My stiga combi753se has a round fulcrum to adjust the handlebar to different angles, problem is The fulcrum has become slack, don’t know how to tighten it. I don’t want to force anything in case I break it, took the nuts and bolts from the bottom if the fulcrum But it dosent get you inside th tighten the big nut . Can anyone surest how to take off the round fulcrum.

To use the pull cord do I have to still turn key to on and do all the safety switches need to be made apart from the seat as under seat cheers
why wont my park brake engage
Hey Wayne Make sure the blades are disengaged then push down hard on the park brake. If this doesn’t work it may need adjustment.

I bought a stage Combi Ride on Mower 14 month ago,It worked fine until the Cutter or Deckbelt Broke ,I had the machine back to the Retailer 4times for Repair Belt replacement,Now every Time I get it Back the belt jumps off or whatever the cutter does not work ,Any suggestion for the repairer how to fix this problem permanently? Either incorrect belt, incorrect belt tension or your grass is too long for the mower. In this case try increasing blade height. Also make sure you’ve set the engine rpm to max before engaging cutting blades.
I bought a STIGA Combi Ride on mower A year ago,I was very happy with the Machine,but it broke the cutting Belt 1Month ago,We took it back to the Dealer for Repair ,since then the mower has been back to the Dealer 3 Times as the belt keeps disengaging and stops cutting grass.Can anybody HELP to fix the Problem?For a Company which started making mowers 1934 this is very disappointing,Not a good recommendation ,or is it the incompetence of the Dealer Repair Mechanic.What happens if the mower is in the outback of Australia and no mechanic far and wide Farmers are usually very good at fixing things if a workshop manual is available (if so where to buy) Werner Quaas (aussieflyman2@gmail.com)
Hello Werner, I had the same issue, it drove me mad. Just kept coming off or not cutting level. It beat me and I just went and bought a Husqvana instead. We used it for towing a trailer around for the kids but now it wont start, just clicks. Trying to get into the start motor is a nightmare. Have you had this issue? Regards Alan

Stiga Combi will not start with cutting gear engaged or if your foot is on the forward/reverse pedal. If you are mowing disengage the cutting gear and try to start the Combi. Ensure that the cutting gear lever is pushed to the right and far forward as possible. Hope this solves your problem.

Some of these mowers came from the factory with incorrect valve lash. Hence to engine won't budge when trying to start.

Hi, my Stiga combi is starting perfectly, I release brake and is on full throttle but as soon as I try to reverse or go forward it stops, any ideas on what would be causing this? Thanks Leah
Check that the catcher is attached properly. It will stop if the catcher is off or not fitted properly thus not actuating the safety micro switch

Hi Kerrie, sounds like you need a new blade. We tried all sorts of things but in the end it was simply a bent blade, I think it cost around 70 bucks.
Engine will turn over but won't start only a new mower
Make sure you have the blade disengaged and the throttle lever all the way on full "down" Failing that it can only be electrical or fuel problem in which case get the seller involved under warrantee.
I service them, and even with a brand new fully charged battery, the engine doesn't turn over fast enough. Battery is far too small in my opinion.
Hey Mate, does this mower have the capacity to tow a wheelbarrow cart? specifically a gorilla cart?
