curtains in the bathrooms, also didn’t do any check lists at the end, didn’t test the water or gas, didn’t even finish the painting they stuck 15 blue stickers around of where they need to paint and left it all, didn’t even clean the house I had to get my own cleaner and own painter after I’ve been given the key and now they don’t want to even reimburse me for the painting which I was told they would. The design is shocking for a 358 square meter block they’ve not used the space well at all , I don’t even have a laundry room the laundry’s just their in the hall way, their was missing bricks, missing downpipes house left a mess and their plainly rude and don’t show any empathy for having me waste thousands on an investment property that should’ve been finished months ago but because of the incompetence and lack of care I was left with the worst experience

the way, they finished off strong with a key handover under 12 months as promised. Even the neighbours feedback was positive witnessing the trades workmanship and a clean tidy worksite all the way.
Appreciate Grace who emailed with regular updates which gave me peace of mind as I do not live locally and could not see the progress of the build consistently.
Overall Status met my expectations and delivered what was promised. I would highly recommend Status and would definitely build with them again when the times right!

liaison team were fantastic—very communicative and kept us updated throughout, which really gave us peace of mind. A special mention goes to our site supervisor, Dave. He was thorough, reliable, and genuinely cared about the quality of the build. During inspections, he picked up on things that needed fixing and made sure they were done properly. He also made the PCI process enjoyable! Overall, we’re very happy with the quality of our new home and really grateful for the team (especially Dave) who made the process a positive one in the end.

fall for you delay this you will loose on the price and it will increase from next week. if you already building check for the workman ship and be ready for delayed .................very delayed support from the builder for maintanence. Be prepared to list to the words like THIS IS THE STANDARD ACCROSS/ THIS IS HOW WE DO and etc. Make sure you read the contract in detail, check what is included (look for small to small to small things ) coz after you sign the contract anything and everything you ask for will be costed with high price and if you missed it IS YOUR FAULT THAT YOU HAVE NOT CHECKED/INFORMED BEFORE and THIS IS NOT THEIR STANDARD.
in a NUT SHELL, many options out there which are better value. DONT HURRY it is a long term decision.

anyway the market price got raised and why don't I pay some extra along with the sitework costing....
Due to financial approval limits, they forced me to withdraw the contract and looted the deposit money of $3500.
While I tried to contact them requesting the refund, the contact person was rude and very much unprofessional, in a harsh threatening note that I should not bother about the money I paid them, and I am wasting his time, whereas they were very nice and professional while doing the sale.
He also sent an email, stating that the deposit paid has been spent on surveys, engineer's reports, plans and admin costs and they need not justify where and how my deposit was spent.
I am sure those cost should be charged from the actual buyers of the property.
Now I regret signing the contract with such an unprofessional team, sure they might have looted another 50K by the end of construction completion.

have done a few homes in the estate and have been good to work with. I think it was over the space of 2/3 weeks where I had my phone call with Sean and then putting a deposit down and locking Status in as my builder.
The build did take longer than what I was originally told, but the reality is that all builders went through this and some worse than others (neighbour is 2.5yrs and counting for a 3x2) There were changes to the original spec, due to discontinued items, long lead times, availability of materials. At the time we were really hoping to get into our place asap as we were living in between places; so we were stressed and worried we might fall victim to waiting months and months without any certainty of when we’d actually be able to move in. Luckily the total build wasn’t too delayed and the quality has been good with a few exceptions.
Some of these issues were resolved around 1.5yrs after moving in. However there have been some recurrent issues like water not draining properly in the ensuite which has led to corrosion and tile discolouration. It’s been almost 3 years since we moved in, and some simple fixes and this more complicated one still hasn’t been resolved. The aftercare support has been in stark contrast to the level of communication we received throughout the build. The maintenance supervisor Mat has been great to deal with, often following up for us, and doing his best to fix what he can. But it seems some issues are out of his hands.
Reflecting back on the whole experience and after experiencing the quality of the build first hand for 3 years now, we thought Status Residential was better than most of the builders out there during Covid. Though, we are currently building our second home now with a different builder and we have so far had a far more seamless experience, keeping in mind that the pressures of Covid don’t apply to the current build. We decided to go with a different builder because of the very delayed support we have so far been receiving from Status. It sort of felt like that after completing the build, the same level of effort and care we had experienced completely tailed off.
Overall, Status Residential is very aware of their capability and what is achievable and I appreciated that my very demand or wish wasn’t satisfied without question. When I was shopping around, other salespeople (with other builders) essentially said yes to whatever I wanted and looked to do anything and say anything to get me through the door as soon as possible. I instead appreciated that with Status, I was given the truth about what to have (finished, amenities, floor plan, colours etc) and what’s achievable and suitable for a home that we are looking to rent out in the future.
I had previously been recommending Status Residential to family, friends and colleagues. Unfortunately after having to deal with the same issues for almost 3 years with no resolution, I can no longer provide the same glowing 5/5 review I once did.

there were a few delays at this stage but in total everything was finished well and truly on schedule. The quality of the build is top notch, our building inspector found very few faults with the final build at inspection (only minor paint touch up's and a few clean up's).
