WARNING This company rips off long term users - we have been with them several years over which time they have raised our plan to$93 per month and I can jump in and but the identical plan (nodiscounts) for $55 per month. We had no internet connection from Thursday night, 23 April 2026. On Friday morning, 24 April, we contacted SpinTel by phone. A technician called MEL was extremely helpful and spent a lot a time guiding us patiently step by step to eventually reset the modem until the internet connection was re-established. I had to have my home phone connected to the internet as I have had a new Modem installed recently. Dar was so good and patient today helping me to connect it properly. She was really good so many thanks to her.

Cherry was exceptionally helpful. I had an issue and she was empathetic and cheerful. She suggested an escalation. She keep me informed through the process and then provided me with an outcome. Sadly, for now, I've had to terminate my account with Spintel. Charm was the customer service person I spoke with . Cherry was absolutely delightful, she is an amazing worker her positive attitude and personality is definitely what us costumers need more of! I would rate her a 10/5 if I could!!!

I used the text chat to help me set up a new modem as it was having issues connecting to the internet (wifi and other lights working). asked the bot to put me onto a person, which it did promptly, which is great.

I didnt have a lot of indication from there that i was being put onto someone else and had to wait maybe 10-15 minutes before i had a response. I dont think this is an unreasonable wait time but if there is a way to have a better idea that im still in queue and not a closed chat, that would be my one suggestion.

Once connected with a person (Xyra) they apologised for the wait and were very helpful, providing helpful screenshots of where i needed to go and good instructions on what to do.

Very disappointed with SpinTel. I was on a $50 international calling plan and stopped using international calls as soon as I received the notification that my allowance was exhausted. However, SpinTel charged me nearly $200 in excess international call fees. The issue is that the SMS usage notification was sent around 24 hours late. I had no way… Read more

of knowing I had exceeded my allowance until I finally received that message. I raised this with SpinTel and explained that I acted immediately once notified, but they have refused to acknowledge the delayed notification and are insisting I pay the full amount.

This is extremely poor practice and places all the risk on the customer, even when the provider’s notification system fails. Be very careful when signing up with SpinTel, especially if you rely on usage alerts to manage your costs.

Deborah from the tech support was an absolute GEM after doing her investigations she directed me to a speed test site but i was getting completely lost. I had service interruption issue on my 5g internet service. Janice has helped me greatly today not only clarified all my queries, did service testing, but also provided me lots of hints on how to deal with service issues in the future, and she also suggested that I review some alternate internet plans from spinel which may be more suitable for my usage.
