Terrible customer service! The Spotlight Online phone number takes you to a call centre outside of Australia and they don't really care I've discovered! Spotlight will let customers who shop in person in a physical store buy just 10cm fabric as a sample but the minimum online online amount is 1 metre!!! from their online store which isn't the right colour so I tried phoning a physical store only to be told that they cant take payments over the phone! So Im stuck with buying 1 metre of fabric online if I want to see a sample to colour match!!! I live in a remote area so am unable to visit a store! I tried phoning the online number and found that I can only speak to someone overseas! This is terrible customer service!!!!! I suggest shopping elsewhere if you can!

the $695 I had paid. There was nowhere on their website that clearly stated this, and after I sent through comparison photos of the advertised rug versus what was actually received, Spotlight eventually agreed to provide a full refund.

However, despite this, it has now been over a month and I still have not received my money back.

The updates provided throughout this process have been completely pointless, with no proper or clear information ever given. I have had to continuously chase Spotlight myself for answers, only to be ignored for days at a time. The tracking information they sent was also confusing, showing the rug as “delivered” on 13/05 and then somehow “out for delivery” again on 15/05, despite the rug being collected back on 08/05.

What makes this even worse is that Spotlight kept blaming delays between themselves and their supplier, when that should never have become my problem as the customer. I purchased directly from Spotlight, not their supplier.

The lack of communication, accountability, and urgency has been beyond disappointing. As a single mum waiting on a significant refund, this entire process has caused unnecessary stress and financial pressure. I would strongly reconsider purchasing online from Spotlight again after this experience.

Sort out your stuff Spotlight and give me back my money!

register and sign up as a VIP to go to a store you also need to reregister to shop on line. It is not the same as your VIP details at a store. I phoned to the local store manager who is always been amazing and helpful for help. She also complained their system is poorly designed and the store staff no longer get access to customer purchases history to assist with re ordering. There is no customer service phone number on their website, they want you to write to them so you won't waste your time, and they will never reply to so I got the customer service number 1300305405 from a staff member at the local store. Yep it was a oversea call centre and not very helpful. My company also purchase a lot of picture frames for work. Spotlight stocks and sells a product made by "Frame Depot" . WARNING do not bother with this product, they are poorly made from MDF and a single staple in each corner and they fall apart if you just look at them . We originally purchased 12 - 50cm x 70 cm frames ( $40 each ) and three were broken when we unpacked them. and 2 mounted frames just collapsed with the glass smashing all over the floor 3 months later. I hope this review gets back to the Field family who own Spotlight, Anaconda and Harris Scarf outlets because I won't spend my money but more importantly waste my precious time with a company that does not put their customers shopping experience first. at least companies like Ikea knows how to provide customer service.

Ordered blinds 5/1/26 two of the six blinds were the wrong size. No call centre so lodged a complaint online, took them till the 6th of Feb to advise incorrect size stickers may have been used on the boxes. Once opened all the blinds come with metal brackets hard against the blinds so all six are scratched and dinted some of the wood is cracked.

Avoid ordering anything online from Spotlight, they do not take care to ensure the product ordered is properly protected and do not take ownership of their own issues.

Cannot return Purchased 5 frames while waiting for prints to arrive but the frames did not fit right when they arrive. Tried to return however apparently these are “special order” items even though they are premade and boxed and not custom made at all. Tried to leave a review on their website but it was declined as it was not positive.

Bought a high quality Fiskars 5L pot in 2023 and the handle just snapped off at the welds almost causing a burn. I received my mirror today, smashed! No packaging, just a cardboard box with tape. No bubble wrapped mirror. No fragile stickers. Just a mirror with thin cardboard wrapped around and taped!! How can a package make it out of the store like this? Why would someone think it was o.k???

They’re absolutely horrendous. Every single call with them is like starting from scratch in describing all the things that have gone wrong. The installation is now 3 months delayed, we had the wrong curtains installed and the tracks don’t work properly. Please avoid the mental anguish of working with them and choose something else

 Follow-up  · There were another 2 fruitless visits where the installer didn’t bring the right parts despite calls with them to clarify the issue multiple times. We finally got the correct installation at the end of May. It was supposed to be done by the end of January

went ahead and placed the order anyway, thinking that I could follow up with customer service and be reimbursed the $40. I emailed customer service that same evening and got a response a few days later. Unbelievably, they said they couldn't honour the voucher because they didn't receive the email until the 24th, one day after it expired. That I had sent the email and tried to use the voucher on the 23rd, while it was still valid, they just completely discarded. I won't be shopping at Spotlight again!

 Follow-up  · Since my initial review, I followed up further with Spotlight. They eventually saw sense send refunded me the $40.

I order large amounts of fabric online. I cannot fault the quality of the product and the service provided. Delivery to my address is prompt and after service is excellent. They are certainly five stars.

I haven't ordered much from spotlight but it shipped quickly and received in a reasonable time frame. And when my other order was out of stock they let me know by email and refunded me. Which is good as I have other well known businesses not notify me or do anything until a week later when I ask about why it hasn't shipped and another not bother to refund when they said they would and had to put in a dispute as they wouldn't respond.

metre fabric for change of mind. This is not a change of mind. I wanted this material but needed 65m . This is a failure to supply and there error. Had they advised prior to shipping they couldn't not fulfil in full the order, I would have requested them to cancel the order. So a warning to others - do not purchase bulk fabric online if its an all or nothing project like mine I'm now out of pocket over $500.

months i need to call head office to arrange a refund on a weekday as they cant find it in the system. The mop was used roughly 7 times before ceasing to work; this order has resulted in hours of driving and hassle. If the item is online only and electrical I would pass on this purchase and go for in store.

epic delays in emails being sent out to inform of the decision. Most other places have 30days click and collect and other Places have options to select a collection date. Between store and phone customer service there was no compassion or empathy even after explaining that a medical emergency situation that arised unexpectedly, saying that I should have prioritised contacting the store about my order over a 3yo child’s emergency medical needs.

the blinds, not the two required. And only one mingey cleat provided to wind VERY long cord. This means the cord has to be looped, making it a choking hazard for kids. I requested additional cleats be sent with installer at second visit -nothing. Subsequently asked for them to be sent in the post - nothing.

Do not order anything over $50...you won't see your order. Bought thousands of dollars worth of curtains, haven't received after 2 weeks and I can't even find anyone to get answers.
