Over the years, my experience with Optometrists have been poor, as I often feel rushed through the diagnosis process. For the first time today, I visited Specsavers at Southland Shopping Centre WA. My Optometrist was Tanveer, and I had the most pleasant experience. She was patient, and explained things clearly to me. I did not feel "rushed" and felt positive with the outcome. Show details
I would just like to thank Vinnie again and Joel for the amazing service that I received from them. I got my multi focal within 2 weeks and delivered and they were both very helpful and efficient. Thanks guys. Highly recommend specsavers. Show details
***DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILDREN HERE - UNSAFE PRACTICE*** My 17-year-old daughter went to the Brookside store to get her eyes checked by herself. To our horror she was advised she has a tumor behind her eye and NOT ONCE did the optometrist say, is it ok if we call your parents as this is serious. The optometrist wrote on a Specsavers business card… Read more
and said go and see an eye specialist in the valley, also this so-called medical professional didn't even have the courtesy of writing down what she thought her condition was or print out a letter. **UPDATE** After urgent checks at the Mater hospital and also the Mater eye clinic - NO Tumor was found at all. Specsavers you put us through absolute HELL! - A formal complaint has been made to Qld Heath, I will keep this post updated.

Urgently needed new spectacles when the arm broke a few days before leaving for an interstate wedding. The Specsavers store were fantastic, arranging contact lenses in short timeframe. I also purchased an emergency pair of glasses during Black Friday Sale as backup set. 2year quality warranty & a proud partner with Fred Hollows Foundation which I have supported for 40+ years. Having purchased glasses at Specsavers for the past four years I will never ever go there again. I would luckily and happily pay $1000 per pair to OPSM to not deal with Specsavers ever again at Coomera. Arguing with the customer when they are right just to have an invalid point or to make a stand is a very immature position for a business owner and manager . Show details
Few months ago , had my specs made at Mount Druitt SPEC SAVER. THey always have these promotions buy 2 for $199.00..... .Thinking that it's good value for money I brought 2 pairs . On wearing them the edges near the back are so rough ,they kept on pulling my hair or getting hooked on to them . So I took them back and showed ,he changed them to… Read more
these plastic slip on type . As you can see them . Must say they are made of such cheap quality that it's torn and poking on the backside of my ear . Please don't rip customer off by selling cheap products .
Specsavers spectacles used to be reliable. The quality of the frames are useless. Both my wifes and my own frames have broken at the hinge, and get this! They wont replace them. Have bought framea and glasses from Specsavers for years, but their quality has been lost. Will never buy Specsavers glasses again and I will be presenting my case to Fair Trading. Sally Wallz was my Hearing Test Technician. She was extremely thorough, accurate, knowledgeable & hard-working. She went through all the tests, thoroughly & was helpful, in regards, to choosing the right Hearing Aids for my requirements. She went through, in detail, how to put on, maintain & care for my Hearing Aids. Thank you, so much. I highly recommend this Hearing Test Technician, Sally Wallz & Tea Tree Plaza Specsaver's Store, Modbury, S.A. Show details · 1
I purchased two pairs of glasses from Specsavers, and unfortunately, I’ve had repeated issues with the screws becoming loose, causing the glasses to fall apart. Despite being under warranty, I was told that the damage was not covered because it was deemed as a result of improper use. I specifically used the recommended cleaning products provided… Read more
by Specsavers. I hope the company can improve their customer service and product quality in the future. I definitely do not recommend buying from Specsavers based on my experience.
Uncomfortable to use glass due to not frame adjustment and pain in back of ear. I got this glass from Ringwood at Eastland shopping center and asked to fix it for several times and still had same problem. Show details
I had a great experience at Specsavers North Rocks. The staff were very helpful, especially Paul—he was absolutely fantastic! He assisted with repairing and exchanging my broken glasses quickly and professionally. His customer service was outstanding, and he made the whole process smooth and stress-free. Highly recommended!

