the response time was lightning fast! I'm not even exaggerating but I had the money in my account within 2 days....! I had to take a day to sit and calm down before I made payments to pay off debt in one hit because everything happened so fast.... I can't even begin to describe the weight on my shoulders just dissipating. Society One...you did that. You gave me a 'chance' card....not only that but why wouldn't you sign up for a loan where you can pay it out as early as you like with no penalty (rewarding people who want to throw extra $$$ at the loan) and the repayments....so manageable. I have now an email inbox filled with messages from credit card companies and banks telling me my accounts with them are now closed and finalised. Society One...you did that! For anyone reading this novel, I absolutely, 100% recommend you apply with Society One...you will not be disappointed. There is a light at the end of your money troubles....and the batteries are being supplied by Society One. Thank you so much!!!!!

Worst experience ever – Everything ways going well and then I changed the bank account the payment was coming out of then for the next month. that they never received updated banking information and now they where going to charge my dishonour fee and put a blemish on my credit history. At this time I was planning to buy a new house soon, so this information made me very stressed, I hang up the phone as they would not reason with me. I called them back 30 minutes late and informed them I missed a payment because of them not changing the banking details and advised I wanted to pay off the loan. They gave me the amount and I paid it right there and then. Society one then sent me an email verifying the account was closed. Two months later checking my credit history and seeing that the society one loan was not closed, I informed them I had paid it off and sent them the verification email from society one that the account was closed. Three weeks later I get an email from society one stating that I owe them and my account was not closed and they were going to charge me with two months of miss payments and dishonour fees. I contacted the ombudsman, they where really no help. So I contacted society one, at this point I was really close to buying a new home for my daughters. Society one told me that if I didn’t pay the money that they would put a blemish on my credit history which would ruin my chances of a new home for my daughters, so I paid the money on 28 January because there’s nothing I could do there was no help society one just didn’t care. 20 days after I paid them the forced $1,300, I received emails and text messages stating I only had two days to pay the remaining balance and the account was not closed. So I had to call them again and now finally I have received my 2nd email verifying my account is closed.

I would not recommend society one

Actually saving money now, that we can put back on the loan (with no extra fees) because we aren’t paying multiple loans, it’s all just in a neat little package. Once a fortnight. Done. Next. Job.

They are personalised, you can email back and forth direct to your advisor. It’s simple, affordable, and the funds where transferred much quicker than expected. It’s how people should be treated, we just needed someone to take a chance.. Then when we get to a position when we invest in them, we will. Just as they invested in us.

Terrible Loan Company – Terrible Company. Avoid them! account. It has been downhill ever since. No Notification in January and February 2024.And in February attempted to take the payment on 28th.Impossible to speak to anyone. Then get a Default Notice. No where on the Website to lodge a Complaint and have since ignored all my emails

Fraud and scam done by societyone – I have enquired for a personal loan with societyone but never went ahead with the enquiry. They have been regularly taking money out of my account and i just realised now. Regular $178 out of my account without my consent and how they gained access to my account was that when enquiring about a personal loan, i had to login to my bank account through their website.

Credit Score Checks without authorisation – Do not have any dealings with this company!!! They check the credit rating without your consent and as a result it drops significantly!!! Terrible

Easy to get loan, annoying to maintain – The loan process itself is smooth, fees etc are pretty reasonable for this type of lending. They outsource everything from that point to MoneyMe who are intensely painful to deal with. Payments take days to clear and have to be done through their app, so you’re never sure if you’re up to date or not, and making a payment doesn’t stop them… Read more

harassing you for “late payment” and escalating fees. The fact you can only pay through their app, not by bank transfer, means it can take days to clear out of your payment account and can mess with your understanding of your balance. It’s not like other apps which take payment straight away so you see it reflected in your available balance. It’s also really hard to find your outstanding balance. So while the loan starts off as good as you could hope, the repayments are a nightmare to manage if you’re on tight funds.

Now Moneyme different – Since Moneyme have taken over this once great lending facility, Be careful not the same as before, ill-informed staff with little or no knowledge of lending criteria and reading pay slips, I used to be a good customer but too many bad experiences now and different since they have taken over, no more customer focus Show details

Extremely High Rates – Rates are way too high. Really unfortunate. I highly recommend you check out other lenders, OMM for example have a much lower personal loan rate. Show details

Delete my number you thieves – You have my mobile number which you have no right to and keep sending me texts. I never have and never will do business with someone so shady and dishonest. If you are genuine, delete my number and stop texting me. I can't even block your number because there is no number to block.

18% unsecured loan thats a good interest rate – Easy to talk to, easy application process, affordable repayments, all in all a good experience and they accept my application some to the wife for the house the rest for a car.
