process was tedious, we had a change in site supervisors which stifled the program by a few months. Then when we got to handover, they weren't able to handover as they built the structure over the allowed council height, which wasn't acceptable by the certifier. After the constant delays, to be dealt that from your builder was a real blow. I will say they made it work by allowing us early possession, however it felt like they were doing us a favour by allowing it. Due to these issues and delay I was unable to finalise some financing therefore requested some time to rectify a small amount remaining from the final claim with a payment plan. However I was recently advised that they've taken me to QCAT over this amount of $7000 in a $900,000 contract, less than 1% of the contract value. They've also advised no rectification of defects until its resolved. [Name Removed] the managing director seems to run the show like a dictatorship, feels like everyone is walking on eggshells around him. I would definitely go with a design builder next time around. Stylemaster market themselves as a design builder but we felt a very spec builder delivery.

He communicated every step of the way, he met us on site several times and sometimes just called to check in. He gave us his honest opinion and had great knowledge about the build, he made us laugh on more than one occasion and I am glad he was the one who was appointed to my build. "Aurora" display home was very close to what we had dreamed of- but in the end, we were beyond happy with the build being so much more than the design. From the very start of the process, we were treated with so much respect from Sharon and her amazing staff as we met in their beautiful Brisbane showroom. As we were quite particular with details, I look back at the numerous emails that were quickly exchanged with no hesitation. our job moving ,,, everything has been very slow ,,, any small changes took them months to be addressed. In March this year they got back to us, this time asking to pay a third deposit to prepare our contract which we rejected ,,,, they agreed to proceed without another deposit and sent us some documents and drawing to sign which still weren’t the last revision of our house design which we signed. (While we had been told they are all being updated) Then the sale person in charge of project sent us an email congratulating us and suggesting our job would be going ahead fast and the contract ll be ready to sign in a week. Then he disappeared for 2 weeks not answering email and calls ,,, we contacted the office and this time and after another 2 weeks follow up they suggesting our contact will be ready in 6 weeks ,,,,and asking us to send all the communication with the sale person to them so they can accelerate our job. This is while we have not yet done our studio and selections which will delay everything again,,, When we contacted and complained again they say we understand and try but they can’t promise anything as they have other projects ,,, We are disappointed, stressed and exhausted,,, we are not sure how long this would take and not sure why they are doing this this to us. We have been told there are others in the same situation with stylemasters. This has impacted our life ,,, we want to go back to Brisbane to our house ,,,

