Cafe Barista not providing enough milk froth after a year – My Sunbeam Cafe Barista is not providing enough milk froth after a year I called Customer Service of Sunbeam. At first they asked me to do some checking & testing but problem still persist. Eventually, after two weeks they sent me a replacement of my Cafe Barista unit and was satisfied with their support. coffee, a bit hotter than the machine provides so we finish off for 20 seconds in the microwave. After four years, we will probably get a new one soon as the frothing side of things is becoming a bit hit and miss. We definitely feel we’ve had our moneys worth and I’m more than happy to replace a with the same type again.

Milk no longer frothing – I had to replace my machine after less than a year as there so much steam coming and it was making chugging noises. Now the replacement seems to have stopped frothing milk. It literally just pours out . I clean everything . Use milk straight out of the Fridge and have plenty of water in it. So frustrating Show details · 1

the issue is/what caused it. Just said it's out if warranty and nothing they can do. My mother doesn't even use it everyday, and the days she does use it it is only for 1 coffee. Sunbeams reputation has gone downhill. I had a food saver also having issues after 12 months or next to no use.
I do not recommend this product or this company.

Customer Service non existent – I was given this coffee machine about 12 months ago and it often leaked. Then it decided not to work. I’d turn it on and water just kept coming out of the spout and couldn’t push any buttons to make coffee. for help, I later received an email advising to phone Sunbeam. I did this and was asked if I descaled it. I couldn’t as I couldn’t push any buttons. He kept asking the same question and I kept repeating I couldn’t. I then had to tip the machine upside down and take a photo of the model number. Then I had to take a video showing what was happening when I turned it on and and couldn’t push any buttons. I was advised to send this replying to another email he sent me. After not receiving and response, I sent an email asking if there was any updates. The response was that because the model was produced in 2020 and I didn’t have a receipt, nothing could be done. I will never by another Sunbeam product again, they don’t last like they used to.

Starts out great but then – Had one of these machines and it lasted three years before the frother packed it in. Bought a new one in July 2021 and the frother has packed it in again and only just outside warranty. Have done everything regards cleaning, vinegar, descaling, chilled milk, etc etc and it still doesn't work properly. Sunbeam really needs to fix what appears to be a very common problem. Show details

Good for the price – For a coffee machine that’s $200ish… it’s good. Can’t expect it to make coffee shop coffee when it’s an automatic machine. It’s great for black coffee and just ok for milk coffee. But if you want coffee shoo coffee, you’ll need to spend more no matter the brand. Show details

doing anything about it.
For the price, having a detachable milk jug and automatic frothing option (even though its not as great as what can be produced with manual frothing on other machines) was pretty good and led to buying the machine for a second time. Have to weigh up though if throwing away $200 every 12 months (or less) is worth it in the long run though.

one touch (which I love) and I can have a cappuccino at home now any time I want. I bought Vittoria Chocochino drinking chocolate large shaker to shake onto the top of my cappuccino. I have bought decaf and regular coffee so I can make what I like. I love the way the Sunbeam is easy to set up, clean and operate. It makes me the coffee I love. I'd recommend it. It's a luxury to make my own cappuccino at home and the milk is nice and frothy, better than I've had from some takeaways. It also does latte and espresso but I haven't tried them. My favourite is Cappuccino coffee.
Failure – This is a really disappointing purchase. My husband and children pooled their resources to buy it for me as a gift. The frother has always produced over bubbly milk despite the lowest setting. Now it is just pulsing and not putting out enough froth for a coffee of any size. Use it daily, just what we need – We purchased this during the 2020 Victorian lockdown as we wanted decent coffee at home. There have been a few complaints but it appears that people have not read the manual properly. I find it does froth a bit too much for my liking on the latte setting.
