Definitely satisfied – Solid service. Consistent in speeds and connection. From the get go it was a fast seamless process for setup and install. Billing is simple and easy. The only thing I could say against them say the first person in the customer centre I spoke with seemed very rushed and just trying to get off the phone. There's certainly no consistency in the speed testing results. I've tried 2 more recommended sites. 'Fast' had the Download speed at 2.6Mbps with the Unloaded Latency at 32ms whilst the Upload speed reached 13Mbps with a Loaded latency of 915ms.
'SpeedTest' was run 3 times with Download speeds of 17.39Mbps, 2.18Mbps & 8.81Mbps. The corresponding Latency for each was 30ms, 69ms & 50ms.
The problem looks to be dropouts caused by this erratic service. All I know is we can't stream a simple video on the lowest quality settings and that is FAR FROM THE SERVICE I WAS PROMISED BY [Name Removed] WHEN SHE SIGNED ME UP AND TOOK MY MONEY!

Follow-up · After starting up the nbn speeds dropped to lowest known to the point I could not stream anything and wifi calling dropped out. Speeds marketed were false. I cancelled within 48 hours and returned to Dodo!

fairly good service at a fair enough price. Placed the order a month ago and was told that the soonest that they could install anything was 5 March - OK I can live with that. Then the 4th March I get a text to say we can't install this on 6 March but could on 5 March in the afternoon please ring this number to confirm. I called to them to be told sorry we don't actually have you booked in anywhere you should take this up with Skymesh. So around the loop we go and Skymesh cant get anyone at NBN to talk to them but promised to get back to me this week with an answer. The answer arrived today to say that the soonest they can do the install is 2 April - 2 months after the the initial order. I know that NBN Co has agreed service standards with all of its providers but no one seems to hold them to account for them - that's what happens when you have a monopoly on the market. the router after an update. Nobody's fault really. After getting the sales team on the phone within seconds I was transferred to tech support. 2 HOURS I waited!!! Far too long!!! It wasn't all bad though after the long wait Technical Guru Rees picked up the phone, in a matter of minutes he had solved the issue and we were working as one checking for any other dramas. Rees knows his stuff, which is great because I'm about as tech savy as an old boot. He didn't seem to mind that though he just slowed it down a notch for me and we got there. My connection is restored, my Skymesh service is back to normal and there is peace here again.
Installation Issues – I cannot speak highly enough of the help and patient assistance that Rees has provided me over the last couple of weeks. The NBN technician installed the NBN receiver & modem as scheduled but the Skymesh router did not arrive until at least a week later, so I could not test anything. but had no internet. At this stage I rang Skytmesh Support and after quite a wait I was able to speak with Rees. Using his detailed instructions we interrogated the system, including the wiring, port connections and finally the Skymesh Router settings for more than an hour but could not find the fault. Over the next couple of days there were more tests and finally Rees confirmed there was an NBN fault and decided to escalate the fault to the NBN. I had internet within 2 hours.
It was only Rees’ tenacity and patience that allowed us to overcome a very frustrating situation and resolve the issue in respectful and civil manner.

automatically debit out of my card with no issue but never had a follow up about my poor speeds, I asked to cancel after being with them for 4 years but they won’t refund any unused months and say I have to give 30days notice which I think is poor customer service I won’t ever be back The customer service gave been very unhelpful and just think the problem would go away on its own, this internet provider has caused me so much stress I hope no one goes with them and go with another provider or just go starlink

When asked them to put a new service on port 1 of my NBN NTD they instead cancelled my current NBN servers on port 2 which I never asked them to do, they never sent me a welcome Email or anything via Email/SMS or call what so ever so had no details about what was happening or even my customer/account number. working on port 2, then 5 minutes later I get an Email from that provider advising it had been cancelled. I'd realised Skymesh had then completely screwed up my order, tried to call the orders team at Skymesh, on hold for 1 hour, and then I was finally at the front of the queue, they hung up on me. Had to speak to the sales team who only take 20 seconds to answer to ensure they can rip off as many potential customers as possible and raised this with them, they never called back. Then spoke to tech support who blamed my BYO router (I'm an IT engineer so this is childs play) for half an hour was told it's all fine and activated and it's because I've misconfigured the router or the router has an issue (not the case, as it was working up until they cancelled the service). They said I need to wait 24 hours before they escalate the issue which I thought was insane. Of course still nothing the next day, spoke to them and tore into tech support who said they'd get a supervisor to contact me, which they did and they were in Australia at least, the thing was their level was what others consider first level tech support so he still wasn't across much. Said to leave it with him after telling me 1000 details about everything, and the next day in the afternoon (over 48 hours later) the service was online. I went with Skymesh to get onto their 100/20 Fixed Wireless NBN plan, and now am only get 10/10, I came from Exetel on a 75/10 plan which I was getting 70/10 out of them which I thought was good but an potential 10 up will be great for working from home. Anyhow I've signed up with MATE now which are the best NBN provider I've dealt with to date (took 7 minutes to activate the service on the port I asked for), the only thing that wasn't an issue was cancelling with these clowns, and I bet they will still try and charge my credit card even though they have a 30 day satisfaction guarantee

During the order process, I selected the Tenda router that only comes with WPA/WPA2. Once I was setup, I identified I needed a router with latest Wi-Fi security protocols. An online chat with Melody quickly identified my need for the newer Netcomm Router. Order placed and I should epect it here in a day or two. I was not impressed initially, as getting connected proved very frustrating and slow but when the system was finally up, I did receive excellent help from Rafael, he was incredibly patient and understanding, particularly when the router I inherited proved to be faulty, he put up excellently with my deafness and slow progress between my computer room an the router . Skymess were utterly unable to get NBN to do its job. Swapped to Skymess with a 100 MBPS plan, got virtually no increase from the old 12.5 MBPS. Spent 3 months trying to work with Skymess techs who just gave me an endless runaround doing tests that supposedly the NBN required. Eventually dropped Skymess for Starlink, sooooo much better and much easier. STILL waiting for NBN to reply to my official complaint. Show details
