I'm with everyone else here. The cutting head is a POS is there any other heads that will work with this trimmer?
You are correct and no there is no other head. I will never buy another still product because of this
Why can't I find replacement parts?
We have had the FSA 57 for 3 seasons. The weight and power is good and with the AK30 battery we can cover alot of ground. It has started to make a screeching sound, like a bearing might be dying. Is this repair possible or is our best option to buy anther weed eater?

My FSA 57 has twine wrapped around the shaft. How do I remove the twine?
Remove the head complete as per the instructions in the handbook (available online on the Stihl website) and then remove the string.
