which I was able to access my Yahoo email and it seemed that the problem was solved. Unfortunately, after disconnecting with Sarah and returning my connection through my WiFi router the problem returned and I was again unable to use Yahoo or Bing.com. As I discovered the WiFi issue after closing time of the Help desk I will need to resolve the problem tomorrow. Clearly, Sarah was pushed for time and we both believed the problem was solved. I have no complaints about Sarah's service or competence which I found Excellent.

happened. Eventually I contacted technical support again today, 29/5/26, and within 30 minutes I had the problem sorted thanks to Randy. What is going on that my previous 2 calls were virtually ignored and there was no follow up and no solution provided for my problem. I think that 3 stars may be on the generous side for a rating.

I had a call from Nash, who was very helpful, patient and assisted me to be able to log into my account. I was so frustrated prior, I gave up on logging on for good. Without my SkyMesh satellite service I would be totally lost – I live in a very remote place. Without my SkyMesh satellite service I would be totally lost. Skymesh keeps me in touch with the world and for this I'm eternally grateful. Maybe the service isn't as fast as city internet services. But it works well, and I've come to count on it. life. I wouldn't be able to contact friends all over the world. That aspect of staying connected while still being able to enjoy the benefits of an off-grid lifestyle is very important to me and Skymesh delivers. I can't thank the team enough.

Like a good long term spouse – Having been hooked up with Skymesh at my current location since January 2008, with only a brief, 9 month, separation due to business commitments out of the country, the only time I had any concerns was when a tropical cyclone was thrown our way. Complete fraud and thief's of a company. Took out 2 payments of $284.80, at first completely denied the second transaction. Until I showed my bank statement. Now they are saying that it can take 10 days to return the money, I didn't give them permission or didn't have a direct debit setup for them to double up on payment. Complete scammers, plus it runs slow and disconnects. So cranky and financially screwed now. Show details

shame because I have been with Skymesh for about 18 years. Previously the the support was great but lately it is poor. It seems like the support has been outsourced.

 Follow-up  · The performance is OK ... when it works. Almost daily, I have to reset the modem. Still the same old issue ... "trying to handshake" then times out. I'm not sure that it is the modem because this is the reason that I wasted my money thinking that a new modem would fix the problem. Thinking seriously of changing provider if you can't fix this problem. Is it my computer, Acer Aspire 5. Cheers Ted Flaus

day with some blue sky and light fluffy clouds". She laughed and said that's about it, in an Irish accent. They mostly used backpackers in Queensland on the phone in those days. Now it has moved off shore to the good old Philippines and the service is as as you would expect. Dreadful.

My latest issue has been that after endless drop outs and inability to connect I moved to Activ8Me (who have been great and supplied what I signed up for). I then obviously tried to cancel my Skymesh account. That has not taken and as they required auto credit card payments that they take a month in advance, the debits have kept going. They also told me when I was cancelling that they require a full month in advance to cancel. So, that cost me the rest of the month and another. They then confirmed a final payment date and final payment of $12 by email. I then received a notification by email of the next months full payment. I called and could only talk to Arnold (you guessed it), Philippines. He seemed to me to have no idea of what he was doing and offered a refund which did not happen. His maths seemed to be rather lacking also, as the amounts were always higher than they should have been. Instead another payment was taken. Spoke to him again today at which he claimed the refund was late and this is why the NEW payment was deducted. Can't even comprehend that. I have twice asked for a supervisor to contact me as he ([Name Removed]) is never in when I call. No luck there. My only action I can see is to cancel my credit card and take up the previous debits with an Ombudsman, or even try small claims court. Have had success with the court in the past as they then have to appear out of state and or send a costly lawyer - I have it all in writing - so that may work.

My message is - GO ANYWHERE ELSE but Skymesh - they all use the same satellites and NBN connections and just resell. ALSO - read other Skymesh review accounts.

Update - [Name Removed] did contact me and seemed to speak in a manner as to let me know he had less than zero interest in the situation. Assurance was given that a new refund would be processed immediately and he managed to disinterestedly say goodby (all on recording I might ad). I have since received another credit card bill as I left it un-cancelled just to receive the refund. As expected - NO refund. Time to cut my losses and cancel the card - the only sure way to stop deductions as I have been told before that it is only the payee that can cancel an auto deduction - watch out for that one!!!

Last update - a refund of forty something dollars finally showed up. I don’t believe it is enough, however card cancelled and Skymesh is now gone from my life.

