Hi Michael

From what I can see TVSN did not offer Stonedine products. There have been other companies offer this brand as part of television advertising.

If you can provide an order number I will check our records.

I would like to buy just the 24cm StoneDine casserole pot with lid, either brand new or in new condition. Where can I get one? If anyone has a new one they don't want, I am happy to buy it.

The non-stick surface on our frypan is wearing off after a few yers use. Does the 12yr warranty cover that? I tried looking up the website but it doesn't seem to exist any longer.

Can I buy a replacement handle?

Lyn
Lyn

Im not sure about getting new handles. I have found in the past with these TV items that if you break something on it you through it away and get a new one. They don't seem to keep parts for them. Might be worth giving the place you got it from a call. I have the guarantee paperwork that says to contact Brand Developers Australia P/L but that is old so might be worth googleing it. Other option is keep a look out for a second hand one in an Op Shop and buy that

I have the same problem I have contacted Stonedine NZ as the lid cracked while I was cooking I was told that I only have a 12 month guarantee I told them that I have a 12 year warranty. Looks like the warranty isn't worth the paperwork its written on. I also have a pan that has lost the non stick I was told it was neglect and not under warranty. I mention that I have only had the set for 5 years and that I have only ever used a wooden spoon with it which I have. So annoying I would be interested to hear of any similar cases.

To what temperature are cookware oven compatible ?

RICK
RICK

Not to exceed 500 °

Not Happy Jan
Not Happy Jan

That is a great question. While I have yet to actually use my cook ware in an oven, I can not recall reading anything anywhere about oven cooking temps for stone dine. I probably would not use in an oven much over about 180C, but that is just me. I would just apply the same cooking principles required for stove top use, and apply same to oven use. Medium to low heat.

Loz

In my opinion throw it away or use as an ornament in your garden. I personally have nothing good to say about this product my $400.00 was a complete rip off.

Thank you Loraine. I think your idea is a good one, I'm using mine now as a the base for my steamer now I have eventually got the smell out by boiling it a number of timer with carb soda and vinegar thanks for your advise. Georgie

The only reason most people are not happy with there Stone Dine products is because they fail to read all the instructions for the product before they begin using it. A lot of people just skim the instructions so mistakes are made and the product then fails to meet expectations. The instructions do say to season the pan first and not to use olive oil to do this, but still some folks season there pans using olive oil. There is also in the instructions a small section about using the pans on the heat. You should pre heat the pan on a medium heat first then turn the heat down. Still some people use their pans with the heat cranked up as far as they can get it to go. Doing this has a detrimental effect on the stone finish and the color finish of the pan. If your pan is burnt black on the inside, it is because you are using it with the heat turned up full blast, and you are not regulating the heat (turning the heat up and down as required, and not going above medium. Being as though it is the inside of your pan that is burnt black, unfortunately there is nothing that can be done to save your pan any more. We have had ours for the past 18 months now and they are just as good today, as they were the day we accepted delivery of them.

Mine were great for the first 9 or 10 uses, but then, oh what a disappointment. First the small fry pan then the large one. I'm reluctant to use the pot's until I know for sure that they will do the job I expect from such a highly priced product. I see from these reviews that they should be preheated and temps should be turned up then down! I saw none of this on the advertisements. I wonder what would happen if I tried the stones or gravel the way it is shown on tv.

Good luck to anyone who invests in these pots and pans.

I agree with you on reading the instructions. I cook perfectly well using the low gas setting. Great product blame the user not the tools.

asking how to clean my stonedine fry pan it has turned black?

Not Happy Jan
Not Happy Jan

Denise. Before I attempt to try and answer your question, can you tell me "What has turned black on your pan, the actual cooking surface, or is it the outside of the pan (normally redish/orange) that has turned black.?

Loz

If it is the inside forget trying to clean it the surface has gone for good. This product is a complete waist of people hard earned money, and you get no help from customer service.

