Hi Trevor, thank you for your question. What we have found from our own experience and the feedback from our clients is that if you continue to opt to sleep on your side, a shallow contour (both head and feet raised slightly) is perfect. However, with the variety of all the different positions and the support they offer, a lot of our clients end up becoming back sleepers, even though they could never sleep on their backs in a traditional flat bed. So having the adjustability really just gives you the choice to use the bed in a way that best suits you.

Before I had Sophie (mechanical bed), I put a pillow under my legs, thus avoid frequent night excruciating leg cramps. After I had Sophie, never did night cramps bother me. I always raise the leg part of the bed at bedtime. My being a side sleeper is not a bother.

I hope this helps. We purchased two King Sophie Singles and they fit perfectly within the Italian timber King Size bed frame. The frame size is as follows: Length of frame 207cm and Width of 185cm. Both beds' length is 203cm and the joint width is 183cm. They fit and operate perfectly and as intended.

Hi Melek, it really depends what size bed you have. We sell Split Queen, Split King and Split California King. All are 2 'single' beds beside each other, but all three are completely different widths.

Lastly, our beds are engineered to fit perfectly into the correct size bedframe, so in 99% of cases there won't be any issues with having your Sophie fitted to an new bedframe.

Yes my Sophie bed is 2 single mattresses the size of a queen size bed, they can change positions independently or you can gave them like a full size queen size bed, there is a small gap in the middle

Thank you, the 2 long singles, together are a king size bed. My question is do they come in different firmness levels, and what is the price for the mattresses alone and the price for the mattresses and bases, also do you have a showroom in NSW

Hi Jay, Thanks for your question. You definitely don't need to spin them. I also want to point out you CAN NOT flip them. Some of our clients, like the person who's commented above, prefer to spin them, and whilst it won't harm the mattress or base in anyway, it does make the mattress less effective at bending at the correct places. You see the mattress has specific cuts at the bend points, to help it more easily bend when you adjust the head and feet up and down.

A King sized bed is the biggest available. It takes king sized sheets. Single and king single sheets are far too small. Single sheets are for the smallest bed, for one person, like a child or teenager. King sized bed, king sized sheets.

HI Clive. It depends what size bed you have ordered. We have the dual king which is two long single mattresses, so the best answer I can give is to ask the Sophie Bed people using online chat or by phone and let them know what size bed you are getting and they can tell you exactly.

Whatever you do, don't buy any sheets from Sophie as they only just fit the mattress, you are better off buying them online, at least they fit.

Hi Civic, Our mattresses are 25.5cm or 10inches thick. With regards to "Ozzymac's" comments. We completely ran out of our sheets and to mitigate client complaints we went to a local supplier and ordered a small run of sheets to keep our customers happy. It would appear that they were a little too tight-fitting, however, our mainstay supplier makes a much better fitting product. We have of course reached out to Ozzymac to offer a replacement, however, are yet to hear back from them.

Our beds are weight rated to 360kgs Julianne. The highest weight rating in the market. Obviously, this is only possible due to the highest quality and engineering standards we have adopted here for all our products.