While on holiday recently I sat on my multifocal glasses which I had not long purchased from Specsavers in my hometown. They were unwearable but the Mackay branch were able to fix them within half an hour and at no charge. That’s got to be the best service I’ve had in a long time. Thank you to the lovely staff at Specsavers! Show details
Follow-up · Being half frames there is a thin metal wire which holds the lens in place at lower edge. Both of these were snapped and needed to be replaced. The lenses had completely popped out but luckily were not scratched and the frames weren’t bent.
I am writing to formally complain about my recent experience at Specsavers Werribee. I purchased two pairs of glasses less than three months ago—one for work and one for driving. Shortly after, I returned to the store because I was experiencing… Read more
difficulties with both pairs. I explained that my work glasses did not allow me to clearly view two computer screens, and my driving glasses made it difficult to see the dashboard and steering wheel controls.
I was extremely concerned when I was informed that the optometrist did not believe my concerns. I have been a long-term Specsavers customer and have never previously had issues with my glasses.
I attended a follow-up eye test as requested, only to be told I would need to pay an additional $230 to correct the glasses I had already paid over $400 for. No reassurance was provided regarding a refund if the issue remained unresolved. I was also disappointed by the unprofessional behaviour of staff, including visible eye-rolling while discussing the matter with colleagues.
This experience does not reflect Specsavers’ stated commitment to quality or customer care. I am requesting that this matter be reviewed and appropriately resolved.
Follow-up · My second pair of glasses was satisfactory and resolved the issue.
Spec Savers I went to Spec Savers at Hornsby with my partner (S) to purchase a new set of multi-focal glasses. As it was the 31st of Dec, the store was quite busy but to the store management’s foresight, there were plenty of staff on hand. The first… Read more
assistant to see my partner, E--a (E) was a very helpful girl who knew her way around the software system and was very well versed with the packages available to S on her healthcare plan. After about ten minutes of discussion, S was able to get a set of thin, intermediate reading multi-focal lenses at a price that was agreeable to her. E then organized an eye test with the optician and about 20 minutes latter S was ready to select a suitable frame. This is where the wheels started to fall off the trolley as the consultant that was to help S with frame selection disappeared off to help another customer, never to return so S had to find a suitable set of frames by herself and she was very unhappy about this situation. S went to look for E so she could finish the purchasing process and was instead approached by a boy named A--x (A). A was not a pleasant person right from the get-go and what made matters worse is that A had to have S go through the entire process she had already been through with E. S complained to A and asked why he could not just use the information E had put on the system as a way to save both of them time. A did not know the system as well as E so A could not see what had been created by E. A told S they were busy and that he did not appreciate her complaining and that he did not feel he should have to provide service to her because of her complaining. S suggested A get E to serve her and A told S that if she did not like his attitude, he would discontinue to provide service and S could leave the store empty handed. Furthermore A stated that S was not entitled to seek assistance from the store manager so it was his entitled attitude or leave the store. At this point S felt she was bullied into accepting A’s snooty attitude if she wanted to have a new set of glasses so she decided to put up with the entitled poor attitude. When A asked S to put on the glasses to measure for lense setting she complained that the lenses had so many dirty marks on them it was going to be difficult for her to see through them. A told S that if she wanted to have clean lenses, she would have to ask him to clean them for her, something she felt A would have known to do without being asked. During the entire exchange between A and S, A at no time said please or thank you and at one time when A asked S to do something with the glasses she suggested he say please, which he refused to do. I could have interjected during the exchange but this would have been more degrading for my already cranky, bullies partner so I left it to her. Normally we would have gone to Chatswood and because most of the staff are Asian, manners and courtesy are not in short supply. There is no young person entitled attitude with the Chatswood store. In hindsight I would have insisted my partner have the store manager called over with a view this would have removed the entitled attitude and calmed the process down. While in this case it was Spec Savers, where you encounter this type of entitled bullying attitude from staff, make a bit of a scene and insist that the store manager get involved otherwise, the bad entitled attitude will endure.
Follow-up · The eye test was rushed and based on the final product, not sure if it was good or not. Interestingly she did go back and get her glasses and when she put them on she had trouble with the mid range focal area but was assured the eyes would adjust, they did not. They were actually quite dangerous as when walking down steps the depth perception was… Read more

I had my sunglasses made at Specsavers, Parramatta Westfield (Shop 1150, Level 1). Within just a month, we noticed a scratch on the lens. When we went back to the store, the customer service representative initially spoke with us, but another staff member, Ms. Payal, interrupted and immediately insisted the damage was our fault without even… Read more
hearing us out. The sunglasses were sent to the lab for assessment, and we later received a call saying no defect was found and that we could collect them. However, when I went to pick them up, the staff couldn’t locate the glasses. Instead of taking responsibility, Ms. Payal told the staff to ask me to “come back tomorrow” because it was closing time. The entire experience—from being blamed without proper assessment to the disorganized handling of my glasses—was incredibly frustrating. This was truly horrible customer service, and I expected far better from a well-known brand like Specsavers.
My Husband and I went to take my glasses and were asked to wait while the lady who was to give it too me apparently went too lunch without no one notifying us and then we found out that she hadn't in fact been to lunch but went and did something in the stock room instead. time, 1st time they did a mistake with my glasses. Hearing from them we are sorry felt it wasn't genuine only after I posted a review that they found the problem. I won't go back nor recommend specsavers. I see they just want to sell glasses . They gave us the glasses but won't go back as they are still wrong.
Why did you waste my time in having a hearing test for the second time even though I was told I had a wax build in my right ear, only be told at the end of the test I’ll need t have my ear cleaned , I don’t understand why the test went ahead Show details

Another sell out company with no morals; I have been a customer for a number of years and like all other companies' greed has made the price and marketing a scam, I had a golden ticket after a recent purchase which said it would give 50% of a second pair. recent private extras cover. the price was similar too 2 pairs I purchased just over 12 months ago and that included one pair with transition lenses which is a $100 extra, which I did not include this time. Private insurance is considered a special offer an invalidated the golden ticket. so last time 2 pairs one with transition was just over $700 with no insurance of golden ticket, this time with same price frames with golden ticket and $260 insurance discount if I added transition lenses $655 so $50 less than last time with golden ticket and $260 insurance rebate, sorry Specsavers you are now officially a scamming rip off
Nick and Kiara on the audiology team are truly exceptional, it’s like visiting a friend. They both go out of their way to help you along the journey embracing hearing aids. Ten out of five.
Today, I experienced exceptional service from Specsavers, Logan Hyperdome. My request from them was unreasonable (should have made an appointment), but they accommodated me nonetheless. They put themselves out for this grateful customer. Show details

Purchased prescription 2 x sunglasses and 1 reading glasses. Individual people were very good and helpful. Initially1 sunglass and reading glasses had to be remade. will my family visit specsavers and put up with this manager's attitude to save her replacing the lens for the second time.
Took specs in. Just needed a screw replaced. Said I had doctor's appointment and would come back in 45 mins. when I came back - couldnt do it - too busy... said no prob - will come back in a week. Got a call two days later 'can't be fixed - arms are too bent' - 'what? they worked even with sticky-tape holding them together...' 'if you want to buy a new set of...' 'Goodbye. Thanks for no help' Show details
