How do you go when half way through the night, you want to change to side sleeping in a King electric bed?

Sleep Electric
Sleep Electric   DM

Hey Cobie! You can definitely side sleep on an adjustable bed, but you would just want to adjust the angles to more gentle inclines for side sleeping, which is super easy with the remote. We do find though that a lot of former side sleepers find the comfort and pressure relief they get from sleeping on their back in a properly supported position with the bed adjusments mean they don't want to go back to side sleeping!

Can you please tell me the measurements of the king single electric bed. Does it come with sheets etc. do I need a bed head.

Sleep Electric
Sleep Electric   DM

Hey Karen! A king single is 107cm wide by 203cm long. You don't need a bed head but we do have them available for purchase along with sheets, pillows and other accessories If you send an email to info@sleepelectric.com.au and just include your postcode I can get your local team to send out the brochure and price list

Hi, can these be inserted into an existing bed frame if the wooden slats are removed, or can the headboard be screwed on to the new frame ? Thank you

Barbara Hetherington
Barbara Hetherington

Yes the beds do fit into an exisiting frame after the slated are removed. We didn’t have to do anything with the headboard. Just fitted the beds into the existing frame.

Sue

Thanks for the Info Barbara, are you happy with your adjustable bed?I read reviews and am sceptical. Thanks

Sleep Electric
Sleep Electric   DM

Hey Sue - yes 99% of the time we would be able to fit the bed inside your existing frame if you wanted to keep it. Normally before buying the bed we would visit you at home with our mobile showroom so you can try out the beds and mattresses and at that point we can inspect your existing bed to make sure we can fit the new bed in.

Let us know if you have any more questions. If you send us an email to info@sleepelectric.com.au and just let us know your postcode we can email out a brochure and price list from your local team too :)

We bought two king single electric beds from you last October and with winter coming we need to install two electric blankets. Can you advise some brands which would be suitable. I’m assuming that the cheaper brands would not be suitable due to the bending. Thanks Don

Sleep Electric
Sleep Electric   DM

Hi Don, thanks for the question! An Electric Blanket is a great option to add to your bed. We don't recommend any specific brands but any should honestly be fine to work with your adjustable bed. The main thing you want to consider is that you get one that has deep enough siding or that it attaches in a way so that it doesn't come loose from the mattress when you adjust the bed. Also when using please just make sure the blankets wire isn't getting caught/trapped in any moving parts. Cheers

Is this bed made in Australia. How many motors in the bed. And what type of wood material has been used.

Sleep Electric
Sleep Electric   DM

Hi Bonnie apologies for the delayed reply. Our bed is Australian-designed but manufactured in China with components certified to Australian quality and safety standards. The frame itself is all steel so there isn't any wood in there. Some cheaper quality beds may use wood in the body of the frame but it doesn't give the same strength as a steel frame.

One thing to be aware of when looking at Adjustable beds and trying to buy Australian made. There isn't really anything you would consider truly Australian-made, but some companies will represent it that way. The reality is they are assembled here in Australia from the same imported parts that beds like ours use.

I should mention as well we do have some Australain made mattresses available for the beds.

If you have got any more questions or if we can help in any way feel free to give us a call on 100 600 600 or email info@sleepelectric.com.au

Sleep Electric
Sleep Electric   DM

Hey Diane. A double is 138cm wide by 188cm long. You can also get a long double is 138cm wide by 203cm long.

A split queen by comparison is 152cm wide by 203cm long

Diane
Diane

How wide is the split queen please

Sleep Electric
Sleep Electric   DM

Hey Diane thanks for the question. A split queen is 152cm wide by 203cm long total. So have two half queens of 76cm by 203cm. We also have split kings which are 184cm x 203cm - or 92cm wide each. Finally the biggest split is a split super king which is 214cm wide by 203cm long - each half being 107cm wide

I am confused. Sophie adjustable beds are calling me again and again. But i saw the product reviews since of them where saying total waste of money. Can someone please tell me what are the differences between sleep electric and Sophie beds

Sleep Electric
Sleep Electric   DM

Hey Iftikhar, thanks for your question! There are quite a lot of differences between us and Sleep Sophie but probably the biggest one is choice - we actually have half a dozen different models of adjustable beds to choose from with varying ranges of features and functions to suit a broad variety of people's needs. We also have several different mattresses to choose from (as opposed to one mattress with Sleep Sophie).

Also with teams based around the country, you can try our beds and mattresses before you buy through our convenient mobile showroom which visits you at home. I believe with Sleep Sophie you cannot see/try the beds beforehand. Having that network of teams around the country also means you are always dealing with someone locally for your bed and they are on hand to provide any after sales service that is needed.

Hope that helps :)

Hi ,Can you give me some idea of the cost of a queen size bed please.

Kerryn
Kerryn

We ordered 4 of them. Making a King Size bed with two pushed together in each room. Also we went for particular mattresses and they have a range of mattresses that vary in price. Ours $16,000 for 4 beds. We also bought a sheets and beheads in that price too. So, ours would be at the upper end of price. Considering that my husband has not needed his snoring/breathing machine since the day it was delivered.

carbill

Thanks Kerryn. That info is helpful

We purchased two singles put together as a king. Both adjustable and with massagers. The mattress type we selected was plush. Came with mattress covers and set of sheets for each. Purchased for $6,000 . We are in WA and the suppliers are in Jandakot.