Don’t trust them – Very disappointing. I have made deposit more than a year ago and was asked to pay second deposit which I did. Now they are not answering my calls and emails and delayed my project and caused us to pay for the loan and still no response. Even calling the head office no one is responding. Bad Build Quality and Finish! – Building with stylemaster has been the worst experience and caused me depression! Materials management on site was overlooked causing damage to window frames, gutters, facias and roof sheeting! 2 weeks after lock up stage 3 interior doors went missing with no forced entry! to point out to the supervisor! At frame stage, we had nails protruding out of studs and noggins, split studs and some noggins weren’t even present. We have Numerous Cracks around the house that are getting bigger! We have been told it will continue to crack and the house can move up to 40mm! Is that because you built us a lemon stylemaster?! Cracks on our garage floor, paint splatter, Green Plaster glue, chips and white plaster! Concrete splatter on our front pier face brick! Gutters are holding water, stormwater pipes holding water! One night at 7pm the plasterers where installing gyprock sheeting Using there mobile phone for light. That explains why there is visible plaster joins,screws, cracks and a appalling finish to the internal walls and ceilings! The ceiling void looks like a plaster bomb went off from plasterers grubby hands! A disgrace how trades can be so careless! Overspray on facia, window frames, window rubbers, windows, hot water unit, Ac unit and anything else that shouldn’t have paint on it! If only the painter could’ve painted where they shouldve properly. Preparation is time and money so therefore I doubt any surface was cleaned or prepped prior to painting hence the reason for paint coming off so easy and a appalling finish overall. The Painters painted over stickers, staples, bird crap and wasp nests! Walls, doors and trims mark easily due to thin paint and painting over dust! The exterior wall paint is thin and is wearing and peeling off after a pressure wash! Our downpipes have paint runs and a rough finish due to dirt blowing into the paint! Gap filler cracking around our eave trims and it’s falling out in areas! The rendering is Woeful, Lumps, dents, Deep scratches, smooth n rough patches! Crooked And cracked render around the window frames and door frames. The brickwork around our alfresco isn’t square or straight having 10mm gap one end 30mm gap in the middle and 5mm gap on the end! The Ac unit Is not square or level on The concrete slab! The Ac controller Is not level or level with the light switch. A design flaw and stylemaster quirk, Gaps at the bottom of our garage pillars big enough for vermin to enter! Kitchen Island bench is 10mm out of square! Laundry tub not square. 5 lippy floor tiles that our vacuum cleaner gets caught on and our 5 year old daughter Kicks her toes on! Oh but wait, there’s a 3mm tolerance according to the useless QBCC! All the tiles should be perfectly level with each other!no excuses! We have Grout missing from The floor tiles and visible tile glue. Uneven grout lines exposing the terracotta colour around the edges of the cheap wri wall tiles! If I had known we were getting cheap tiles that need to be painted on the edges I would’ve purchased my own! 100mm holes cut for downlights which are 90mm! Crooked Carpet In the bedroom wardrobes around the edges. The carpet in the wir in the master bedroom has marks on it and dents as if there was no underlay in sections! Runs in the stain on the front entry door and surround. Paint overspray on the stain! Unevenly cut entry door at the bottom with sharp edges. The entry door is crooked and is hard to open and shut! Scratches on the Glass side lights at entry door! 5 loose powerpoints! 2 dodgy light switches. 50mm x 70mm holes punched out not drilled in my eves for my security light sensors which have a 10mm cable!why? The Cheap door hinges are squeaking! 3 of the cheap n nasty trend windows leak water! The clothes line is about to fall off the wall from not using the proper more expensive wall anchors. Bent laundry tub shelf! Scratched stainless Steel laundry tub! Wooden spacers visible under Bathroom and en-suite mirrors! Uneven wall tile in the bathroom shower. Bathtub drains slowly! After me telling the supervisor I didn’t want the skip bin placed on our new driveway, the skip bin was put on the driveway which caused a rust stain and black tire marks from the truck that put it there! On Handover day, our supervisor wanted to hand us the keys to a house that didn’t even have a letter box and over 150 Defects and problems including a driveway that looked 20 years old! We refused to take the keys due to the problems and month went by and we had no choice to take the keys to a house with a letter box this time however the face was Scratched on the letter box! Since we have moved in we have been inconvenienced 5 times from tradies coming into what is supposed to be a brand new home fixing defects and it’s still unsatisfactory!

Stylemaster delivered on all aspects throughout the build - Customer Service, price, communication, customisation and ease of build. By 'Ease of build' I also mean convenient and easy for us to pick colours / tiles / electrical appointments. Some builders have their appointments near the Gold Coast! I live and work in Brisbane, so it was a big advantage for us to visit the Stylemaster studio at Milton.

From the beginning to end, the wonderful Stylemaster team helped us to create our stunning new home. (I hope it's ok I quote a few first names and I'm very sorry if I've left anyone out. Of course my thanks goes to the entire Stylemaster Team, because I acknowledge there is alot of work that goes on behind the scenes). It was our pleasure to meet and work on our build with: Michael, Phillip, Erin, Kate, Maureen, Jess, Jayne, Jade and Stuart. Every build is going to have hiccups... it's just the nature of the beast. I'm so happy to say, Stylemaster was there for us. There was a supply issue at one point (Not Stylemasters fault). So a particular thanks to Kate for going above and beyond sorting this out and keeping us in the loop!

I've left out one very obvious person from that list, but he deserves to be called out separately - Our Building Supervisor : Glen. If you've ever built before, you know that alot of your stress / anxiety during a build, and to an extent, the final product can be attributed to the Builder supervisor you have. Well... Glen is professional, knowledgeable, courteous and pays a great deal of attention to detail! Glen, you are the best I've ever come across and we truly thank-you.