They have a Facebook page. It hasn't been updated in two years but I managed to make contact using the message system. They gave me this number 1800 611 684. It answers as "Life Events" or something like that. Chap who answered me was Indian. He took my details and said he'd call back. (This was less than an hour ago - so I'm hopeful).

halfserve

Hi I am Halfserve and I wrote a review about this product and a reply. Do Not bother to get in touch with the marketers, you will continue to have huge problems with the pans and you will not get any where with the marketers personally. Contact Consumer Affairs about your problem , they helped me I have now set a president. Consumer Affairs know all about the problems you are having and will continue to have. Most importantly DO NOT GIVE UP on this and your rights.

My blue pots & pans seem OK , even the small well used scratched skillet pan but my grey hardly used frying pan in good condition is useless. Everything sticks , even bacon. Why ? & What's the warranty period?

Not Happy Jan

If the grey one is Stonedine, then you should claim the failure under the 12 year guarantee.

What screw head is used on the stonedine cookware sets? sick and tired of the handles alway being loose no tool supplied with mine

Not Happy Jan
Not Happy Jan

You may find that the reason the screw keeps coming loose is because the screw is a size smaller than the nut it has to connect with.

I would NOT recommend using the StoneDine cookware at all. Like many other people have reported, my cook ware is very bad; after about 5 to 6 times it became almost unusable! All of them are pitted and have deep gouges right down to the bare aluminium. I have NEVER used metal tools on them and I treated them properly. Heck! Why would I mistreat them when I paid $300, plus postage, for the rotten things! Even though I put oil in them they still stuck very hard to every thing, even over night soaking would not lift it. I am very suspicious that they were causing me harm with some sort of poisoning; possibly aluminium poisoning because I was feeling quite ill for no reason. I even had to have my thyroid checked, I was dizzy, could not think properly, short of breath, very wearry and had to go to the toilet many times during the night which is very unusual. I have stopped using the pans and my health has improved dramatically. I can not prove it was the cookware but it all matches in.I am now using my 34 year old Arcosteel 18/10 stainless steel pans and I am feeling heaps better. This, what I am saying is the absolute truth. I do not know any thing about the red StoneLine pans but I am going to stay away from ALL non stick equipment; it has been proven before that it is no good for any one despite what sort it is. DO NOT risk your, nor your family's, health with these StoneDine pans! I bought them in good faith but I am very disappointed that Brand Developers continue to sell these pans because they know there are very bad things wrong with them.It has been reported to them for 3 years or more now.

Lillylee
Lillylee

Look everybody is different on how they use the pans I no I stuffed mine up the first time and it did all thous things but that's because I was stupid and didn't read the guild lines propley your only allowed to use the pans on med heat never hot heat and b4 using and after you need to condition them I did this and I'm loving my pans never had an issue on these. Just like brand new but now I have the ones with

The built in strainer and pourer on each side the only thing wrong with it is when you close the lid and want to keep the steam in the steam escapes from the pouring sides of the pots 2nd generation.

I've had my set going on 6 yrs. I can't tell u if maybe they changed the pots/pans but mine cost a bit over 300 and I absolutely love them. I hate cooking with any1 else's pots/pans. Best investment when it comes to stuff in the kitchen. My noodles don't stick my eggs don't stick meat... nope... really I never have had an issue cleaning bc stuff comes off so easy. I only use plastic cookware and never put in dishwasher. I have found that I need to use a little oil in the pan for things such as chicken or eggs. But if I don't I've never had an issue with anything being so stuck I had to soak my pan. I see all the negative reviews and wonder... maybe it's a different make or there are knock offs... I don't know. But me and my husband and any1 who's used my pots and pans love them... also purchased some for my brother as a wedding gift. Him and his wife say they are their favorite set.

I think that the biggest problem with the cookware is because it is all made in China, and we all know just how good products from China are or are not.

My advice... Just don't

Wise punk
Wise punk

Harvey Norman & most retailers, make sure. its the genuine 1 with the 10 yr warranty, & make sure it never gets washed in dishwashing detergent at all as it makes it corode & won't last. I've had mine for 3 yrs now & I've stuck by the instructions since I brought it' been very happy with mine.

I've always use non metal utentisuals as i believe it prolongs the life of the pans in the long run'

all the best
