Hi Are you able to advise me online rather than me waiting to call you please? My Smeg microwave model SA35MX was heating, cooking and beeping as normal. But now when it beeps on completion it shows the number 99 and highlights the grams option. It then starts cooking by itself for 2minutes and 10 seconds. I have chnaged the options, reset the clock, unplugged and replugged but its still doing this. I cant find a factory reset process on the internet. Can you please advise how i can fix this please?
I have a SMEG35MX microwave. Not sure how old. It was here when we moved in 3 years ago. It was working fine. But on 2 occasions it has stopped working for no apparent reason. In the clock display section, the time has disappeared and it is replaced with a code, currently "2:10". The first time it reset itself. But not this time. It does not start when I push the Start/Cook button and it does not clear with the Stop/Clear button. Opening and closing the door makes no difference. Any ideas? It was working fine until then. The light still comes on when the door is opened.

our 35MX has condensation between the double glazing when heating potatoes. Is this dangerous? Denis, Hobart
Hi Denis. Thank you for your question, I would like to advise that it is normal for condensation to form on the inside of the microwave, especially when you are cooking food with a high-water content. This includes condensation that forms between the glass panes. The condensation will dissipate in time. You can also leave the door open to help it dissipate faster.

What can I buy to replace the smeg sa35mx with. As it’s built in and I need roughly the same size microwave.
My smog mirowave has stopped heating the food. I used it last night to cook vegetable and everything.Hong was fine. This morning I went to heat some food the lights and turntable are working but the food does not heat.
We have this model and loved it however, it seems that the heating component no longer works, it still turns,programmes,etc etc BUT does not heat. Any ideas or know how to getthis fixed

Why does my Smeg have a lot of condensation to the point it drips puddle on the kitchen floor

My SA35MX microwave has developed a problem with the touch panel.
I am a Tech so I checked this out and I require a touch membrane.
Can you supply this to me at a reasonable cost.
The oven has many good years remaining and it would be a shame to bin.

The display has gone out but the microwave still works as usual. Thankfully I know all of the settings without needing to look at the options, but when I have family over they have no idea how to use the microwave. How do I remove the cover to replace the display?
Due to possible electrical hazards . i cannot advise you how to remove the cover. Please organise a service technician to show you how to remove cover.
The time display on my DOSP6390X is only bright when I use the oven. At other times you can hardly see the time. How can I make it bright all the time.
Hi Rosetta the display goes dim for energy saving and can not be altered.

My SMEG SA35MX was replaced under warranty. In the first one I could turn off the bright display by holding down the clock button for a few seconds. This does not work on the new one. Can I turn off the display when the machine is not operating?
I didn't know you could do that in the first place, it sounds like these machines are hit and miss depending on which one you receive. Can't fault Smeg though, they got back to me the day after I put in a claim.