As a final mention - StyleMaster seems to have very good trades that they use, also. This is another reason we ended up with such a good product.

never had the experience I had with Stylemaster from customising plans to suit my lifestyle within my budget, the expert support and the outstanding finish of my home. Sharon and Miranda took the time to really understand what I wanted from the home and the style I was trying to achieve. Their attention to detail and ideas for maximising the use of the space translated to exactly the vision I had for my home. In particular my amazing kitchen, master ensuite and alfresco spaces. As much as I love the homes in glossy magazines, I am NOT an interior designer. Stylemaster had that covered too. Kate's patience with me and advice on finishes and support to be ‘a bit bold’ was invaluable. I just love the way everything came together. I feel like I live in one of those glossy magazines every day. Suppliers Stylemaster used were also outstanding. In particular, Beaumont where I had an excellent experience with tile selection, their advice on the ensuite feature tiles made all the difference and really brought that 'wow' factor to the room. The guys on site involved in the build where also terrific, site was always clean, questions answered reasonably and the end product superb quality. Any 'hurdles' that cropped up along the way were reasonably able to be worked through and resolved. Thanks again to everyone at Stylemaster just love my home. I would absolutely recommend.

Our couple of visits to the Skyline Studio were great thanks to the support, advice and ideas from the various ladies who we interacted with.

Our site cut was an early surprise, work has been happening constantly and our trades have been professional, hard working and their outputs have been of high standards.

Our home is double story and quite large, and we just reached lock up at 14 weeks.

Cost compared to other builders is slightly higher, however the quality, speed, design options and second to none construction staff have made it worth every cent. A special mention to our amazing site supervisor Danny Bax must be made!

up with some great suggestions which made our home unique. The build was a relaxed process, and our Site Manager was easy to deal with and regularly chatted to us and kept us up-to-date with progress. Any issues were dealt with during the course of the build with ease.

If we had any disappointment in the process it would have to be just the finishing touches prior to our handover. We felt a little let down by some sloppy workmanship, and the 'builders clean' was not really a clean at all. Moving in day should be one where you walk through the door and can start enjoying your beautiful home immediately, rather than having to start cleaning it. My only other disappointment is that our defects took longer than usual to be finalised, but ultimately they were done to our complete satisfaction and our supervisors have gone above and beyond in many instances.

I have enjoyed the whole process with them. Their staff are professional, know their jobs and are very helpful. Special mention to our consultant who saw us through the selection process - could not have asked for a more knowledgeable consultant in all products offered by Stylemaster, and a huge thank you to our Customer Service Manager who was our main point of contact during the build. She was amazing and we cannot thank her enough for her prompt responses to our enquiries, and her willingness to ensure that everything was finalised to our satisfaction.

We pretty much came in on budget. There were no hidden costs.

A job well done Stylemaster. We would not have a problem building our 5th home with you if we ever decided to move from this beautiful home!

Building was promptly done and whenever we visited to look all was great. The end result is a beautiful 4 bedroom home of which we were proud. Loved living it in. It met all our needs and the rooms are a great size.

Their after sales service however was less than satisfactory. We had the supervisor around probably three to four times between three to six years regarding cracks appearing both inside and outside the house but they were never repaired. The comment was always 'We'll wait to see what happens. If they get bigger ..." Well you know where that goes .. yes despite contacting them each time as a follow up they made sure the six year building warranty passed without our needs being met. Not happy Jan!!

the second stage which required a full redraw at the last minute, no electrical appointment which really should be a requirement as its so easy to get it wrong when you plan it yourself. I am sorry Max was a great guy but I felt he was really trying to rush everything through and if a little more time was taken we could have had a fantastic home not just a great home. Also Will was a great site inspector and usually answered my SMS messages, however I did feel that he did not like us questioning things about the house and took it personal at times, we were just wanting to make sure it was right. Overall they did a good job and I would recommend them, they do however need to improve there administration as its really lacking, the use of spreadsheet for everything is so 1990's, guys build a web application to do this stuff and save the administration headaches.

All the staff were amazing. The best part of the process was colour selection and the colour consultant was amazing. We manage to meet Sharon Peconi. She was amazing and warm, also helped with colour selection. You wouldn't expect that from the builders.

We build Aurora 32 luxe specification with Mode plus facade. The house has a very good street appeal. Floor plan is quite big with 4 Beds, Media, Living, Study and MPR, - very spacious. the best part of the house is Kitchen with Butlers pantry and Master Ensuite - very carefully planned. Every room has beautiful view (it is build on an acreage)

Our sales consultant, colour consultant, customer service consultant, building supervisor, finance-admin and reception staff- were exceptional.