 Follow-up  · They (Product Review) have just asked me to write a follow up review. I changed to another provider and the reception has been much better.

sent back modem for refund as told. They got in mail on August 6, today Aug 25. still NO REFUND. Rang 6 times cut off 4 times, on hold 3 hours last time, told refund within 3 days, that was 3 weeks ago. Received refund 27.08.25. Their delays and long hold on times are biggest problem.

 Follow-up  · Refund finally arrived. They would need to be more improved for me to use.

managed to get support via a phone sitting on Window cill and with the help and patience of support [Name Removed] who personally helped me out. So appreciate her help even after I have rang support twice before reaching [Name Removed]. Support refuse to help me because I have a ptlink router. Skymesh never supplied us with a router when you installed our satellite.

Im seriously looking into StarLink for an alternative.

Was told Skymesh was available in my area. Ordered and received modem and had technician come out yesterday and install NBN box and satellite. When he'd finished, I asked him when I would be connected he shrugged his shoulders and left. Now I'm told today he discovered yesterday it wouldn't work but didn't tell me. and I have to send the modem back. Why did I have to make several phone calls to be told that after they've already installed everything?? Now I'm left to find another alternative. Not at all happy with Skymesh.

I am delighted that Mary Grace was able to find the problem in the Netgear Router and find a way for me to be able to get onto the Internet to pay our invoices. I have been talking to several other SkyMesh people trying reconnect to the Internet for about a fortnight, but through her patience and the help of my son, we have now ordered a SkyMesh Router, which is being delivered by post. We all know NBN satellite is not as fast as starlink, the only issues I have is sometimes the NBN satellite is slow to connect, otherwise I am happy with Skymesh as a service provider. Of-course we all want more for less, but that may not actually be a good thing. Show details ·  1

Had the most helpful service from Henry in the Tech division today (9/1/26), also Melody on the chat line. Both were very different from my very frustrating previous dealings with Skymesh personnel. I noticed the top of the 'productreview' page says there was a change of ownership in 2025 and wonder if this had anything to do with it? Show reply

We had a great skymesh experience right up until cancellation. Coverage was good, speeds were ok but had very few drops outs over the 3 years we had it. I did find cancelling my service when we moved near on impossible. Multiple phone calls with no one to answer my calls. No email address on any invoice or the website to contact. Wasn't a great experience at the end and was really disappointed. Show details

I had put my service on hold in the past but recent emails requesting another hold received no response & after a call to the helpline was told holds were no longer available. received my earlier email I had not provided the required 30 days notice so they would still be debiting another payment from my account - but would generously give me a $10 discount. Bizarre. A longtime customer lost.

option to escalate my issue to anyone in Australia who I could speak to (or email) to find a resolution. I was left with Skymesh both unable and unwilling to assist, and no solutions offered. I cannot emphasise how frustrating this was — it felt like talking to a brick wall. The reason I was contacting Skymesh was to report that my copper line telephone was “out of order.” I was told by the call centre that copper network telephones are no longer available through symesh and that all phones had been moved to an internet-based phone system and this is why my phone was not working — this is despite Skymesh still advertising copper services on their website and furthermore I am not aware of any correspondence that was received from Skmesh in relation to this change. For context we are on a rural property and Internet-based phones are unacceptable because we need alternate ways to make calls in emergencies. Anyone living rurally should be aware of this before signing up with Skymesh. Lastly, after upgrading our plan in January, we found Skymesh failed to apply the $10 bundled discount (as advertised on their website) for 11 months. Their call centre “solution” was to apply the discount from next month onwards and simply ignore the amount they owe in arrears. I fail to see how they think that is acceptable and I feel cheated. I repeatably requested a call back from someone in Australia and was bluntly told this was not possible. I strongly recommend that anyone considering Skymesh to seek clarity about their support and compare their service with other providers before entering into an agreement. Overall: I would not recommend Skymesh, particularly if you plan on transferring an existing copper landline number to them.

Subscribed to skymesh with a satellite and it didn't work so I cancelled and got Starlink and starling is great! Skymesh still charged me and have not refunded my money yet, they said they weren't going to charge me when I cancelled 2 days after connecting the service because of the cooling off period but they still did. charge then the customer has to chase up to get a refund! I feel like I have been scammed! I will be getting the bank involved. Do yourself a favour and go straight for starlink if you live in a remote area, Skymesh is a rubbish service and shocking customer service.
