Avoid Steeline Garages Doors - products faulty and lack of any customer service!
Steeline garage was contracted through our builder and installed 2023 October.We had issues from the get go, dented panel/missing garage button and loud grinding garage operation. At one stage, the garage fell off the roller and damaged the newly acrylic render garage wall.
We have contacted Steeline on many occasions with either no answer or saying that have forwarded my details to the supervisor/manager and will get back to me. Even if I get through, the customer service books a technician in, they do not show up at the booked time or just s... Read morehow up whenever they feel like it. I work all week and do not have the luxury ducking out and meet them on short notice. Its currently Mar 2024 and I am still trying to arrange someone to come out and inspect the installation. I am no garage expert, but the bracket look like not even installed straight might which I suspect is causing the excess grinning noise. At this rate, I am fearful the garage will fail and drop on my cars and it will be a nightmare on insurances claims.
Zero Customer Service
Numerous emails to get a quote for 3 replacement doors have been a waste of time. Each time I've been met with someone will be in touch and nothing.Needless to say I now no longer want to hear from them and having now looked at other reviews it's quite easy to see that they have zero customer satisfaction and zero customer service ethics.

Serious process issues. No follow up
Garage door was installed in June 23, after several delays. Cut out at bottom of door was done very shabbily then patched on site by the subcontractor who installed it. I was aware that the door would require a cut out & they even charged me $100 for this in their quote. I was not prepared for the terrible job that was done of it. Hi I have had two steel line roller doors controls fail all remotes don't work and wall mount don't work also on both doors one went 4 months ago the other this week yet if I go up top to push the up & down buttons green and red it all works is there a replacement circuit board available please remotes still work for third door so they are good still even swapped button positions on remote to make sure it wasn't the remotes or batteriesDear Mars, thank you for your feedback. Very unprofessional
Had very disappointing service from this company. When installing our roller door they made a dent which was reported to them in October 2023. Ever heard from them at all until mid January when a guy came out only to be told it will take another 3-4 weeks for it to be made. Told them I’m only available Monday or Friday due to night worker. They rang my husband last Friday to say that they will be coming without any notice. I tried to call which went to message bank and also sent text message. I told them yes but I need notice as I’m not going to sit waiting for them every Friday and Monday until they return. But she kept talking over me. Then the manager came on the phone raising her voice and not letting me have my say at all so I hung up. When I tried to call them back asking for a manager to call me I was told that she was in a meeting and would call back but she never did. Have sent numerous messages to find out when they would be coming so that we can move cars out of the garage to they can get entry but no reply and still waiting. Also when they put the garage door in they never drilled it to any metal at all. So about 6 weeks ago I opened the garage door and the heavy metal arm came crashing down missing my head by inches. They sent someone out to repair it the next day. But when he was repairing it he dented my husband’s vintage jaguar. I would never recommend this company what so ever. bad install, poor service, not honor warranty

We understand that you're disappointed that the recent extreme weather event that caused damage to your door, however as you did not request or order a cyclone rated door, this is not a valid warranty claim. We understand that the branch manager has provided you a quote for replacement and advised that the spring issue on the other door can be rectified with a service and he is awaiting your response. Our 30 year old Steel Line garage roller doors were still working but the motors sometimes behaved erratically.We decided to have new doors and motors and an external key pad, as well as the standard remotes, so that the doors could be opened by family members when we aren't home. We just give them the code.
We also chose to have the Powermesh controller that works with the Zimi cloud.
I can open and close the doors using my phone wherever I am.
The installers were punctual after a late change of their starting time.
They were very efficient and left everything tidy when they finished.
Problem solved quickly and efficiently
Replaced my electric motor after they installed it in July 2002 when we built the house.I have been back to steel-line numerous times since our original purchase in 2002 for parts and advice.

We had our steel roller doors replaced a few weeks ago and everything from the initial phone consult, inspection and installation process was so simple.Our installer was incredibly polite and very knowledgeable. He gave us some recommendations on motors for the future, tips on how to maintain the doors and just was an all round top guy.
We’re happy with quality of the doors and the service.
Questions & Answers
My steel-line garage door opens and closes fine with the remote. The wall button never works on the first push, it usually takes 2 to 4 tries to get the door to open or close.
