Smith + Nobel HKT900-BK Questions & Answers
Well I won't be purchasing this item now thankyou for your honest review I'm going back to kmart there kettles last
Purchased my kettle end July 2019. Light comes on but Won’t heat the water. Is this still covered by warranty. Thankyou
Not sure, if you still have your proof of purchase give them a call, they should have a customer care number and ask what is the warranty on it, chances are that it is at most a 12 month warranty which may be out dated depending on when you purchased it
Thankyou , yes I have proof of purchase , it’s been 16 months. Would be disappointing if it is only a 12mth warranty on a $100 appliance that breaks down in such a short time. Will contact them tomorrow.
I have one kettle that has corrosion all around the bottom and also around the top won't be long before it starts leaking 8 months old and has been corroding from several months Find it almost impossible to work out how to contact smith and noble so I do hope you address this problem...…………... mimcorthouts@optusnet.com.au
Mine had a leak near the turn on switch so it went back and I got a replacement which is well over a year old now and no troubles. These kettles have a 12 month warranty, you should take it back to place of purchase for replacement - if you don't have receipt see if you can find something that links you to the store when you purchased it (eg: visa statement) - Harris Scarfe here in SA have Smith & Nobel products so you could contact them for advice on how to get in touch with S&N. Could also contact Product Safety Recalls at ACCC to complain.
