Id be interested in knowing where else you suggest buying a wooden enclosure .I have done a lot of research online and have found Somerzby and Coops and Cages to be the only ones selling these large kind of wooden enclosures .I have a netting enclosure at the moment but am looking for something that offers weather protection so the cats can stay in it long term. Other than tiny ones suitable for rabbits there doesn't seem much else offered by other companies.

Hi Springside, I liked the fact that these could be extended with a run attached, but unfortunately we don’t have the room in the backyard. This one is well made and easy for two people to put together. Good luck in your decision!

I ended up buying a chicken tractor type of coop, made from metal. There might be good wooden ones out there but I had such an awful time buying from Somerzby (took them to the tribunal, they agreed to pay, then didn't pay agreed amount...i had to take them to court and get a garnishee order against their bank to get my money back!) that I didn't want to chance it. Farm and Yard have a reasonably priced tractor and Omlet sell plastic coops that are excellent quality too.

After reading these reviews, I'd be correcting assuming that I'd best look elsewhere?

Yes you can certainly find a better product elsewhere, you won’t find it with somerzby

Yes, do not buy from these guys. Our poor chickens were taken by foxes due to the very very poor quality of the coop.
