianship could be a Medicare card or birth certificate — yet a photo of the birth certificate was dismissed as potentially “AI generated,” and I was also told that calling me directly would not be sufficient to validate consent. This raised the question: how exactly is a father meant to prove parental consent if he has never held a Medicare card with the child’s name, even if the parents are together? While I understand policies exist for child safety, this was handled poorly. The website only stated “parental consent required,” and the link explaining acceptable proof was not working at the time of booking. Based on that information, it was reasonable to believe a parent attending with the child was sufficient. This situation could have been managed with basic communication and common sense. Instead, there was no attempt to assist, reschedule, or acknowledge the inconvenience caused. Overall, it left a very poor impression and unfortunately reinforced the negative reputation I’d heard about the company.

After the best experience getting all my earrings replaced, a few fell out and I had found them, I went back so someone can put them back in as they’re hard to do on your own and that lady told me she had to charge me $10 per earring to put back in when it wasn’t my fault! It’s a shame as the last time I was there I had the best service but now I’m going elsewhere. It was 1 day later when this happened.. not impressed Show details

there was no swelling at all. Highly recommend getting your piercing done at the Riccarton store in Christchurch!
