I spoke with DAR today. I had a loading problem with my nbn. Loading just about everything was not good. This was my 2nd call since I became a client. Last time nothing was fixed. This time I must say everything is working and Dar explained everything to me which helped me follow his instructions and all has been fixed. I do hope that Dar is rewarded for this call. I couldn’t get the internet to work in my new house. Between the Spintel tech and myself we established that some Ethernet links were missing between the NBN box and my house Ethernet cables. The technician (Mel) was excellent in explaining what and how to check things. Show details

disconnecting and reconnecting leads to the Modem and the house phone. I was very impressed with her patience and ability to have my phone receive incoming calls. Being an elderly lady it was excellent to have Heidie's assistance. I would recommend Heidie in any situation of her work. My house phone is now working perfectly and all thanks to Heidie.

Spintel had Mary level customer service. That customer service stands out accross industries e.g. banking, energy, government. Spintell understands the customer - fix my problems and price competitively.

Maecrena (MAEC) was so helpful helping to navigate me through the problems arising with my signup to SpinTel and arising complications with NBN upgrades. What impressed me about MAEC was the taking ownership of the matter and maintained communications with me. I didn't have to sit on chat, MAEC sent me a txt a few hours latter letting me know when the matter had progressed; and though the matter isn't yet resolved, MAEC and Spintel have impressed me because they seem to keenly know that customers will understand that things can go wrong, but they understand that customers don't want to waste their time.

Update: MAEC advise me the following morning that all matters that required 'Spintel Back of House' to liaise with NBN Co had been resolved. My switch to Spintel has been completed. Where matters arose, MAEC made the resolution easy, with clear communication and maintaining ownership of the customer.

was the exact same reason I left Iprimus after many years. One of the reasons. I hope it doesn't become a habit for Spintel.

The practice of adding on charge increases, while expected with inflation, but without notification, has caught me out multiple times. Sure, the "new charges" are given in the email and listed without explanation in the bills; there is some responsibility on me as a customer to proactively check. But when a declined fee incurs a $5 dishonour fee from the bank followed by a $15 late fee from Spintel, the lack of effort to adequately notify customers of price charges feels like bad faith. Or benefitting from easily avoidable fees.

My feedback to Spintel is to continue to hear these cases individually and with understanding, as has been my experience with the human agents, BUT ALSO to send out seperate communications when there is a price increase. It will go a long way to making a customer feel cared for.

I like to share my unpleasant experience in the past when my TV lost connection and every time I tried to reconnect I got message "NETWORK NOT FOUND"I was unable to get in touch with any personnel for endless waiting on recorded message. Then I had to call in the technician from the Geeks2U who rescued me and advised to change the Router. I paid him $158.00. Then I bought new Router from the Company for $249.95. I was very upset with the recorded messages practice deployed by the Company. However, I am happy that now the Customer Service is available and problems can be discussed and resolved. Satisfied customer.

Mia was pleasant enough but to order new modem was not easy. Your website is clunky and I had to make 3or 4 attempts before my order was successful. It asked me for a referral code which I didn’t have. Then Mia’s name didn’t appear on the list of people who helped me. It’s not professional in my opinion. Beware of this company and it's worst company policy in billing system. With the excuse of so called terms-condition, charged for almost 21-22 unused days. When compared to other internet plans in the market, really found that these guys anyway charged you more even for 20 MBPS plan compare to the market, whereas other companies gives you at least 25-50 mbps in the same price.

Don't waiste your money! I joined Spintel mid last year. Since then I have had constant drop outs. God help you if you need them on the weekend because their 'tech support' isn't open on weekends. Today they tried to tell me my connection issues were due to the fact my modem wasn't configured properly. When I asked them why they didn't mention this in June last year, they couldn't answer me.
