Buyers beware - Unreliable shipping with Poor customer experience
When I called their customer service about my order with “fast delivery in 1-2 business days” to find out whereabouts 3 days later when not delivered and nil tracking status, was basically told bad luck, no refund/cancellation and it’s my fault. Very, very surprised by this poor level of service.
Shipping option at checkout clearly states “Fast delivery (1-2 Business days)”. When my goods still hadn’t arrived after 3 days and a search of the Toll tracking number showed the item still not left their warehouse, something was not right.
Snowys ...customer service agreed it wasn’t right and then put me on hold to investigate with Toll. Less than a minute later, I was then told item will be delayed. This was surprising since I have received online packages interstate bought on the same day from small ebay sellers and large online companies, none of which I needed to pay express shipping for either. I asked for a refund since goods haven’t even left and shipping not what I expected. I was then told rather condescendingly, “sorry mate the item has been dispatched”. I said it hasn’t been shipped since the tracking number shows the item created but not even left, which they agreed.

Quality products at reasonable prices and awesome support
Snowys has the best range of quality gear at reasonable prices.
They also have a great support team handling claims and issues with delivery. They are only let down by Toll (their courier service). Toll was failing to deliver to my apartment 3 days in a row and they eventually left the parcel at a completely different house number. I was lucky enough to have good neighbours in a great neighbourhood who checked the boxes, went to the nearby house, called me on the intercom and let me in to pick up the boxes. I should note though that I was rea...lly impressed with the Snowys team who were doing everything possible to get the issue resolved so that I could get my order as quickly as possible. I think that Snowys are doing a great job and I recommend them highly.
Perfect camping goods store
I've bought numerous camping items on many occasions from Snowys in the past 18 months. They're the friendliest, most reliable and helpful store. They have so much helpful advice online, including instructional videos and walkthroughs, reviews and Q&A sections for every item that they sell. They're also available over the phone if you have other questions, and are always friendly, thorough and practical. They have great product knowledge and are not salesy.
Their prices are always competitive, they have a wide range of goods, delivery (Adelaide to Melbourne) is always quick, safe and free, and they're quick and reasonable to fix things if they ever go wrong.
I wish all online shopping was this simple, reliable and straightforward.

Only 4 days to Rural Darwin, boom it was here! Amazing. Easy online process. Thank you so much. I bought an MSR 2pot set. Am also surprised by Toll service even calling me later on after leaving a note at the gate. (I ticked to take to depot when nobody is home) Good service that was too. Good choice to use them.

Proper customer service
I called the online sales team yesterday to confirm that a product was in stock which they promptly informed me was. I ordered it online and it has just arrived 24 hours later.
Excellent Online service
Amazingly fast delivery. Ordering could not be more simple. Both orders I have made with Snowys were posted out on the same day of the order and delivered swiftly. Prices are very competitive, my items were well below or equal to other stores, in addition there were no delivery fees. Very happy with this company and I highly recommend them.

How can I give Snowys an 11 out of 10. YES, They are that good. Website is fantastic, images flawless, YouTube videos to assist my decision making was outstanding, checkout seamless, tracking and notifications sent to my inbox. The product was delivered in less than 24 hours. Wow! You'd be a fool to shop for camping goods anywhere else. Thanks Snowys, you have just gained a loyal customer.
Too many stars
Recently my partner ordered Black Wolf backpack from Snowys to replace a broken pack. When the product arrived it appeared a though it was a customer return or ex display as the heat sealed plastic bag the product supplied in by Black Wolf was torn open. Given this time of Covid 19 receiving a second hand product is totally unacceptable. As I needed the backpack for a walk on the weekend I was unable to return the bag which Snowys offered. Snowy's staff could not explain why the pack was opened. Guys plenty of better online suppliers out there who understand customer service.

My only experience with Snowys was mixed. I couldn’t get a look at a particular tent anywhere near my place, so relied on their online videos and descriptions, which didn’t work out in practice. The tent was really poor in the wet, something I haven’t had to worry about for years, and should have been made obvious on the website. It took a long time, but Snowys did finally resolve the issue, which was reasonably complicated.
Delivery was impressively fast, even during the holidays, but they do use Toll.
Take order and payment, then no goods for 2 months
Placed an order, item showed as in stock. Paid, then 4 days later I received notification my goods won't be available for over 2 months. I would not have ordered if I knew this. Poor form to do this.

Buyer beware. I never received my order, the responses from Snowy's have been delayed woeful to my trying to find out where my product was, and now they are just saying bad luck. Very poor. I see other people have experienced this. Will be going to consumer affairs next.
Uses Toll IPEC couriers exclusively. Be prepared for lost parcels and delays
Snowys is fine as a supplier/seller, up to the point when it comes to delivering their goods. They only offer shipping via Toll Couriers, and not others such as AusPost/Startrack. Toll is awfully unreliable.

Friendly service but poor stock experience
Ordered a clearance tent with 13 tents left on the website. Came back the next day and they were still showing stock of the tents online so I was sure I had been reserved one. A few days later and parts of my order were shipped without the tent. Had to call up to find why this had occurred and that there were stock shortages. Phone staff can't be faulted though, very friendly and helpful. Just had a poor experience with their stock count.

The best products with the best price. Free postage and products turn up in matter of days. I have bought everything from snowy’s online. Camp chairs cookers ozpig and accessories to sleeping bags and inflatable mattresses

Roman Swift x3 instant shelter
Holes in shelter. Won’t get replacement before holiday, be forced to keep it or buy another shelter elsewhere. Delayed claim
Good prices and very helpful staff. Delivery is unbelievable. I had the boots on my feet in Melbourne 20 hours after placing the order. I cannot speak highly enough of Snowy's. Thanks guys!
Best sales and support
I have bought a range of camping and hiking gear from Snowys over the past three years. They have always been excellent in processing, delivering and handling my queries. On the one occasion where I needed to return something faulty it was dealt with quickly and without dispute. These guys seem to really know the value of customer service.
Excellent service, good prices...couldn't use online portal with an iMac
The web site wouldn't let me checkout on my iMac. Tried the iPad..nope. Seems there online shop isn't liking Mac Safari. So had to use wives Chrome or whatever on her iMac. Worked great. This little speed bump wouldn't stop me from buying again. Although it was annoying as I buy heaps using this browser. I like the fact they post videos of the more popular products.
Questions & Answers
Greetings. I recently purchase a replacement dimmer for my yellow/white light setup. The new dimmer has got a different yellow connector (key locks)from my previous one and so doesn't connect up with the the 2 light bars through the Y connector piece. Please advise.
I assume you are referring to the Korr Camp Light Kits here Bwana?
If so, then as far as I am aware the fittings have always been the same. If you are still having problems here I'd suggest sending some photos of the fittings to email@example.com, we'll be in a better position to provide advice.
I bought the Coleman eventemp 3 burner stove. I want to use It with normal swap ‘n’ go gas bottle from garage. Do I need an adapter? If so, which type? There are so many to choose from.
Hi Di, assuming you are connecting to the 9Kg Swap and Go bottles which have a POL fitting, you'll you would need is one of these hoses - https://www.snowys.com.au/gas-hose-colemanbomunef-to-pol.
You need to keep the regulator attached to the stove and connect the hose to the regulator, then you can attach the other end of the hose to the gas bottle.
