When it’s working it works well. For some reason after many years I started having connection issues, skymesh was onto it fairly quickly. Upfront - had no problem, till i had a problem, then they are completely incompetent. Hours of phone calls and i mean hours, promises that just didn't happen, service out for over 12 days - so i cancelled service - of course i had to pay an extra month as apparently it takes that long to do - funny how it was tuned on in hours????? cancellation didn't happen - so i was charged again, another 1.30hrs on the phone, no one knows why it wasn't cancelled - it was sheduled to do????????? This time - amazingly, they could cancel it immediately - so it doesn't take a month - WOW. Promised a refund on the unauthorized charge - told it may take 10 days - funny how when they are taking the money its instantaneous but refunding takes for ever??? Guess what - yep no refund - so again 1.3hrs on the phone and yep - do not know why - its was scheduled for refund - just like it was scheduled to be cancelled - still chasing - still dont have it - seriously use Starlink - better service - instant actions - instant results - plus massively faster.

designed to be difficult. The upward creep of the service charges is deceptive in my opinion Down graded and then they charged for both services. Don’t do it . I Opted for Starlink now it is more affordable and reliable .

 Follow-up  · Six weeks on and although I’ve been told I’ll receive a refund for over charging……. Nothing . BUYER BEWARE !!!!! Starlink is cheaper, more reliable .

living where we do. COVID meant so much of work was changing to online with Microsoft Teams etc which forced my hand to make a change. We found Skymesh’s ads on Facebook and admittedly with some trepidation rolled the dice and have never looked back. Installer was punctual, professional and thankfully worked neatly. We can now stream and video conference with minimal to no disruption. We finally ditched our expensive Austar subscription after all these years and go with streaming services. We feel like we’ve finally joined the 21st century. Oh and as we have ok 3g we ditched the landline as well, saving more money. We’ve been with Skymesh for about 12 months. We’ve increased our data plan as now that we can stream we are increasingly doing so. Speeds are good (see screen shot of speed test I did while writing this review)Best guess we’ve had less than 5 drop outs in that time but they’ve been due to NBN itself rather than skymesh. Whenever I’ve had to use the skymesh phone enquires they’ve been punctual helpful and intelligible. My only complaint would be to wish we could have unlimited data plans like our friends in town but I understand this isn’t up to skymesh its NBNs purview.

3mps download. 200kbps upload on a good day – support is good customer service no complaints but as for speeds and connectivity, I NEVER have HAD 25/5mps at any time, it's terrible we need satellite living on a farm and its extremely bad. go with starlink now that its more available. max 3mps download and 200kbps (yes kilobytes) upload speed and its 10pm 30th october 2024 frustrating. unlimited plan and it struggles to keep up with one laptop and a smart tv. Show details

Useless internet service and zero customer service once you’ve signed up – Despite promises over minimum speeds, I’m getting evening speeds of 3-7 mbps and can’t even stream HD TV. It arrived and my husband set it up but after a week or two of struggling with slow internet connections - or NO connection, I decided to ring Skymesh. "Jeff" was my technical support person. I was a Bordernet customer for a long period but once with very good service but once Skymesh took over the level of service is non existent, I have made numerous phone calls over a period of 6 months which just ends in frustration, the same answer " we are working on it". Jeffery B spent a lot of time trying to repair problem, but in the end, it was a Microsoft problem not a Skymesh one. I bought a router from a local shop about a year ago. I called SkyMesh recently to help me set it up because it wasn’t working. I spoke with a lady named [Name Removed], and she asked me to do a whole bunch of things to get the router sorted. After we connected all the cables, the internet still wouldn’t work. onto the modem page and change some settings. After what felt like ages of troubleshooting and tinkering with the modem settings… STILL NOTHING WORKS! [Name Removed] was getting frustrated with me because we just couldn’t get it going. She eventually told me to call NetComm support. So, as [Name Removed] suggested, I rang NetComm the next day and did more troubleshooting with the router. Unfortunately, the router was already busted, and for some reason we couldn’t change any of the settings on it. I was told there were settings in the router that SkyMesh shouldn’t have changed or removed. Now I’m stuck with a faulty router and no internet connection!

After a recent hiccup with the upload speed on my service I contacted Skymesh who then put me in contact with their Technical Support staff who were absolutely wonderful and very proactive in getting my speeds back to normal ..... Skymesh have decide that they will charge by default ignoring messages phone calls(if you ever get through) and emails. The only way I could get them to respond was after making a complaint with the ombudsman and then they denied I had contacted them months before they reckoned. threaten them with license removal if they won't improve their customer service. I have been stuffed around with no service old failed equipment and lack of service all while trying to sort it out. It has even had health ramifications due to remote area and stressful interactions with their useless staff. Dont believe a word they say and keep your fingers crossed the ombudsman can get some of your money back. If I had the funds I'd run them through the courts and if I lived closer to their office Id tear it to pieces. Do not deal with this company they are shockingly useless and a blight on the industry.

Internet speeds where never anywhere near what is quoted even when on their fastest service option. Debited amount regularly increased in small increments without any notice. calling over a number of days again with no luck. Finally recieved a call back from a gentleman with a very poor customer service attitude making sarcastic remarks stating that I should of notified them earlier and I have been billed for the following month and cannot recieve a refund for the unused balance even though I had been trying to contact from the previous month.

Do yourself a favour and just pay the now little extra and get star link. You'll pay about 25% more but get about 10 x the speeds and much more reliability.

This mob is just taking advantage of the market and think they just all don't know any better.

purchased a new wifi router from them I would be able to get support setting up its more complicated features. Like its internal VPN feature.

The Tenda V12 router is excellent value for the price, but when I contacted Skymesh support for the promised after sales back up, I was told "We will not assist you to set up your internal VPN, but you're welcome to do it yourself, have a nice day"

This is totally unacceptable, there's nothing I can do, there was nothing the representative on the other end of the live chat could do, this is blatantly lying to a customer to get a sale.

You know you can do better Skymesh, I'm now considering paying 3 times more for Starlink.