Sleep Electric
Sleep Electric   DM

Hey Carbill thanks for the question. A queen can start as low as about $2700 but we do have a few different models available too with different mattress choices as well. If you let me know your email and postcode I can get your local team to email the full price list so you can look at all the options :)

Nicole J.
Nicole J.

Above you stated a Queen was $2700??? And that was only 1 month before your comment stating a Queen was $3600.

Sleep Electric
Sleep Electric   DM

Hi Nicole, apologies for any potential confusion. In the Queen size beds there are two configurations. A normal queen size bed is operated by one remote and the whole bed moves together - that one starts at $2,700. We then have a split, or dual, Queen - which is what Susan asked about here. The dual queens have two remotes and individual motors for each side of the bed so each half of the bed operates completely independently l allowing two people using the bed to adjust their own side separately to their partner. Those dual queens start at $3,600.

Let me know if you have any other questions

Are you able to use an electric blanket on the single king bed.

Sleep Electric
Sleep Electric   DM

Hey Gaye, thanks for the question. Yes you definitely can use an electric blanket on your adjustable bed. I think it's a bit of a myth hanging round for some reason that you can't. The only thing you would want to do is just make sure the cord from your blanket doesn't get trapped in any moving parts of the bed :)

I am disable person with CMT and I would like to know if the following bed is suitable -- Split King Elite Hi Lo With Pressure Care Mattress

Sleep Electric
Sleep Electric   DM

Hey Carl, thanks for your question. Certainly, a Hi-Lo bed like the Elite would be very suitable for someone with CMT. having the height adjustment will allow the bed to support you safely getting in and out of bed with a stable platform and also mean you can put the bed up to a safe working height for getting care in bed if you need that. The head and feet adjust will help with general discomfort being able to position yourself in a way to relieve pressure while sleeping but again can also help with any mobility limitations you might have with your CMT as it can help sit you up without having to put undue strain on your arms/upper body.

If you would like to have more of a chat about the beds please give us a call any time on 1800 600 600 or emil info@Sleepelectric.com.au. We can also organise to out to you at home with our mobile showroom service so you can try the bed and different mattresses before making a decision on what is best for you

if there is a way to operate on my mobile phone it will be better

Sleep Electric

That's a good point Roger. If gripping is an issue the elite does also have an option to upgrade to an app controled remote so you may find it easier to operate it from something larger such as a tablet

I recently purchased a queen size prestige bed (memory foam mattress). Cannot fault the salesman, the delivery and installation, etc., but .....the mattress is so hard, it is like a slab of concrete! Could it be possible that I've been delivered the wrong mattress???? I've put a 'mattress topper' on it, which provides a slightly better level of comfort, but really, it is so hard, that I wake up with pins and needles due to lack of circulation! Any tips? I went with this company, based on all of the 5 star reviews, surely I am not the only person, who finds the mattress comfort to be so bad????

Michelle
Michelle

I would definitely contact Eddie as there is a short term comfort guarantee, and talk about your options. I went with the pocket sprung mattress as I don't like the heat generated from memory foam, and perhaps this could be an option for you as my mattress is the most comfortable mattress I've ever slept on. Give Eddie a call and speak to him directly about your concerns

Des
Des

Dear kp123 I bought the same bed as you but not the memory foam mattress. It was not comfortable for my rather oddly shaped back, so I chose the softer one. Carol Watman and Sleep Electric were just wonderful to deal with. I'm sure they will swap it if you explain the situation. Regards DD

Eddie has amazing service. He was able to visit an elderly friend of mine on the same day she called him and she had her bed within a week. I am with NDIS and once he had approval from them, my bed was delivered in 2 days - so essentially if he has the bed you are after in stock, the turn around time is super fast. It will be the best decision you make. My original queries were answered over the weekend, by Eddie. Very obliging man. Give Eddie a call!

It doesn't take long Michael S, I dealt with Carol Watman of Sleep Electric, they did have to wait for a container to come in for my long double and kept me in the loop the whole time. Even so I did not have to wait long at all. Sleep Electric give wonderful service and bend over backward to help the client and get the product there ASAP. they even brought a truck with beds and chairs in to my place so I could have a trial of the beds - brilliant!

We are thinking about a split queen..I’m wondering if the linen we already have ie fitted queen sheets can be used one to each mattress...Rather than purchasing new single fitted sheets?

Satisfied Customer
Satisfied Customer

I'm sorry I don't know as I have a 'double long' which is as long as a queen size bed but as wide as a double and is not split - I use my queen size sheets on this and my daughter sleeps in the bed with me when she stays, which works. So I have forwarded this on to Sleep Electric and they will certainly answer this for you. Kindest Regards

Satisfied Customer
Satisfied Customer

Hi Heather, The size sheets for a Split Queen are narrower than a Single Bed. So if your sheets are Split Queen they will fit. If they are a Solid Queen sheet then it will be hard for you to use each side of the bed. Please feel free to call me on . 0499293715 any time if you would like to discuss further. Carol from Sleep Electric .

Hi. Considering purchasing an electric king single bed for my husband. He currently has a standard king single bed and all the linen to go with it. Will standard fitted sheets fit on your king single mattresses. Also would we need to get rid of the timber frame...... if so.... Are there bedheads available
