Tried to back charge with extra weight and volume with no evidence

Have been billed for double the width and weight of one of the items recorded and sent. Smartsend said the courier had recorded the measurements and weight and charged a fee for that. Rang the courier to ask if there was an issue and no issue had been recorded and the invoice had been paid. Trying to charge 50% more a month after being delivered with false volume and weight measurements with no evidence on their side. Disgraceful. Show details

Used to be good. Now terrible

Used smartsend for over 8 years. They used to be great. The last 12 months, I can't express how useless the pickup service is. Not once in the last 5 times I've used them has the courier come on the day selected. They are unorganised to say the least.

Ripped off, yet again

I'll keep this one brief, as my opinion has only declined.

The technique for this company to raise profits is to scam other businesses who use their services.
Can be bothered with the details, I'm over them.
Just don't use them, and if you do, be petard for regular extra invoices to be sent to you.
No proof, just an extra invoice.

Unorganised unprofessional Courier Service

I would like you to publish this as my Review
Smart Send is very unprofessional. I booked amd paid for my items to be collect between 12-5pm took a day off work, never came then at 940pm a courier arrived to collected whilst i was sleeping.
Then 9 cartons scanned in not 10. Then on calling prior to booking a consignment i was told my items would arrive in there destination 3-5days on a follow up email asking to confirm after my goods were pick up they state 22/6 they should arrive ok so that’s 9 days. I would never recommend this company very unreliable and disorganised but u only get what you pay for in life. Show details

Above and beyond service

We had a very important delivery that had to be in Belgium in a extremely tight time frame .
Charmaine and the crew , followed this delivery from start to finish even helping with a customs issue .
The bike was delivered on time and raced on the next day by a extremely grateful Professional Cyclist .

I used them once 6 years ago, made the mistake of using them again, just awful

It was much a repeat of my previous experience years ago which shows they haven't improved, I havent got the time to list all the problems I had with them but needless to say their staff demonstrated a distinct lack of competence or care which led to a very important package being 1 week late. Show details

Responsive and Helpful

I've used Smart Send a number of times. Whenever I've needed to make contact I have found the staff responsive, friendly, helpful and timely. Additionally, the consultants have often followed up without any prompting from me. PATHETIC SERVICE

Items taking up to a week to recieve. No details on where it is or on when it will be delivered and the item only has to travel 60km. I tried to contact this company and was ignored! .I woul dnot recommend this company after the lack of service! Show details

Terrible service

As the receiver had to chase them up, when they stated they had tried to deliver. Stated they couldn't find address on Google Maps. Finally found out they were going to wrong address & kept putting down, unable to deliver. Show details

A courier company that you can contact and actually responds !!!

Amazing customer service from a locally based company. Sure beats the long time on hold and no care attitude of some of the companies we dealt with. We have had parcels go missing and it is impossible to get any facts. That will never happen with Smart Send. Show details ·  1

Worst service ever

Customer service was very rude and unhelpful from the outset. From trying to arrange the delivery to seeking a refund for the services.

Ended up lodging a PayPal case to get my money back and compensation

Delivery driver never arrived and smart send charged me a redelivery fee. Seems like a common theme on the reviews.
